Our new wireless router is great. The speeds are fantastic and we never have to wait for any of our devices to buffer streaming videos! The device is a bit large compared to the airport express, but set-up was a breeze and the performance is the best!

I confess to being an Apple bigot, but the reasons why are also found in this Airport Extreme. Yes, I know it is more expensive than competitive routers, but for that money you get leading edge technology, it is a piece of cake to set up, and it just works. It's highly reliable and it gives me one less thing to worry about.

I needed a wireless router and I had an airport express. These are the most simple routers on the market. We live in a two story 2300 sqft house and it reaches all corners. Far away it has some drop in speed but still pumps it out. Everything pairs very easy. It is a must by if you are in the market for a router. Go get it!

Installed in a 2 story, approx 3500 sq ft. house and I have WiFi in all the right places. I love the interaction with apple devices, even though I have it connected to a PC and have friends who use Droids without issue. It has exceeded my expectations.

I was having issues with my last router for signal in and around the house. I changed over to this apple router and I now have a better range and my signal strength improved! And it has a nice modern look!

It's an Apple product so you get what you expect. Guessing if you're not an Apple fan you'll stay away; however, if you own a few Apple products this is a good choice for you. On top of looking good on a shelf or desk, this was easy to set up. Took no extra software or hardware to get it running and when it did, the performance has been consistent. I've owned this for about a month now and it hasn't let us down. The Air Port is downstairs and while the bedrooms are upstairs, the signal is strong. I'm very satisfied with this so far. My only concern is that it is the price. it's expensive and there are other choices. But this apartment consists of only Apple devices and this purchase just made sense to keep things the same.

I had an ASUS router and couldn't get signal on the other side of my house. I thought about getting extender, but then realized that I could see my neighbor's wifi everywhere in my house. I asked him hat he was using and he pointed me towards this. Easy to setup and great signal in every room in my house now.

Great router, I get great connectivity and speed with this router. However, I upgraded from the previous Airport Extreme and the performance seems the same. I do have a new MacBook Air with the wireless ac connection, but with my internet speeds, I haven't noticed an increase. This is a great router if you are upgrading from any other brand, if you already have an older Airport, I don't think the upgrade is worth it. For some, the simultaneous dual band may prove to be worthwhile. Setting up the Airport Routers have to be easier than any other company. With the airport utility offered for Mac OS X and Windows, getting it up and running with whatever security settings you need is a snap, and shouldn't take longer than 5 minutes!

I needed a router for its range since I live in a 3 story home. Its performance is superb compared to what I had been using. I had some problem setting it up though and needed help from Tech Support. I have not had any problems with it since.

I would revere anyone to purchase this. Very easy to set up. It was wonderful after we had bought 3 different routers and they were hard to set up and did not do what we were told they would.....so we are extremely happy with this AirPort Extreme .

We live in an average single story, 1500 sq ft, older home and wifi signal has always been an issue. My previous routers were both $100 netgears and I was lucky to get one bar of signal in living room and no signal at all in the kitchen (router is in spare bedroom/office). I had to rest router weekly because it would get bogged down, run slow and cell phones would not connect. With the Apple AirPort router I get full strength signal in every room of the house, no dropped connections and I haven't had to restart it once! We have windows and Mac laptops and everything runs smoothly, I can even manage it from an app on my phone or iPad. Worth every penny, only wish I would have bought it sooner!

I replaced a Cisco router that was frequently locking up and required resetting multiple times per week. Since installing several weeks ago the Airport Extreme I have not had to reboot yet. I also have fewer dropouts and missing devices incidents with my Airtunes network (4 devices). Highly recommended.

Set it up to daisy chain with the Airport Express. Now my house has full coverage upstairs and down. Never drops devices. Excellent speed. Only downside is it's far more expensive than competitors.

I have owned 7 different routers. The Apple Airport Extreme is the best one yet. It was by FAR the easiest to set up, especially since I have a Mac. The Apple has a lot better range and speed than the Cisco Linksys it replaced.

This router is the best most reliable one ive ever used. Its compatable withall my apple devices. Great speeds abd no buffering!

Easy to setup and config using a Apple Mac or Apple iOS device. Software is available for Windows. Range is excellent, better than the Apple Airport Express, Updates are easy to apply using the AirPort Utility Application. Range can be extended using the Apple Airport Express or another Airport.

Apple delivers on ease of installation of the Airport Extreme router. It took me only three minutes to complete with the installation utility to set up my network comprising a PC and two Macs. The speed of this router is far superior to what my ISP offers, no dropouts either. A great buy.

Went into Best Buy with a different product in mind and left with This. Glad I did , and glad the associates knew what I needed to have a successful network at home. Fast, No Downtime , EZ Setup and did I mention fast? Movies, Gaming, Streaming and Work all run @ same time and no LAG....

Great little device. A little pricey, but that's the apple tax you pay. Easy to set up and connect all devices. More advanced features like manually setting QOS or bandwidth limits are not available. To get this granular, you will need a different device. For simple setup and use, this is great. It would be greater if the cost was lower.

Had an issue with my old Belkin N+ router and needed to replace it. Did some research on different routers on various sites and this seemed to get the best reviews. An apple employee that was headed put the door sealed the deal for me. Works great, easy to setup and no outages so far.
