Customers consistently note the AirPort Express Base Station's ease of use, impressive range, and strong signal strength as significant benefits. Many appreciate its compact size and straightforward setup process, while seamless compatibility with Apple products is also frequently praised. However, some users find the price to be relatively high and express a desire for more ports. The device's performance is generally viewed favorably.

I lived in an apartment complex where there are plenty of wireless router in close vicinity. I had been using several brands and models, none of them were able to deliver the maximum WiFi speed with this crowded area. Apple Airport Express does it very well. I could get an average of 18 Mbps on 39 Mbps internet link.

I have an airport extreme and needed to extend the wifi signal in my house. I connected the airport express through an ethernet cable to the airport extreme. As soon as it was connected it pulled up on the iMac and walked me through the process. Could not have been easier

The setup was not explained well and had to make a few phone calls before making some adjustments. Still new to us so may change mind later.

This thing works great and I am thinking of expanding but I cannot find a Best Buy that has sales staff who can definitively tell me the workings and applications of the Apple Air lines. I am using this one to convert an older Sony receiver to an Air Play receiver that I can use out by my pool. It has great range.

I have several Apple products and my wife uses PC for work, she was unable to connect at home. So I picked up Airport Express. Very simple to install I plugged it in and it easily found my Airport and has given us great reception ever since. I'll be getting another for my basement to boost the signal there too!

Prefer the old school wall plug it replaced, but figured I'd purchase one to see if it is worth investing in replacing 2 remaining units. Not convinced and will probably invest in something else when the time comes. We'll have to see what Apple does with this line of products.

Great for apple products such as iPad iPhone itouch and Mac computers. Play music from anywhere in the house. If you download the remote app you can control your music from a computer that has iTunes. So you can play the music library through the speakers connected to it and control it via iPhone or iPad or itouch

I bought this over the Sonos connect. I ultimately returned it though however it worked really well. The reason I returned it is because it was too complicated to fire everything up unlike the Sonos connect. I used this for the auxiliary versus the wireless router capability.

With two choices of hardware, the Best Buy associate cleared up last minute questions, and the product hooked up like she said. The only point not mentioned was that the wi-fi router already in place needed to be rebooted to accept the new AIrPort base station... no big deal.

I purchased this thinking it would hook up to my external hard drive through usb. It doesn't. It will only connect usb to a printer. I returned it because of this. This was not the fault of the machine, but the salesman who told me it would hook up to an external drive. I replaced it with the Time Capsule.

For a router being uneventful is a good thing. I have three of these and they all work without a hitch. I bridge them or rather "extend" my network with these and the setup is about 1 minute from power-on to fully setup. I have added router on an as needed basis and they just work.

I use the Airport Express with my Ipod touch to stream music over wifi. The Apple application make set up easy and connecting very easy. The audio out put goes directly to my stereo with no other devices needed. It has a flawless connection all throughout the house and 100's of feet away outside.

There isn't much to say, if your home is smaller than 1800 square feet and not too awkwardly constructed you will find that this router provides a dependable, lightning fast, and reliable wireless connection. I've owned this router for over a year now and haven't had to reset or reconfigure it at all.

I purchased the Airport Express after an evening at a friend's home where they had Pandora streaming through their Bose speakers throughout the night. My husband and I both loved it. Went out and purchased it the next day and have been enjoying it ever since. You will not be sorry you bought this item!

I've used basically everything out there and I have had the least problems with the Apple network products. Add an Extreme as your main router/wap and Expresses where you need a boost and your good to go. I would recommend wiring the Expresses if at all possible to maximize wifi network speed.
