Even though it is last year's model, this Apple Watch (Series III) with Cellular, still amazes me and surprises my friends with how well it works. After years of never allowing myself to be more than a few feet from my iPhone, I can now go almost anywhere without it and only barely miss it because I can still get (and make) calls, texts and emails. In fact, if you did not need an iPhone to make one work (an unfortunate shortcoming, even with the cell enabled model), you could probably do quite well withOUT owning a phone, so long as you had a cellular connected tablet to take with you when needed. My biggest complaint about the watch is that it does not pair with other types of devices and work as a wifi hotspot, since these two features would mostly eliminate the need for a pricey additional device. If for no other reason, this watch has improved my productivity by keeping me more punctual and less forgetful about time. The reason is that I set timers and reminders 3 or 4 times more often than before because doing so is remarkably fast and easy by speaking into the watch. The heartbeat monitor appears accurate for me 80% of the time within about 5 bpm, which I think is within an acceptable margin of error, and it charges so quickly that I can wear it all day and night and charge it in the morning when I am showering and getting dressed. I doubt that it will be more than a couple of more years before most people look strangely at anyone who wears an antiquated non-smart watch, in light of how useful and bug free the Apple Watch has become, and one presumes other manufacturers' watches will soon be. In fact, I recently sold an expensive mechanical watch because this watch has convinced me that in the near future brandishing it will signal approximately as much social status as answering a flip phone or listening to a headphone radio with a telescoping antenna. Bottom line, if I did not own an iPhone, I would switch just so that I could take advantage of this device until the competition catches up.

For those considering an Apple Watch, I highly recommend it if you work out often. Although I’m typically a big Apple fan, I originally went with a Fitbit Blaze to save money. Don’t get me wrong, the Blaze was okay, but it was limited in terms of apps and functions. The Blaze allows receive texts, calls, and emails but you can’t reply. The Fitbit app allows you to use your phone’s GPS whereas the Apple Watch has it built-in. The Blaze also tends to have issues connecting with your phone and always seems to need an update. I’ve had the Apple Watch for nearly a month and experienced no issues with software or connecting with my phone. The best feature of the cellular option is the freedom to leave your phone at home and still receive calls, texts, emails, notifications, etc. Also, my purchase was an “open-box” item, which means someone returned it for whatever reason. Don’t worry, it is vetted by the Geek squad before being resold. My item was practically brand new, wiped clean and zero blemishes. I ended up saving over $100. Lastly, there are so many apps and watch face customizations available to suit your needs. Overall, absolutely satisfied with this purchase.

I recently switched over to Iphone due to my daughter and wife having iphones and wanted us all in one mobile eco system. I also wanted a better watch to replace my Gear S3. I can honestly say it just works better and I really do think Find Friends works better than other location service on android I've used. Apple is really good of making their products work without hardly any hiccup. I do not regret switching from Samsung Note 8 and Gear S3 even though they were amazing products and do rival apple. My only applewatch 3 negative for me personally is that screen is way smaller than what Gear S3 had for my old eyes. I really bought this watch to help me thru gps, fitness, automation, meditation, messaging phone calls, notifications etc. which Gear S3 didn't come close to what this watch can do. I love being able to control my smart thermostats and devices thru Siri. that being said i will most likely return it as i think applewatch 4 is a better alternative for me because of screen size.

I love my Apple Watch. I wear and use it everyday. I like the activity tracking that it offers. I mainly lift weights, ride an bike indoors and jog outside. Using the activity app that comes with the watch is super easy. I also use the Nike app for when I jog and slightly prefer that. I also used Run Keeper too. Swiping is easier now with the updated insides. No jutter or jack. My bluetooth connection is excellent too. I have used the cellular capabilities too and I have not complaints. It was nice to be able to receive texts, emails and phone calls while out on a jog. Phone calls are good as long as you are not in a loud environment. I use siri a lot on this watch, especially for setting timers and alarms that I need at my work. I love being able to control my music through the watch to. What I like most about this watch is that I am no longer tied to my phone. I can leave it on a table go about what I need to do and not worry about missing a text, email or phone call, they all come to my watch.

Was actually able to get this watch..Nike 42mm S3 (last one!) at my local Best Buy! (No waiting or preordering!?..I got lucky!!! I’ll admit! Lol) and fired it up and noticed cellular connection problems?? (The Hiccup!) Took it to apple store (couldn’t take it back for replacement..I got last one remember) And the lte (cellular) chip?.. Was bad?! So was only connecting like a series 1-2. But only waited about 2 1/2 days for new one! (Not bad!?) Anyway fired and paired right up With my iPhone 8+ Yes updated my phone when I bought watch lol (from a 7+) Works great with Verizon! Picked my kid up from school no problems! (About 4-5 miles away) Only problem so far that i noticed was I lost connections at my local Target?....maybe a new update will fix/make signal stronger? (Still new product) But definitely very happy with it! And won’t take it off unless to charge!! And looks great! Thank you once again Apple!

I was a bit apprehensive about replacing my FitBit with an Apple Watch, but it has been a great decision! It has all of the functionality of the Charge HR it replaced plus a lot of additional features that really make a difference. I like the ability to customize many of the Apple Watch’d features which was unavailable with my FitBit. I have yet to activate the cellular service on the Apple Watch, but i don’t think it is 100% necessary. The Apple Watch with cellular capability is worth the extra money solely for the additional storage space. I was able to load every app with Watch features I had on my phone onto my Apple Watch with plenty of room to spare for everything else I could want.

I owned the series 0 Apple watch and skipped the upgrade on the series two holding out for a watch that could be used independently from my iPhone. Finally my hopes and dreams came true this year. I was never expecting full independence from the phone but to be able to do small trips with out lugging my 7 plus along has been almost as awesome as the fist time i went grocery shopping without my kids. Im glad apple finally made an LTE capable smart watch. I will be bypassing the phone upgrade for both the 8 and X. but i am more than happy with the purchase of this Apple Watch.

I bought one of the first editions but hated the watch and sold it soon after buying. Went to Best Buy to look at the new Garmin (have the fenix 5x which I love and while there went over to look at the 3 series Apple and a terrifically patient and knowledgeable sales associate (Christina) walked me thru the functions of the watch and I bought it the next day. When I got it home the simplicity of operating was stunning and being more than a tad behind the times on all things techie this watch has performed waaaaaay beyond my expectations. And again I cannot tell you how impressed I am with the sales associates at Best Buy and the usability of the series 3.

Love my apple watch. I use it when i work out. I am also a golfer and I use the golf now app to help me with distances when I am playing golf. There are so many things about this watch that I love. I purchased the Nike version with cellular, however I am not a runner and have not used the Nike app. I have also noticed that I don't have as good of cellular service on the watch as I do with my phone. However, i usually have my phone with me, so it hasn't really bothered me. I have used it swimming and have had no problems putting my watch in the water. I am lost when I am not wearing the watch. I am a big user and only have to charge the watch once every two days.

At first I was skeptical about this watch. I first bought the non cellular version, liked it a lot so I upgraded to the cellular version within a few days. I have had a few fitbits over the past 4 or 5 years and wanted to try something different. It took me a little while to figure out how the notifications worked with my phone, but once I learned how they worked I was good to go. The battery life will get me through 2 days if I want. I have purchased a sleep app to track my sleep and it works similar to the fit bit. Overall I would say if you have the funds get the Apple Watch over another fitbit.

Great product! Like the fact that you don’t have to sign up right away for the cellular plan when you purchase it. Very sleek looking and with the Nike version you can track your running with the Nike Run Club app installed on your watch. I would recommend getting the Apple Care protection when purchasing it. My first Apple Watch I purchased through Best Buy did not have it and a year later my screen digitizer cracked. It would cost over 200 to fix!

Having finally fully set up my watch with the cellular service, I must say that I am impressed with the device. It has exceeded all my expectations coming from the original Apple Watch. The kicker for me was the cellular option which will be an added plus for business and recreation. Not having to carry my phone for an emergency makes all the difference in the world. Especially since a lot of the time I do not have a way to carry one with me. Time will tell about the water resistance, but so far I am very satisfied

I've always been a fan of the Apple Watch and have rocked the Series 1 for a few years now. I was very excited to hear that Apple came out with one with cellular. There are times where I like to leave my phone at home to go grocery shopping or run other errands and feel like I've disconnected from the world for a bit. It's nice to be able to obtain that feeling with this new watch by being able to leave my phone at home but still be connected just in case someone needs me for an emergency.

I have been waiting for smart watches to adopt cell technology. Once Apple released this product I was ready! Everything about the watch is amazing... The only down side is the battery but not bad. I typically get two solid days and half of the third. The watch changes your life over time. It allows you not to be attached to your phone every second of the day!

Purchased this for my grown son's birthday present. I had replaced my old Fitbit Blaze with an Apple Watch a couple of months ago and I love it. He kept admiring mine and I planned to gift him one. I went with the cellular model as he in in construction and I thought it would be helpful to not have to have his phone always with him. He loves it! it stands up to his tough lifestyle. Now I wish I had gotten the cellular model for myself!

I had one of these in the long purchase queue at Apple, not scheduled to arrive until November. Got a tip that Best Buy might have one, turns out Chicago Ridge was the only location with the model I wanted. So, I made the 90-minute drive there and back to get it. Well worth the effort. It allows me to make quick runs without my phone but still be in touch. Can also leave phone put away in my classroom (I’m a teacher) but still know who’s texting or calling :)

Very happy with my purchase even tho I still have a lot to learn! I bought a screen cover to protect my watch and it still responds to my fingers, I also bought a different watch band as I am not a fan of the silicone band it came with, and switching it out was so easy! I love all the things this Watch is capable of doing without having to have my phone on me, I am very happy with my purchase!

I am loving my AppleWatch. I use the Nike Run as well as the different workouts available to track all my exercise. I also love the breathe app! But of course this watch is so much more- I can use as my phone, read and send messages and emails, and so on. It’s very user friendly, too! But what I really like is that I feel safer when on a run and I can call for help or my watch has emergency information, and I don’t have to carry my phone.

I bought this as a gift for my husband, who would never buy it himself. He thought his iPhone was enough and it was an unnecessary purchase. Now between working out with the Nike App, asking Siri questions, using it to talk-to-text and check emails, he never takes it off. Buying the additional line with out wireless carrier also allows him to leave his phone while doing yard work, walking the dogs or running, and never be disconnected.

The Apple watch was purchased to help with increasing responsiveness to client e-mails and texts, and has fulfilled the goal quite well. When on a client site my phone is on silent, so if I'm there for a protracted length of time I wouldn't always be aware of incoming communications. Now, I get a flash on my watch and/or a slight vibration. It's helped me response to critical issues at couple of clients faster than I would have.
