Too big for your ears

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have one of the earlier generation Apple AirPods and have been very happy with them so I bought my husband the newest generation (thinking they would have the newest technology) for Christmas. 3 or so weeks later he tells me I’m not sure I like these, they keep falling out of my ears cause they’re too big. So I try them on, painful after just a couple minutes of wearing them. Returning them now for the older generation if possible.
