They will never be half as good as a decent pair of over the ear noise cancellation headphones. They are ok for what they are if you don’t expect too much. I do like that they are portable. The worst part of these, for me, is the horrible Bluetooth range - I go further than around 15 ft and they start cutting out. Turning off noise cancellation doesn’t help. My old pair of gen 2 have much better Bluetooth range. I overcame this by just playing music straight off my watch paired directly to the headphones instead of through the phone. If I do need more range, I have to pull out the Bose headphones.
