I'm a big Apple fan, and I wanted a good reliable router so I bought this because it was an Apple product, it was customizable and supposedly easy to set up. I couldn't figure out how to use this a range extender with my Verizon FiOS router, so what I did is I turned off the wireless on the Verizon router and I now use this, hard wired to the Verizon router/modem. It works well and has better range than the Verizon one.

This is a very quick and effective way to setup a simple home network with all the guess work taken out of it. Just plug it in, follow a few simple steps and BINGO! you've setup a secure and reliable home network. This product is excellent for extending networks as well.

I connected this to not only boost the wifi signal in my backyard but also to connect to the outdoor stereo that controls my speakers around the pool and patio areas. I love being able to control my music, via my iPhone or iPad, and not having to get up and walk to the stereo itself.

Turn the wireless switch off on my DSL modem and plugged this in. Easy to set up. Works perfect. Printers and other devices do not "sleep" anymore. No resetting of modem anymore to wake devices. Highly recommended!

Bought this to extend the range of our airport time capsule, 20s house, plaster walls big rooms. I ran network cable through the basement and connected the express on the other side of our home. It was intuitive and easy and our wifi is sooooo much better throughout.

I bought this device when my Airport Extreme was having issues. My ISP was down for 3 days and when they brought service back, I did not reset my Extreme properly. I tried the "Soft" reset function, but was unaware of the "Hard" reset, BTW the hard reset is holding the reset button longer. Long story short when I brought this new Express home, it too did not work until I performed a Hard reset. But now that I have both working, I am able to Face Time 200 ft from outside my house without cut outs. I am able to walk almost my entire property without having to worry about signal loss. I love it and how easy it is is to use with Airport Utility.

I bought this to extend the wireless range of my AirPort Extreme. It is easy to set-up using the iPad app, and seems to work fine. It would be nice if it was AC instead of just N, but I doubt that my internet is fast enough to take advantage of the faster wireless.

This router is great. The setup is so easy it's practically plug and play. It has great range and I no longer have any dead spots in my house. The only complaint I have is that it's over priced like all apple products.

Added to my home network to extend the wireless signal very easily since I am already using the Apple Time Capsule. I now have complete coverage in my home and devices move from one unit to another without issue. Size, power consumption and quality of build can't be beat.

As always Apple delivered and this was a quick setup for my inlaws. I had the wireless network up and running in minutes and all the devices connected without any problems. Range is also great highly recommend specially if you don't want to deal with complex network setups

I'm using the AirPort Express as a WiFi router to feed a digital mixing console (Mackie) signal from my iPad in a restaurant setting. With the AirPort Utility App, it couldn't be easier to set up. Up and running in no time, signal strength is strong, even when I go outside.

I purchase two of these to extend my Apple WIFI networks. I have one in the garage setup with speakers, so when I am working in the garage, I can stream music via airplay. The other is setup for an internet connection for a PC. Both were easy to setup and work great.

Using as range extender for an Apple Time Capsule to boost the signal in the family room, downstairs on the far side of my house. Scored an Open Box price - item was as new, works as anticipated. Set-up was simple, but made the mistake of watching an out-of-date YouTube tutorial for directions (newer software since that vid) that made it unnecessarily complicated - user error. Oops.

This is a great product and is fairly easy to set up and fast. It was kind of hard to set it up at first because it wasn't picking it up on my iPad but I got out my computer and I had to log on to my school's network but after that had no problems and it wasn't that big of a deal. I really like it a lot it is fast and I like to have my own w-fi. It is also really great if you are invested in the apple ecosystem because you can air play audio to it. It is nice because I have speakers hooked up to it and send most of my audio to it and I share my printer on the network though the usb port. really great product!

I purchased this item to replace a Cisco wireless router that just stopped working. This was easy to hook up, and I love love love it, along with my Apple TV.

I'm not a techno geek or anything but I pride myself in researching the items I need before I purchase it. Got sick and tired of my WIFI being slow even though I'm paying for the fastest speed my cable provider offers, Also, weak signal and dropped connection during inactivity, heck, sometimes even when I'm in the middle of surfing the net. I just want something that will work and work well. Apple airport express did exactly just that. No bells and whistles just simply great connectivity, no slow downs and no dropped connection. Now I'm enjoying the high speed internet I pay my cable provider for.

I have a massive historic plantation estate that gets weak DSL in this area. The main house is over 200 years old and has 2 foot-thick stone walls, underground tunnels, etc., and this was virtually impossible for us to have a router in one part of the house and get a signal anywhere else. The Apple Express (I bought 4!) allowed me to expand the range of the signal from the Apple Extreme, but stand alone , they give great signal through the smaller 3 bedroom houses and the massive pool house on the estate. All you need is an iPhone or iPad to first set it up. Easy! Love this! Changed our lives....

I use this to extend my wifi network in dead zones. You won't be disappointed with an Airport express on every level of your house. And the additional LAN connect n the back makes it get even better so you can plug in a LAN cable required device.

If you use apple products, just get an airport express. Seriously. It'll work flawlessly with all of your devices and it has the simplest setup imaginable. I've had mine for years and am not going back to a complicated router.
