Needed it so got it and it works. Which is good enough

This little guy will work on your macbook pro retina 15" or even 13". It's pretty expensive, but you cant put a price on an original Mac product. This seems to work as a replacement for the 60W Magsafe 2 adapter.

So for some reason, Apple changed the adapter connector on this model (for Retina version) as opposed to a regular Macbook Pro. This is the one I needed, because I have a MacBook Pro Retina laptop, so it works great.

Yeah, they're expensive.. But they work, and the clones are garbage. Mine started fraying at the mag tip after about 3 years. Apple really needs to work on that. They don't make the 60W that originally came with my 13" Pro, but this works. It doesn't charge any faster. The computer regulates the power draw

Original charger went missing, this was the exact replacement needed. Came packaged very well and the service during these times from Best Buy was excellent.

Glad they still sell this for my old 2012 MacBook Pro. Tip: use the plug extension cord! Don't need to plug that big brick into the wall. :)

Needed a new MagSafe 2 charger for a gift this was exactly what I needed.

Ie has this for a few months now. I acidentally dropped it of my second floor balcony. Still works! I don’t recommend you do it...however can’t beat the quality of OEM accessories.

Love the convenience of accessing Apple accesories at Best Buy. This particular Apple cord needs design support in the two fragile points where it tends to break.

Happy with the way it charges my Mac. I really like the magnetic DC connector that disconnects when strained to help protect your laptop and prevent the cable from fraying or weakening.

My old cord wore out after a few years of use. It was intermittent for a while and then completely gave out. This would get more stars from me if the price wasn't so hefty and if i wasn't worried that it will wear out again.

My original adapter went out after 4 years. This was the logical alternative. I ponied up the money thinking that I will not have to replace this adapter for a number of years.

As many apple products, this adapter is very expensive.

Most power adapters are smaller and cheaper these days but if you need a power adapter for your magsafe2 type Mac you really don't have a choice. This works fine, even comes with the extended power cable which is a nice touch.

My cats had chewed the power cord to my Mac. The Best Buy associate was easily able to help me find a new cord and adapter for my Mac! It's great to be able to find a store with competent employees!!

Bought this power supply because my original one was cut by accident. This one is the exact same one that came with my Mac Book Pro 15' Retina Display, so It worked perfectly. Reasonable cost
