This new generation fixes a lot of the problems with the first pair. There are speakers om the case itself and ot can be charged with a apple watch charger. Would definitely recommend, especially if you have an iphone.

A solid upgrade for the noise cancellation!

The real reason to upgrade though is for the battery life and the amazing noise cancellation. It can literally save your ears from loud sounds like jackhammers, lawnmowers, etc, while letting you still hear clearly. The case now has a "find-my" speaker too, a nice touch.
