Apple makes it so easy to use their products. Set up is a no-brainer and the compact size will fit anywhere and is virtually unnoticeable. Very adequate for my small 2 story home. Performs great anywhere in the house.

Really love the Apple routers and this newer Airport Express performs perfectly in a fairly large area. Its especially nice that it is an Air Play music access point as well - plug it into a receiver or a set of speakers and send your iTunes or iPhone music right to it!

Needed to expand reach when devices increased. This was easy to set up and deploy.

I had a router, that will remain un-named, that was relatively new. I decided to give the AirPort Express a chance. For the money, the risk was relatively low. This thing is very reliable and is just plain fast. I am really enjoying this product.

It took maybe a max of 5 minutes to set up and have my whole house connected to the internet. All of my apple products work even better now with the addition of this. Able to stream from my iphone, ipad and macbook pro with out a problem!! Dont know what I didnt get one sooner!!

I use router with an AirPort Extreme. Easy to install and simply works without issues.

Overall, very satisfied. This device easily extended the range of my existing system very nicely. It was very easy to install and works seamlessly with my existing system. It has really made a difference in my overall wi-fi range and signal strength.

So, the airport express. I bought it because I recently moved into a new house with some friends, with a detached garage- in fact it's all the way across the yard. Anyway, we had plans to turn our garage into a theater/hang out, because its massive and there's virtually no living space in our house AND we don't care too much about the 2 sh*tty cars we have, anyway. So the plan was to find a fat, old hdtv that is huge, stick it in the garage on a workbench, hook up my xbox360 and buy a few couches. Trouble is, my xbox360 isn't one of the newer, black ones with the wifi thing included, so to do any xbox live, or netflix (for our "theater"), we would need to buy a wifi adapter or send an ethernet cable across the yard. So I looked around, and I just kind of stumbled upon the airport express. I had recently bought a MacBook Pro and have been pleased to the 9's with it, so naturally I'm kind of eager to see what else Apple has to offer me with their clever and clearly brilliant products. The airport express now sits in my garage and acts as a wifi extender and receiver and an extension of our sound system. Now, in our garage, my xbox is connected to the internet using the ethernet out port on the airport express. If you sit in our garage with a smart phone or laptop, or tablet, you have 100% great wifi. AND, this part I didn't know when I was buying it, but it has an audio out port (1/8") on the back, you can sync up your mac, as long as you are on the same wifi network, and whatever your mac is playing through itunes, it will sync up and play through whatever is connected on the other end of the airport express... pretty cool if you ask me. For being right about $100 and being able to not only help me out with my initial intent, this thing is pretty cool and if I had a small business or a huge house someday or I could justify buying another, I would- these things are pretty cool. the only downside I've found, is sometimes the internet speed isn't so great- and the cool audio out thing isn't compatible with other programs, just iTunes- which for someone who is huge into music, but doesn't use iTunes all that much, is kind of a bummer. It looks like maybe you can set it up, but that part isn't so clear and easy (and I'm a sound engineer and musician and A/V tech. professionally.)

Got this unit to replace a unstable router I previously purchased. Surprisingly is rock solid and have never needed to restart it even having kids constantly using web streaming like Netflix. The unit was recommended by a store representative and I wish to have extra money to get the Time Capsule version. This router works as well with non-apple devices such as Kindle, PCs, Roku, WD Live TV, etc.

I bought this for my Son's college room to get wifi and and connect- he has not had any issues and streams movies, games, music and I am sure he is using for homework and research as well. It is small and works perfectly for our needs.

Easy to install. Solved our our problem of our Internet dropping signal immediately.
