    Wouldn't purchase again

I wanted an Apple Watch since they were first introduced and finally decided to shell out the money for one once the Series 4 was released. If I could describe this in one word, that word would be disappointing. The Apple Watch is very limited and I find myself only using a couple of its features, those being Messages and Activity. Beyond that, I don't really use it for anything else. I have had several issues with the watch, most of which were resolved by changing the settings but some still persist. I can never turn the watch off (to save battery life) because when I do, iMessage stops working. As a result, messages sent from my watch will be sent as a text and not iMessage, and they will usually fail to send. This problem also occurs if the watch ever dies. To solve this problem, I have to turn iMessage off on my iPhone 8 and turn it back on, wait for the "iMessage is now being used on Apple Watch" notification and tap "Okay." Contacting Apple support about this problem did not result in any fix. I plan on keeping this watch until it's no longer usable and unless for whatever reason I cannot see myself living without another Apple Watch, will not be purchasing a replacement.

Great If You Have The Money To Blow

So, I've been wanting an apple watch for a long time, and when I finally decided to purchase one, I figure, go big or go home, right? So. I bought the newest, biggest one and it was expensive (for me). Now that I've had the thing for like a month, I like it, but I don't use it as much as I thought I would. I wear it when I remember to and its deff handly at the gym if you're into tracking your stuff... but other than that it's kinda just for show. I like the feel of it and how big the screen is. I like that I can text while I'm at work.. But It was just so expensive for basically a convenient toy. If I went back in time, I wouldn't of bought it for the price I paid. But, It's a cool gadget if you have the money to blow.

My wife and I got Apple Watches through my job for a fitness program to earn HRA funds. We primarily use it to count our steps, but some of the convenience features of checking messages and using the speaker phone are cool. Otherwise there isn’t much use to have something like this, unless you’re a diehard workout enthusiast that needs to track heart rate and other activity stats. Best feature for me is not having to reach for my phone when I get a text. Not worth $400 though.

It is ok, I wish I would have gotten the watch with cell technology built in, it would probably be more useful. The band that comes with it, is not great, so you start off having to buy a new one, there are a ton of after market options that are great for less than $10. It does what it should, but I would think by version 4 it would have been a more mature product line.

This is my second time purchasing a apple watch and I will not do so again. The first time it was in my duffle bag and I tossed it on the floor (with the screen protector) and the screen shattered. Apple does not replace fix screens and I did not have apple care so the cost to fix the watch was basically the same price as a new one, so here I am buying this new one (and yes I got apple care this time) but it shouldnt shatter that easy.

Finally broke down and bought the Apple Watch 4. Probably got influenced by all the ads. Using it for two weeks now, I am unclear why one would need one. It's a good fitness tracker but otherwise if you usually have your phone near you, it's fairly useless. If you never had an Apple Watch but are thinking of buying one, look closely at what it actually does and whether it worth the price for you.

The apple 4 watch has a huge capability and a lot of AI. The 1st 2weeks have been difficult and humiliating because the watch is constantly providing information I did not request. Stand up, Breath, you appear to be driving all notifications are blocked, etc. Other owners tell me it will take a month to learn how to live with this device. But when you do, the information is amazing and useful.

I had an Apple Watch Series 2 prior and it lasted two years without much of any scratches on the screen. I’ve owned the Apple Watch Series 4 for a little over a month and it’s littered with scratches. I’m very surprised how delicate the Watch is. Although it’s quick and has great features, the screen quality is poor. Beware of this model. Make sure you get the stainless steal model.

This was a gift for someone and they love it. I am personally not a big fan of apple products due to high prices, but they said the microphone works great and the watch is much faster than the other smart watches they have used. Of course can't beat the looks. 3 stars for apple because the price for silver band was outrageous. So I had to stick with the white band.

Bottom Line: The Apple Watch Series 4 showcases a series of refinements to the features that made the Apple Watch the leader of the smartwatch category. Pros: sleeker design, larger display, faster and more responsive, improved heart and motion sensors, compatible with existing bands Cons: still an iPhone accessory, price

I generally love what it does, however, it is much too sensitive to some things. Once while working around the house I got an alarm that I had fallen? But the hate part came when I got a CARDIAC Event warning, that scared me beyond belief! I think it should have messaged me with a question about my status, not the frightening CARDIAC EVENT WARNING.

It’s an improvement over the last installment (I upgraded because mine stopped working properly). However, battery life on the adversitsed watch faces is pretty lackluster. It’s got a pretty screen though and it feels much thinner on the wrist than previous models. Hopefully patches/updates will solve the battery issues. Probably a 4 at that point.

Tried to switch from Fitbit Ionic. Could not make it through the first week. The battery life isn’t enough for one full day when you have moderate use and work out. Build and materials are nice, but ultimately returned to Fitbit.

This watch is awesome for what it is, but I found myself only looking at texts. That’s what my phone does so i didn’t need it. Also the bad gave me a weird bruise? So, I ended up returning it in the end. My wife loves hers though!

I always liked the gold aluminum on my Series 2, so I was surprised how pink the gold was on the new version. Opened it, saw the color, and promptly returned. Maybe it’s just a way to make buyers consider the stainless gold watch at nearly twice the price?

We buy smart watch to have notifications, calls and messages on the wrist. But I have my phone always on me. and for me this purchase was pointless. More then that - I could not charge watches for couple of hours for some reason and I had to hard reset them 2 times

If I was only rating the watch based on functionality, it would be 5 stars. However, this sports band is awful, with the watch coming lose twice in the three days I own it. Incredibly poor design that is easy to get snagged and fall off your wrist.

I really like it, but it is complicated. One problem it often for some reason enlarges the screen so large you can't manipulate it. I will bring this back as faulty. It s annoying to have to take it off shut t down and restart it...

I told by the sales person that the battery would last for about a week with normal use. It really only lasts about two and a half days with very little use. A long way from a week.
