Bought this to amplify/extend the wifi signal to my room which is on the opposite side of the house(where the main router is located). It works amazing! So glad I bought it! Exactly what I needed!

Setting-up the device was as easy as connecting it to my modem and following a few AirPort prompts on my Mac. In addition to acting as a router the device has a 3.5mm jack for speakers so I could play music from the router from any device in my apartment. I cant speak to the range of the device since I live in an apartment, but the walls are thick and the device easily reaches every room (30 foot radius). My Android phone and PC had no problem connecting to the router either. The device retails for $100 so try to purchase it on sale or with coupons or reward zone points. Comparable N-routers retail for about $50-$70 but they are harder to set-up, take up more space, and consume more powe

Upgraded from linksys wrt54g after it started needing twice a week resets. Airport extreme worked so well when i moved into a bigger space i bought another and linked with a cat 6 cable. Can stream HD no lag on ps3 when its down a level and three rooms away from the cable modem. Very pleased with purchase. One item of note: my ease of use is based on owning an ipad with the airport utility. It made set up super easy. Never tried with a pc so i cant comment on that specifically.

Glad I bought Airport express. I was having dead wifi spots on part of my house. Set-up was very easy and wifi is now excellent in all parts of my home. Excellent product.

I decided to get a router so I don’t have to pay the extra money for WiFi and I’m glad I got this one! It’s small and works just as good as any other router, if not better

This is my second airport express. I bought this one to use in a small office suite. Installation and setup literally takes only minutes and once set up the unit needs no further attention. I have an airport extreme as the main router in my home and previously purchased an airport express unit to extend that wifi to a hard to reach area. Again, the setup for the extension of the existing network was simple, taking only minutes, and it is maintenance free after setup.

This small machine lets you play music anywhere. Its great int he bedroom. We even have one in the living room and use Pandora and radio.com among other music apps. We use our ipad as the remote and vola!! Excellent concept.

Purchased as a wifi extender. I wanted something easy to set up. Set-up finished in less than 5 minutes, and surprise... Everything worked.

this is great edition to my home network, very useful with my iPhone, apple tv, mac mini, and macbook. couldn't get any better with airplay feature for wireless speakers! hooray for apple!!

Very easy to setup. I use Time Warner and it took approximately 24hrs to get a solid consistent green light. Not sure if it was the ISP or the modem. But, has worked great since then.

I have had other routers in the pass and at least one a week I would have to unplug them and then plug them back up to get on the Internet. With this router, I no longer have to do that.

As an audio/visual contractor, I often use the Apple Express to extend the wi-fi signal from the Extreme. Together they are installed on all jobs and work very well with Sonos equipment.

I've had issues with all my previous routers over the years. I don't know why I didn't purchase this unit sooner. Works great. I've had it for a few months now and have not had one issue.

It's amazing that such a small device without any external antennas can be so powerful. I have three access points in my home and this is by far the strongest signal. Highly recommend !

Currently used as a wireless bridge in a room that needed a wired connection for a DVR. It's also great as a travel router due to its small size. I can't recommend this device enough.

I used this to extend a wireless network. Easy, intuitive installation process. Doesn't integrate with non-Apple wireless routers. Only other AirPort and Time Capsule units will connect with this, so if you're looking to extend a Linksys or NetGear-based network, you're out of luck here. Also allows you to connect a USB printer to your network and play music through its built-in AirPlay capability, underused resources both. This also will work as a stand-alone router for a small area. Another use - connect your cellphone's microcell to your wireless network. Non-Apple wireless devices have no trouble connecting to Apple AirPort-based wireless networks.

I bought this product to strengthen our signal downstairs and I have not regretted it a single day... I wish I had purchased it earlier!

This is the easiest small wireless network device that I have ever used. So very easy to repeat a network as well. Very well written network.
