This replaced my old power adapter that was getting overheated. This one does not overheat.

The power cord works just fine. I have an issue with the design of the cord by Apple itself. Too many places for the cord to get kinked and break internally. This is the second cord for my MAC. And its expensive. but it does work just fine. No issue with that.

Being owned by the MacMafia means that I have no choice but to spend an excessive amount of money on their accessories. Luckily Best Buy had this in stock when my parents' cat ate my power cord during a visit... saved the day.

... if your original MacBook power supply wire wears out, which it will. What a shame a laptop that goes for over $1000 comes with such a crummy power supply.

have bought other power adapters from computer store that's not apple branded. they got hot and didn't last long. So back to the genuine product

This charger is exactly what I needed. I have bought it before and knew it would work.

Had to replace my older 2009 Power Adapter. Comparable price to the other stores. Recommend, plus you get the Reward Points added to your account.

I tried ordering a generic charging online and it burnt itself out within a few days. Guess I’ll stick with genuine apple chargers from now on

I needed a second adapter for travel use. My only compaint about these adapters is that after several years of wrapping the power cord up, it can fail where the wire exits the adapter.

If you have a Mac, and it uses this type of MagSafe, you need 1-4 around. My wife and I have three a piece, one at desk at work, one at home, and one ready to travel.

Apple does everything well in my opinion. I only replaced this charger because I lost my other one, this one has not had the same freying that earlier models had.

Picked this up at my grandon’s request so can’t really accurately rate the quality. The one he bought originally stopped functioning but in defense of the product, in the hands of a teenager, I imagine it suffered some (unintentional) abuse.

The charger was exactly what I needed for my Macbook Pro (15 in, Mid 2015) Thank you! Delivery was a bit wonky but I got it!

Hate that we keep having to buy them since they don't last really long as normal wear and tear usually amounts to them not working very long. Not a Best Buy issue, an Apple issue and how they design the products/materials used.

best buy is my favorite store to purchase apple products from - they always have majority of uncommon items in stock

We now have the added convenience of being able to charge our macbook pro regardless of where it is without having to carry the power supply from one location to another.

I would recommend this product to a friend if it would fit the needs of their Apple product. Make sure you know what you're looking for; different MacBooks require different adapters!

more important than how well it worked was that my local best buy had it in stock. i ran down purchased it and was able to complete my work on time
