Had the very 1st gen AirPods and it made my ears hurt. Definitely was uncomfortable after 30 minutes of use. Received the new 3rd gen, and it definitely was an upgrade of comfort and sound quality. For a small difference, I purchased the AirPods Pro for comparison. The noise cancellation and transparency mode is such a plus. Worth the extra money for sure. These AirPods including the 3rd gen is a different fit compared to the 1st/2nd gen so the sit in my ear better and does not give me pain in my ears.

These are perfect as long as you keep them clean and don’t lose them. I’d recommend getting the rubber catalyst case for these while you’re at it. Pros Sound quality: Good. They hit all the check marks for me. They fit well, comfortable, sound great, hold a charge and very easy to use.

These are the third pair I’ve bought since the AirPods first came out. The pro’s are definitely worth the extra cost over the regular AirPods, since they have noise cancellation. Further, they are extremely comfortable to wear, very quick to charge, and easy to use with Apple products. I’ve never paired them with any non-Apple products, so I can’t speak to the ease/difficulty of that, but it’s a breeze to pair with any apple product. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

All I can say is wow. I’ve specifically been looking for the ability at work to listen to music while still hearing my surroundings…these are perfect. Sound is great but not at the level of Sony WH-1000mx4. The noise cancellation is excellent but not as isolating as my Sonys. For in ear, these are very comfortable and I charge them mid day in the case and can wear for the whole day. Mine do fall out if I lean over,,, but otherwise stay put.
