Kinda tough to say any sort of review about an OEM power supply. I brought the wrong power brick as I was traveling and luckily they had a return on one. I am sure that person did the same thing I did except instead of keeping it they returned it. However, I was hesitant about buying a returned power brick. But I did and kick would have it, it still looked brand new and it worked flawlessly. Thank you who ever turned it. It saved me a few bucks.

This power adapter is able to charge my 13’ and 15’ MacBook ProS with touch-bars. Works as expected. Not much has changed with the adapter over the years.

I use the one that came with the Mac Book for travel and this extra one is to stay at my work desk so there is always one there. What I didn't know but quickly learned was it didn't come with a cable! So trip 2 to Best Buy to purchase a Apple - 6.6' USB-C Charge Cable - White Model: MLL82AM/ASKU: 5596719.
Current link to cable on the Best Buy site:

Much better than off-brands that were too hot to touch. 4 stars because the actual charging cable is not included. Also quite expensive.

Using as second charger for HP Spectre. Has enough power to make it past the HP warnings and just says "Please use HP adapter" meaning "Spend our money with us".

What can I say - Apple makes a great product, and having the 15" MacBook Pro, this is the charger to get for USB Type-C. The good news is that the cable now disconnects completely from the brick, a la iPad/iPhone USB chargers of heritage, but this discnnnection leaves a small problem that the pricing guys hope you won't notice: To use this device, you NEED to have a separate USB Type-C cable (NOT included). This charger is also approximately the same price as the FORMER MagSafe charger of similar capacity (85w - For the legacy MacBook Pro 15 Retina (2012-2015 Ivy Bridge/Haswell/Broadwell models). Having to pay the same, then an additional ~$20 for the connection to the MacBook itself seems like a tough pill to swallow.
My only other gripe is that the charger no longer supports cable management, likely as a result of the removal of the built-in cable... This would have been an awesome feature to keep on the brick for storage of the separate (and separately sold) USB-C cable.
Besides those two issues with the removal of things in the design, Apple makes a trustworthy solid device that holds up to wear and tear... These cords made of white polycarbonate rarely show scratches or scuffs as easily as other adapters, and still look better than the "black brick" chargers from some PCs (though progressive types like HP have mocked this design and have some nice looking AC adapters these days for their own Type-C devices!) Definitely worth 4 stars, but if they'd bring cable management back and INCLUDE the Type-C cable for this amount, I'd be trying to find a way to give it 6 stars!

I bought this item as open box and it basically came to me brand new. I have had it at least 2 months and it has worked perfectly just like the one that came with my computer. I love having an extra one to keep in my abg and one at home. I would always forget this piece of charger when packing my bag for the today to leave.

I miss Mag-Safe and cord organizer

Previous chargers from recent Apple Laptops had mag-safe adapters that prevent someone from pulling a laptop off of a table accidentally. The new laptops don't have that, this is a step backward in my opinion. Also, the old Apple adapters had a pop out cord winder to keep the cords organized. The new ones don't - another step backwards IMHO. The upside to the new USB-C charger is that it gives you another port when not charging. Otherwise, it is a power adapter - how much can you praise it or rate it?

I have bought several of these now and they work as expected. The only thing I (and my business partners) don't like is the cost of these power adapters. It seems outrageous to spend $125 for a transformer for your mac and it doesn't even include the USB-C cable. But you don't really have a choice so we're stuck having to buy these from Apple.

Good quality, but Apple should really lower the price on these. They charge a premium for the computers, then do they really need to stick it to you on overpriced adapters and cords? it is quality, so I recommend, but come on Apple. Buy at Best Buy in case any issue...they will take care of you.

The charger works great. However, it doesn't come with a charging cable. The description doesn't say anywhere that the charging cable has to be purchased separately. Only after it arrived and I went back did I see someone had asked a question, but you can't see this unless you specifically click to see the questions that are asked.
Otherwise I would give this 5 stars!
