Sound is great and noise cancellation works really well it also has great sound quality with phone calls. Seamless connectivity between iPhone and iPad.

Great product, works well with apple devices and has really good battery life, be sure to make sure the are on correctly with the left and right ear if you plan on using them to talk on the phone.

I went back and between these and the Sony ones. I picked these because of the sound quality and color variations. They do a little while to adjust to. After a few uses they adjust. I did end up buying silicone covers and ones for outer shell to prevent scratches. My only complaint is they can be tight and are not water and sweat resistant. The sound is amazing.

Love the style and ease of connection with all apple products but the battery life is not great and the lightning port is outdated. Bass is not as strong as other headphones but I got them for their great noise canceling so I can study in crowded places and focus. Alone they dont cancel noise entirely but no headphones do that so I wore wax ear plugs and then had these on top with noise canceling turned on and it was perfect!

Great! I am an Apple fanatic, so I will say that my review isn't completely objective. This is not a sponsored review. I spent my own money on these. I will be honest, I had so much hesitation prior to purchasing these headphones based on some of the reviews. The biggest concerns were all the reviews that mentioned connectivity issues and the condensation issues. I can honestly say, after using these for a solid month, that I have not experienced any of these issues whatsoever. They connect automatically once on my head, and when I am using multiple apple devices, they will switch automatically based on whatever device is playing audio (except my MacBook Pro, but I do not mind manually connecting them. I literally takes two clicks...). The audio quality is probably the best of any headphones that I have ever owned. My favorite features are the immersive seal and the noise cancellation. The design of the headphones allows for your ears to be completely enveloped in sound, and when that seal is combined with noise cancellation, it is like the world around you disappears. I love them. They are pricey, but I have ABSOLUTELY NO REGRETS purchasing them. I saved up for them, and they are, in my opinion, worth every. single. penny. I did purchase Applecare+ for an additional 60 dollars. That's a no-brainer, seeing as how expensive these things are. I also bought a thin silicon covering to protect from scratches. All in all, if you have the money, and you love apple products, and you like that premium apple feel, BUY THESE! Totally worth it.

I've been using Apple headphones for a while now, and I have to say, they're amazing. The sound quality is a solid 10/10, making every song and podcast sound crisp and clear. Apple products are expensive. You are paying for the quality of the product, the design, the ecosystem, and the “Apple” branding. To me, there are a few main factors to look at when buying over the ear wireless headphones: Sound Quality, Noise Cancellation, Comfort, Battery Life, and lastly Price. Sound Quality 8/10 If you own a pair of AirPods Pro, then you will notice the Sound Quality to be mostly the same when listening to music. When I first tried on the AirPods Pro, I noticed a significant difference in audio quality compared to the Original AirPods. I expected that same difference when putting on the AirPods Max but that wasn’t really the case. For music, my listening experience was similar to the AirPods Pro. However, the Max has much less distortion when at an increased volume level. Let’s talk about audio when watching movies. The key here is Spatial Audio and the use of the 40mm drivers. Spatial Audio is a feature that is also on the AirPods Pro however the Max really optimizes this feature. Watching movies that utilize the Spatial Audio feature make you feel like you are sitting in a movie theater! Noise Cancellation 10/10 When Apple introduced Transparency Mode on the AirPods Pro they set a new standard for the headphone market. This feature has transferred over to the AirPods Max with even better noise cancellation due to the over the ear design of the Max. You feel completely isolated when in Noise Cancellation mode but as soon as you press that button turn on Transparency Mode you are brought right back to reality. Comfort 8/10 These things are heavy! At 385g these headphones have some mass to them. Due to the aluminum design, you will feel them on your head. I found the mesh bridge at the top to take some of the weight off the top of my head but not all of it. Will cause head fatigue if worn for extremely long periods of time. Battery Life 8/10 They don’t have the best battery life for wireless headphones however this is completely due to the large 40mm drivers and the fact that there is no off button on this pair of headphones. The only way to “turn them off” is to put them in the case. The case is dumb, the only thing it is useful for it to protect the ear cups from banging together when they are in transport. Price These headphones cost $549... that’s an insane price to pay for headphones. However, these are not your everyday consumer headphones. They are an Apple Product. Overall: If you are looking for over the ear headphones and are deep in the Apple Ecosystem then these are the headphones for you. If you are an everyday consumer and care more about price then look to Sony. If you just own an iPhone and want headphones and them being over the ear isn’t a dealbreaker, then get a pair of AirPods Pro.
