The Express is larger then the previous version but much more functional. It's very fast with dual simultaneous bands plus the ability to offer a guest network keeping your LAN separate and private. I use this Express to extend my network from an Extreme router and setup was simple. I have used another Vendors product for years and I can't say enough good about the Apple,s product.

Easy to set up. My phone recognized the Express and connected it to my Apple Extreme tower. Love how fast all my technology works now.

I have a time capsule in a back room, but needed a way to connect security dvr to wifi without having to get in attic and run cables. Solution: use airport express. When you setup with airport utility, it asks if you want to use as a network extender. Then sets up with same parameters as the time capsule. Plugged dvr directly into airport express and it now has a network connection! Simple setup right out of the box. You can do this to connect a remotely located printer as well plus you have another access point for wifi.

I used this to extend my wireless network through my whole house. Set up was a breeze. Signal is Excellent. Speed is awesome too!

Easy to configure, Using is as an AirPlay interface for stereo. Great to be able to stream music from phone or computer to stereo.

Something so little actually has a lot of power. We bought this for the purpose of extending our AirPort Extreme's signal. This little guy does exactly as advertised with absolutely zero problems. The signal is never dropped and it preforms really well. We sometimes use it while traveling to make our own private network as well. I highly recommend all Apple routers and especially this one. 5 out of 5

It almost shocking to see how much better my existing wi fi network performs after installing airport express. The speed tests performed showed a significant boost in both download and upload speeds. And there is no longer a problem with the number of connected devices - generally about a dozen connected and never an issue with connectivity or speed.

This is a great router, it has great speed even for my DSL. The set up was very simple. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

I use this with my Airport Time Capsule and it works great for extending my wifi connection in my house. Strongly recommend this for users with Mac computers

Simple plug in funtion. Easy configuration using any apple device. Good range. Works without any glitches. Highly recommended.

This little router can be installed as a network extender in about 5 minutes. Plus, the audio jack can be used near a sound system to provide streaming audio from any machine with iTunes via "AirPlay". Super reliable, no problems with dropouts. 802.11N speeds, very cool.

Was pretty straight forward on set up. However I would not recommend as a wap or extender. Does great job as AirPlay decice

I purchased this to provide Wi-Fy connectivity for a Mackie dl1608 mixing console. It sets up easily and quickly, iPads and iPhones connect flawlessly with absolutely no hassle or setup issues. It is a little more pricey than others in its class but I'm convinced that it's worth the price. It has been totally trouble free and very user friendly.

This is my second air-port express. The first one lasted over 12 years! Great speed, it connects fast. Super easy to set up!

I had terrible WiFi reception in my room. I have an Apple Time Capsule as my router and haven't had luck extending my WiFi range with non Apple products. Finally decided to pay the extra cash and try using the Airport Express as an extender. Works great so far. I have full reception in bathroom and on my bed which were both spots my iPhone would switch to Cellular data. So far so good!

This replaced an airport I bought a decade earlier and the range and ease of use exceeded it in every way. Very happy.

The Apple Airport Express Base Station is an easy to install, economical router extender that I used to extend the wireless signal to parts of my house that are far from my wireless router. It is great to use in a large house like mine that is three levels and about 8000 square feet. One device installed about 100 feet from my wireless router covered the far side of my house.
