    Great smart watch

To start I was very skeptical about purchasing this watch even though I own and love several Apple products. I wasn't sure if a watch was a necessity. My primary reason for purchasing this watch was for fitness tracking. I figured If I am going to spend the money on a fitness tracker I might as well purchase an Apple Watch because I can use several application versus one like you get with a Fitbit. Very satisfied and impressed with the capability of this watch. Before purchasing just remember the watch is not meant to be used like a phone, its for quick glances. I find myself using my phone less because I do not have to pick up my phone to reply to a text message or even answer a call if I chose. Apple did an excellent job with this product and I have not experienced any issues, including speed problems, after having it for 3 weeks. The battery life of the watch is not great. Depending on what I use it for determines the amount of charging that needs to happen but it is not really an issue if you charge smartly. The primary battery killer is the heart rate. Monitoring. On a normal day when I am not exercising or monitoring my sleep patterns, it can make it a full day. On other days when I do both I incorporate a charge when I take a shower or working at my desk. You get a full charge at the rate of 1% per minute so it is easy to incorporate a charge within you lifestyle patterns when the watch is not needed. The design of the watch is great. It looks good on the wrist not bulky like I thought it would be and is very comfortable to wear. I also like the fact that I can change the bands rather quickly. On a daily basis I have the normal sports band on but when I go to business meetings I change the band to something more professional. It takes less than a minute to change the band making me want to purchase additional bands.

No real special features over the other Apple products. I thought the watch band would be reflective or something cool and have some items worth the investment over the normal Apple watch. I have an exercise function on the phone I prefer. I have been mad a couple times with stuff not shutting down properly. Etc. But a nice watch. I wish I could run pandora on it. And really wish you could delete the stupid stuff you don’t want or use on it. All in all. I like it. If I could do it over. THe normal Apple Watch is the same besides watch band is velcro and has a Nike stamp.

I’ve been using a series 1 Apple Watch for a few years and held off until Christmas to upgrade to a Series 3. My wife and I bought them for Christmas and so far we really like them. Here’s a quick pro/con breakdown. Pro: Speed - considerably faster than prior models LTE connectivity - leave your phone behind and go for a run. Take your streaming music and get/send messages and calls. New watch faces - not a big deal but nice to have with the Nike models Cons: No dedicated podcast app Inconsistent gps for fitness activities

I've owned Apple products for years. This watch has some nice features but my one complaint is "Man, this thing is fragile." I'm not a watch person so it's taking some getting used to. I do like how it "nags" me to stand up, breath, walk, etc. One word of advice. Get the AppleCare!!!! I lightly banged the watch against a door jamb entering a restaurant and the entire face cracked off. The cost to replace without AppleCare? $358 for a device that cost $429. Buy the AppleCare and get a cover.

These are good watches if you don’t already have. But If you are thinking of upgrading from version 1 or 2, I would say skip to next version or later. It is a little faster but noticed it’s a little buggy. Not really worth an upgrade to me even though I did it.. and I use it quite a bit.. be aware, if you plan to use for music, you will need Apple Music Subscription. You can’t use any other music apps without your iPhone

I really enjoy my Apple Watch - even more So than I thought I would when I bought it. It helps me meet my activity goals, synchronizes and alerts me to my meetings, allows me to check my stocks status quickly, and is really convenient for Apple Pay! Quickly sending texts is fantastic with the watch using dictation. And, I am no longer tethered to my phone! The only change I would make is a longer battery life.

Very happy with the watch so far. Best part has been the freedom to leave my phone behind and go for a run or swim while still being connected in case of emergency. It's a bit expensive, and the design definitely could use a little work but the wide variety of inexpensive bands helps quite a bit!

Anyone who's held off on getting a smartwatch can jump in without major reservations with Series 3 of the Apple Watch. It's a major step forward to prior iterations. Two main caveats: battery life is sometimes near critical by the end of the day, and it's still not always obvious how necessary/useful a smartwatch is most of the time.

I gave this 4 stars because the cell antennas are not very good. I bought this mainly for the ability to be away from my phone but reception is spotty. If you live in an area with good reception you will be fine but if not you will need your phone anyway. So maybe save on not getting LTE otherwise great Apple product

The cellular model is awesome but I realized I almost always have my phone with me or if you connected to wifi ever from your phone the watch remembers the wifi and will work without the phone if the gym has wifi. So I ended up returning and keeping my series 2.

Love my new watch with cellular. Full charge last 2 days for me. Frustrating that Spotify is not compatible so I could not sync my playlists for workouts, runs, and yard work without having my 7 Plus attached to my arm. Was forced to join Apple Music in order to have playlists available and also to stream music.

A no brainer if you own an iPhone...syncs very well your phone. Not sure of all the other functions of similar smart watches, but if you own an iPhone then I recommend this watch for the syncing purposes alone, integrating Nike into the watch is an awesome feature as well

Great device packed with features. I love the screen size but I wish the overall thickness of the watch was a bit thinner. I did get used to wearing it after a few months but if you wear shirts with cuffs you have to loosen your cuffs to accommodate the watch.

I thought I was going to buy the 4th gen watch until this went on sale. The price was so much better that it was hard to justify the 4th gen jump. Other than a 2mm larger screen on the 4th gen, I’m not sure I’m missing much.

I loved everything about it & works great without any problems. I do seem to check my watch more often & my phone less. I think if you work or go to school where having your phone out is not an option than you will love this watch.

Love it. Can leave my phone when I run and not miss anything. I was going to buy a GPS but opted for an Apple Watch instead. No regrets. All the features and then some.

But it could be better. I get a lot of dropped calls or unable to unanswer when trying to answer from my watch. All other other features are really useful.

This is a great watch that tracks fitness activities, but wish it would come with a sleep tracking app. Also, the battery life is a little disappointing but overall would recommend.

Nice to wear when running. Some slight bugs in the watch software, when you first put it on, the face is super-sized and takes awhile for it to return back to normal.

I love the fact that I can leave my phone at home when I run. The time that I spend looking for that devise is serious. I also like that I can shower in it too.
