Excellent device to add to your network
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great product. Bought it to extend the wireless range of my AirPort Extreme. Set up took 15 minutes and now I can print wirelessly and have access across my whole apartment. I can also airplay to the speakers I connected to the express without any issue. Be aware that you cannot use the Airport Express to extend the range of a non-apple router or access point. Highly recommend both as a standalone AP or as a range extender for time capsule or AirPort Extreme.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very easy to set up. Works well. I have had it a month and it hasn't went out at all.I really like how small it is compared to other routers. Barely takes up any space on my desk.

Great Airport Express Station
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchase the Apple Airport express because the last one I bought about 20 years ago finally needed updating. Still sleek design. Hook up was simple. Went quick and smoothly. No additional cables were required. Basically unplugged old unit and plugged in new unit and turned on. Everything came on and has been working perfectly every since. I love Apple products even though they cost more.

Apple Quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second AirPort Express. I used the original one that was released for so long that it eventually stopped functioning. No hesitation to grab a new model. Love the new design and now it comes with a cord. It works great and is a breeze to set up. Highly recommended.

Excellent
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is one of the best routers you can buy. We already have an airport extreme and purchased this to extend to the other end of the house. Very very easy to set up and has never let us down. I would recomend this product to everyone. Keeps your system secure,no lag,and is able to handle many wifi devices at the same time. We run 3 TV streming systems, such as roku, apple TV and a fire stick plus ipads and iphones, and a printer and computer simultaneously. So yes this router works great!

Very reliable access point
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use the Airport express to extend my network via wifi to the rest of my house. If you own an Airport Extreme you can use the express as a wifi repeater which is very handy. If you have another router brand you have to plug in to the express via Ethernet cable in order to extend the network. I like the ability to use "bridge mode" which essentially acts as a switch only and will receive dhcp addresses from your existing router so there are no ip addressing conflicts. It is a very reliable piece of equipment which requires minimal attention. The only complaint I have is it is only Wireless-n and not ac. There is a handy iphone/ipad "airport" app that allows for easy setup and even reboot the device if needed.

Best range extender I've used
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use the Airport Express Base Station as a range extender for my home office to provide solid connections wirelessly and peace of mind, it gives me this and more. Not only does it provide the extended range into the outskirts of the house, but the range spreads through the garage/shop space and backyard as well. The AirPort Utility app is a cool way to view and follow up to the connection status as well.

Perfect way to extend my WiFi network
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product does exactly what it says on the box. I could not be more pleased with the whole experience of installing, configuring and using it. It just works. I came into Best Buy wanting to extend my WiFi network to my garage and second floor bedroom. I planned to use a PowerLine extension for that purpose, thinking that would be the most reliable means. But after seeing pictures on the boxes of components clearly connected by hard wires yet described with WiFi words like "beam-forming" and "MIMO", I gave up. Do these devices produce a WiFi signal or not? In full frustration, I bought the Airport Express, knowing that it would work. I took it home, plugged it into a power strip next to my computer, and configured it with Airport Utility in less than five minutes. I then plugged it into the wall in the bedroom above the garage, and found a solid 5 bars of WiFi signal everywhere in the house, including the former 1 bar corners of my garage. Connection to WiFi-connected devices in the garage (Chamberlain garage door opener, Symphony furnace interface and Skydrop irrigation controller) is now quick and rock solid. Without the Airport Express, I could be standing right next to one of those devices and either fail to connect or lose my connection. With the Airport Express, I could be anywhere in the world and check my garage door, sprinklers or HVAC system with complete reliability.

Fast wifi/internet speed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our old router stopped working after only 1 year and decided to purchase a more reliable router so we purchased this apple airport router since we've had luck with apple products in the past. For the most part it was fairly easy to install, we did have to call apple support towards the end, they have "excellent" customer service. The speed is quite faster than our old router and so far I am very impressed and happy with this router, I just hope it lasts longer than the old one.

Excellent wifi router!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As always, I read a ton of reviews trying to decide which wifi router to purchase. I am a loyal Apple consumer so decided to drive to the nearest Best Buy (30 miles away) to buy this. I was unsure whether this was going to be sufficient for our 2000 square foot home + 0.5 acre property but decided it was worth a shot. I am so happy I went with the Express (vs. the Extreme). I get a signal everywhere in my home, on my property, as well as in my in-laws home across the street. Highly recommend this product and basically anything else made by Apple, lol :)

Easy as Apple Pie
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easiest router I've ever set up and managed. Easy to access for changes from my Mac and iPhone - I don't need to use the computer it's physically tied to in order to make changes. If you have teenagers (or users that act like defiant teenagers) it's easy to make changes, hide the network or simply rename it and change passwords in just a couple of minutes. If you're Mac is tied to the router, the name changes and passwords will follow so you're not suddenly without access once changes are saves and router is restarted. Same with your iPhone. And, this works brilliantly with my wife's windows 8 laptop and my windows 7 desktop I use for work. Plenty of signal strength - we get reception to our patio and far end of the house where our kids' rooms are located (hence the noted ease of use to change the network name and/or passwords or just hide it altogether). I use the guest network for my kids. If they won't sign off, I'll just get onto the router and shut off guest access and listen for cries of despair as their phones or net books are kicked offline.
