I bought this airport from my local Best buy store. My old airport finally gave up. I needed something now and didn't want to wait for ordering on line. Best buy price matched a online business which saved me about six dollars. It's not a lot but it covered part of the tax and I have it now. Went home and had it running in about 15 minutes. Simple hook up and set up. Works awesome and it has better range than my old airport.

These things are awesome. I've had a couple in the last decade, and they are pretty brain-dead simple to set up. I've had other wifi routers, but this one kills them all, I'll never try another linksys or netgear one again. Life is too short. Are there cheaper devices? Oh yea, but they are CHEAPER for a reason. Spend the extra coin and get this one. Turn it on. Click a few buttons. It works. Go surf the net like a pro. You deserve it. Got a big house? Get an airport express to go with it and extend your wifi almost as easily as you can say "I want to extend my wireless network!" Yeah, they are really easy to use.

I bought this AirPort Extreme to replace an earlier version of the same equipment that was damaged by a lightening strike. The setup is very simple and straightforward and it can be bridged with other Apple Airport Express's to extend your network without having to have a separate network and login. The 802AC really shows it's speed when using newer model iPads and iPhones.

I'm not very technical and was concerned regarding setup--literally took less than 10 minutes total and wifi works almost as fast as when I'm wired. Great product!

Bought this thinking I needed to replace my older Airport. Connected and worked awesome, just ended up not needed it as the underlying problem was with my modem.

These are great routers and super easy to set up. I have two linked and can cover my house and backyard easily. I also have a drive connected to one for use as a shared drive and for Time Machine backups. That said, you can only configure these with an Apple product using the AirPort Utility app running on a iPhone, iPad, or a computer running OSX.

I use to have the Internet go down intermittently. Because of my previous router. Since purchasing the airport extreme it has never went down, always a strong signal.

Updated my other router I had for almost 2 years. Really like this one. I use all apple products so I thought I would try this. Easy to set up. Happy with product.

I had tried other wi-fi devised without much success, or at least varying degrees. The Airport gives consistent connectivity throughout our 5000 square foot home.

Replaces a NVG510 from AT&T. Range is excellent throughout 2 bedroom apartment with a huge living room. Haven't experienced any disconnections or loss of signal.

A friend suggested I buy my own router and modem to increase the quality of Wi-Fi. I must say that I am now getting the fastest Internet I've ever had before.

From my study there may be other routers more powerful and with special options that are not included on the Apple. However, for basic WI-FI it works well and sets up essentially automatically in my Apple computer home network, a real bonus for a technically challenged senior.

I bought this for my office. I have 3 computers that are shared. I was having problems with my internet in the afternoons. Called my internet company and they told me it was my router so I went and bought this one. I went with wireless so I could connect with my IPAD also. I installed it myself which is pretty amazing since I know nothing about computers except how to turn them on. It connected to my IPAD very fast.

Incredibly easy to set-up. Fast and provides a strong constant signal within the whole house. Looks clean and solid. Look no further. Very happy and recommend.

After years of frustration with various Linksys routers, I decided to pay up and get the Airport Extreme. I was nervous about the lack of buttons and somewhat limited instructions, but once setup, all concerns were forgotten. Super easy setup and the Airport Utility is a great snapshot of what is going on in your home network. Speeds are extremely fast, even with an 802.11n connection. Highly recommended!
