These headphones are without a doubt the best tech purchase I've ever made. Pros: The fit is great, I've had zero issues with them falling out during runs when I'm sweaty. The noise cancelling is insane. They charge quickly, and synch easily. Cons: Randomly, one headphone won't charge all the way (usually seems to be because the case has some dirt or something on the leads). They're expensive. Overall: I would spend twice the amount for these headphones. The quality of sound is through the roof, they're comfortable, efficient and wonderful. You won't be disappointed!

    Worth the upgrade

I purchased the Pros for my 14 year old son. Initially, he told me he would be fine with a new pair of the old Airpods. When I went to the store to purchase his third pair of Airpods, I was intrigued by some of the upgrades with the Pro. Most importantly that they stay in your air. His other Airpods, which were the old models, he kept losing the left ear. These new Pros not only stay in his ear, but the sound is unmatched and completely drowns our outside noise. The charge is phenomenal and the Pros are very stylish. Most people stop him and ask him what Airpods are those. Definitely a must buy.

Hands down the most useful and convenient headphones I've ever had. Connect easily, good sound, good battery life, excellent noise cancellation. I'd highly recommend these. If you're used to over-the-ear sound & noise cancellation you will see lower performance with earbuds, but as far as ear buds go...these are the best I've owned. My only complaint is that during intense workouts like running or jumping they can come loose. I've purchased 'ear wings' for them that I put on temporarily for that situation and that has fixed the issue. For day-to-day activities they fit great.

Cons - Occasionally fall out of ears and when they are in even if you don't have the noise cancelling on it is still hard to hear people talk if music is playing (this could also be considered a pro). Pros - amazing quality, sound, battery life, charge time, fit, functionality, Siri. Highly recommend. I actually went back to the regular air Pods after purchasing these but only lasted a month or so with the Pros. Ended up buying another pair (had given those to my wife - no way she's giving those back lol).

Perfect headphones as advertised. Noise cancellation works great and the best. The ear piece fits well for me and no complaints! If you’re considering between the first generation and the pro just go pro and spend the little extra. You won’t be disappointed as the technology is far advanced from the generation one. So far battery is holding up the recommended hours and my wireless charger I have works perfect for the case. If you’re transferring over from the first generation of AirPods it will take you some time to get used to the buttons to pause/play instead of tapping.

Bought these as a replacement for another well-known brand. Some colleagues of mine had recently bought pairs of these and raved about them. I now see why. Easy to setup and connect to all my Apple products (iphones, ipad). The sound quality and clarity is amazing. The one major concern i had was how would they feel in my ears? With the silicone (?) tips, they fit fine and are fairly comfortable. All in all, I am extremely pleased with these and would recommend them to everyone.

I wasn’t sure that I wanted to take the money plunge on these, but they are totally awesome!! I love the ability to transfer between transparency and noise canceling mode. Both are great in their own respects. Also, the seem less connection to my other Apple devices makes these so much easier to use because I’m consistently changing between iPhone and iPad usage. The charging case is also nice. I spend a lot of my day on the phone for work, so I can charge it be bud while listening through the other and they’ll last all day. Overall, this was a good investment.

they are good and bad. they stay fit in the ear even while working out which is plus. the noise cancellation is good but the other party hears lot of ambient sound and sometimes if you are taking calls out in the open they other side may not hear anything. good for listening music though. spatial audio is very interesting technology. The lows are very low :) i mean completely depends upon the song you are listening to. Overall I liked them because they are super convenient with Apple products. They just work! the device switching is smooth and very intelligent if the devices are signed in with same apple id. connecting them to other apple devices or android or laptop is a bit hassle not that smooth experience.

For many years I have used my Bose over the ear noise cancelling muffs. Love them. Then came face cancer and the lifeguard hat. No more Bose. These provide a clear and audibly observable level of cancellation. They work well and the fit is comfortable and controls easy. I miss having a volume control to dial in without touching the phone, but Hey Siri change the volume is adequate. Battery life has proven to be between 7-8 hours. My Bose earmuff style easily have better cancellation, but honestly more than I expected from these while on the riding mower so I gave a five.

Comparing AirPods Pro, Bose QE and Sony WF1000XM3

I bought the AirPods Pro when they came out. I had the first AirPods which, although didn’t sound great, where easy to use and carry, and I thought had a great microphone. Although the Pros are much better, I’ve always had a problem with them: they fall of my ears. I just got the new Comply 2.0 tips for them yesterday, which prompted me to write this review. (By the way, so far, the tips are great. The Pros sound better, and have stayed in my ears). I also have the Sony WF 1000XM3, which, as much as I like them, also fall off my ears. The “ear falling” problem led me to try the Bose. Sound: I tried a number of songs on all 3. I streamed the music from Tidal Hi Fi, so they’re all at higher resolutions. I’ll list some here: 1. Are you even real? James Blake - this song sounded terrible on the Bose. Muffled to the point that I wonder if these headphones are working correctly. As you might have read, the Bose Music app doesn’t have an equalizer, so there’s nothing you can do on this one. On the AirPods Pro, the song sounded much better than in the Bose. On the Sonys, about 3% better than in the Pros. 2. Blinding Lights - The Weekend - This song came out great in all 3. Edge to Sony over the Bose, but not by much. It sounded tiniest on the Pros. 3. Morning Dance - Spyro Gyra. This is a classic smooth jazz song. The Bose won this round. The song was expansive, lots of small details came out, it was great. I also played a couple of Joshua Redman songs, and I would say the Bose sounded better on those. I feel that the Bose will probably play better jazz music, if that’s your thing. 4. Malamente - Rosalia. The Sonys won this round going away. Once again, the Bose sounded a bit muffled. Song was good on the Pros, but perhaps a little bit too trebly. 5. Paranoid Android - Radiohead. This song was really good on all 3, Bose was not that far off the Sonys. 6. The Only Thing - Travis. This was another song that the Bose couldn’t play well either. Once again the tinny, muffled sound came up. It felt like i turned the music down on the headphones (I didn’t). Definitely better on the Sony and Pros. Overall, on music playing, I would rate the Sonys number 1, especially if you use Tidal. For my taste, the “360 reality audio” does make songs sound better. The Bose are number 2, but not by much over the AirPods Pro with the Comply tips. The new ios update that added the spatial sound to the Pros with the Comply tips has made, to my ears, a huge difference. In fact, if you don’t listen to jazz, you might prefer the Pros. Microphone/Phone calls I did several blind test calls with my partner, so she could tell me which one sounded better to her. In all tests, she said my voice sounded “about 70% better” (her number) with the AirPods Pro. She said that my voice sounded “feminine” (I’m male) with the Sony/Bose compared to the AirPods Pro. I then tested the Bose and the Sonys with her as well. She said that the Bose sounded better. For the record, I did a call with my parents with the Bose, and they never complained that they couldn’t hear my voice well. They have complained several times with the Sonys (as well as other people). As for hearing phone calls, to my ears, the AirPods Pro sound more natural. I would say that the Bose are second. Phone calls are the Sony’s weakest link. If you want to use the headphones mainly for phones, as much as I love the Sony’s for music, their microphone is just not good. Fit AirPods Pro - the Pros have always felt comfortable to me. However, as I mentioned previously, the Pros routinely fall off my ears. They have fallen while sitting on my desk, when I’m running, walking, or riding a bike. I NEVER had this problem with the original AirPods. The Comply tips arrived yesterday. I want to take them out on a run. For being in the house this past day, they’ve been a huge improvement. I’m glad I bought them. Sony - the Sonys fit comfortably in my ear. However, they will eventually fall off. This happens if I’m walking or exercising. I have to be checking them every few minutes. Bose - I will start with the good: they stay in my ears. I’ve tried them in the house so far, but they’ve been very stable. The bad: 2 things. (1) the tip flies off my ears. The small is too small to do anything. The medium and large just end up flapping, and have to adjust it. It’s very noticeable. (2) They hurt. They stay in my ear, but the seal is seemingly so tight that it hurts my earholes (the biology term is probably the concha). I used to have the old Bose Soundsport wired headphones, and the tip in those was incredibly comfortable and stable. I might be doing something wrong when putting them in, but this will probably lead me to return them. I won’t wear headphones, especially ones at this price, that hurt. Noise Cancelling: 1. Bose - they did a fantastic job with this. I stood next to the dryer, and I could barely hear it. My partner stood next to me to talk to me, and I couldn’t hear her either. If I turned it off to 0, I could hear her, but even then, the seal is so tight that it wasn’t fully perfect. On noise cancelling, these are far and away the best. If that’s the most important thing to you, stop reading the review and order them now. 2. AirPods Pro - I’ve always been amazed at how good the Pros block sound for their size. I’m looking forward to trying them outside with the Complys, as I think it will be even better. However, the Bose are better. 3. Sony - the Sonys block a lot of outside noise as well. I don’t know if it’s better than the Pros, but it’s right there. Hard for me to pick a number 2 here. Conclusion It’s possible that, if the Bose didn’t hurt my ears so much, that they could be the best overall set. I don’t like how some songs sound, but in others, it’s almost as good as the Sonys, which to me, are the standard. I actually have the Bowers Wilkins PX 7s, and I prefer how music sounds on the Sonys. However, given the pain on my ears, this is how I would rate all of them: 1. Music playing - Sony, Bose, AirPods Pro. 2. Phone Calls - AirPods Pro, Bose, Sony. (I will add that I get complaints on voice quality when using the PX7s as well. 3. Comfort - AirPods Pro with Comply tips, Sony, Bose (VERY last). 4. Noise Cancelling - Bose (by a lot), AirPods Pro, Sony.

Completely awesome headphones. The fit and sound quality are very good though obviously don't compare to over the ear headphones. However, I'm not bringing my sony or bose over the ear headphones around with me everywhere. They hold a very strong charge: I left it in my car for 3 weeks and when I came back, they still had 95% charge which is amazing. Best thing about these are that they fit in your pockets easily despite being a bit larger than the standard AirPods. Paired automatically with my iphone which is what I wanted and I have no complaints.

I am so glad Apple came out with these new Airpods with silicon tip, as I disliked the previous versions. These pods fit perfectly in my ear. I can wear them for hours without having any ache or pain. Each pod last 2-3 hours for me, but the case charges them back overnight. The case itself requires charging once every 4-5 days. It connects to Iphone as soon you put them out from the case. If you are playing in media, it pauses when you take the pods out of your ear. The noise cancellation is excellent quality. Overall, really happy with my Airpods.

The pros are much better than the original AirPods. I work construction and can have in, blocking noise that would require ear buds, and still listen to music etc. That being said, they are not total noise canceling. Better than having just ear protection in, but not complete noise canceling like an over the ear. I do like the fact of being able to listen to transparency or switch to “noise cancelling”. Great features, price is high, But worth paying over Gen 1&2. Sound quality is good, not great but good, what do you expect from something so small, and for that I’m happy, overall look forward to them getting better and very happy with the purchase. Makes everyday work much more enjoyable .

The new Apple AirPods Pro are absolutely awesome! Prior to Apple introducing the soft tip I was not able to utilize only Apple earphone. I left my Bose soundSport Free earbuds on a plane and decide to research and test the new AirPods Pro and have been extremely happy with the fit, functionality, sound and overall performance. They provide a tight fit even during workouts. The integration with iOS devices is absolutely awesome. And the are extremely lightweight with a much stem than previous versions (don't look quite as obnoxious). Would highly recommend if $250 is in your budget.

I bought these for my husband as an upgrade to his older air pods. So far he loves them! The notice cancelling feature works so well that I literally had a whole (one sided) conversation with him and he had no idea I was even talking! When I tapped his shoulder he jumped and got startled. He said they fit very nicely in his ear and stay well and the battery lasts way longer than his old ones did. He uses them mostly while he’s on the phone so battery life was an important feature. So far these are definitely a 5 star purchase!

I have had these for at least 18 months now and they are still going strong with the original batteries. I even accidentally washed them in the washing machine and they still work! Noise cancelling is impressive for being an earbud style and the audio quality is quite good. It's obviously not as good as over the ear style headphones for noise cancellation or sound quality, but the tradeoff is in convenience and size especially when traveling.

Incredibly easy to pair with my iPhone and MacBook Air. The fit is tighter and more secure than I anticipated. I will still use by BeatsPro for workouts, outdoor activity, and extended drives when I want to jam on good music, but for Zoom meetings and work calls (when I sometimes have to wear readers), and when I know what I am doing will move from phone to laptop or vice versa, these are great. The noise cancelation is an extra bonus. BTW, bought them on sale, another extra bonus!
