The Apple - 85W MagSafe 2 Power Adapter with Magnetic DC Connector is inexpensive "insurance" so that I always have a power source for my laptop, whether at home or away from home. The magnetic DC connector is a brilliant idea!

Misplaced my cord and had to buy another, so I opted for BestBuy given my familiarity, their great pricing and reliability. The Power Adapter was perfect as a replacement for my OEM cord. Great value for the money as well.

Not sure about this type of charger but it does do the job.

Had this product for 7 years before the wire started tearing and stopped charging. Bought a new one and it charges just as well as my old one. This works with Macbook Pro 15" Late 2013.

What do you do when you accidently run over your power cord for you Mac while vacuuming and it chews the cord up? Well you head to BB and hope they can help you! Minutes later I walk out with a new replacement cord and am happy!

No problems with replacement, a little pricey but that's Apple.

So glad that i got my power adapter to replace the original one that i lost during my travel to Austin Texas. Love how it works for my macbook. Fast and reliable. Same as my original one. Highly recommended.

My OEM charger stopped working. Apple said my motherboard failed and wasn't supplying power. Come to find out with my own testing it was the charger that wasn't working. Saved myself $450 by buying this $66 charger (on sale).

It is unfortunate that Apple's power supplies, despite their attractive design, clearly suffer from a design flaw where the cable insulation fails, usually right at the connector. When that happens to you, this is what you need.

Unfortunately, power bricks seem to be consumables. This is helping me extend the life of my 8 year old MacBook Pro. That's a good thing.

This one's a no brainier. Mac power supply works for Mac computers.

Sadly this is the 6th or 7th one I've hade to purchase over the years. The cord covering has a tendency to break down and expose the wiring. It would be great if Apple would make this a completely modular system that you can replace the worn out part.

A bit expensive, but what can you expect for a $2k computer? My real issue is the quality. I treat these things pretty gently, but like any of my other Apple cables, they constantly break and I have to buy new ones. If I can say anything positive, it charges fast.

This is the 3rd time I've had to purchase a magsafe adapter for my Macbook Pro. They get so broken after a year or so of use, and for such a high price too. While this purchase was fine, if you can find an off-brand one to make it work, I recommend that instead.

As with all Apple cords, etc. - very high quality.

My daughter's power adapter died. Normally I would try to fix it but in the middle of a pandemic, I didn't have the patience. This replacement worked fine and saved much aggravation.
