    Nice Try Apple, but this watch is a fail

    The concept behind this smartwatch is good, but execution is not good. The battery life is horrible. I could barely get through past a day. It does integrate to phone calls, texts and email, etc. on your iphone, but when I tried actually reading many of my emails, it said see device. What a waste. I ended up turning that feature off. Notifications would come up for map navigation, was useless since I was using the phone anyway. The navigation on the phone was horrible. Many of the small icons were very similar and hard to tell one from another and to actually select the app was not easy at all. UI really needs to be addressed. I had hoped it would track sleep, but since the battery needed charging I couldn't wear it at night. It was nice to track exercise activity, but the fitbit is a better device for it. So basically it came down to an expensive watch that needed charging every day. I took it back after a week and got a fitbit. Much more useful and smaller and less expensive.

    Crystal Shattered

    I've had my watch for less than a week. While changing the watch band the watch slipped and fell a few inches onto a glass table top. The crystal shattered. Looking online, there are a number of complaints about the crystal shattering and all of the pictures show the crystal shattering from the curved edge inward. This is to me an obvious design/materials flaw. But in order to have it fixed, I will have to pay almost as much as a new watch would cost. This is supposed to be a sports watch and so I expected it to be more rugged than a non-sports watch. Best Buy took no responsibility for this product. I was told I would have to contact Apple to see about repairs. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING AN APPLE WATCH UNTIL THEY FIX THIS FLAW AND REPAIR FREE OF CHARGE CRYSTALS THAT HAVE CRACKED BECAUSE OF THIS FLAW.

    Red Exclamation After 2 Days

    I received this watch as a gift bought online from Best Buy. For the first two days it worked well although I suspected something was wrong because my exercise apps were not showing up on my Apple Watch home screen. During the software update the screen froze and popped up the red exclamation mark on reboot. I have used Apple products for 10 years with no problems and I was very excited about this watch. Word to the wise, pair this watch to your phone at time of purchase and update it there and then. If your watch has a problem call ahead to the Apple Store before taking it in to save yourself hours of waiting only for them to mail it out.

    Highly dissapointed on all levels

    Wanted this watch mostly for the fitness aspects; to my surprise it did not live up to the hype; poor fitness tracker and did not keep accurate HR; tracks only active calories burned while tracking HR; my biggest dissapointment was the battery life; it would only stay charged for about 8 hours, even after a full charge. I took it in to a store to see if some of my setting were wrong or if an app was wearing it down, the geek squad made a few minor adjustments, but it did nothing, would still die after about 7-8 hours into my 12 hour work shift. Then, after 10 ten days, the watch would no longer charge at all. Needless to say I returned the watch, Best Buy did not have a replacement watch available, so my only experience is based on this one, and based on that I have to give 1 star.

    I brought this watch in June, the first one sent, battery didn't work. I looked this up, and found that this was a problem with this watch. Best Buy replaced it with no problem. The replacement lasted for three months, and then I had the same problem, the battery wouldn't charge. This time Best Buy refused to replace it, as it is their policy, inless you paid an extra amount of money, to not replace it after 14 days. Apple said to send it to them, and they would fix it, or replace it with the same watch. Problem is, that after having a problem with two watches, i didn't want tHe same watch, I wanted the new one just out, I would have been willing to pay the extra amount or be reimbursed. This couldn't happen as I had purchase it from Best Buy. I am not happy with Apple, and I am not happy with Best Buy.

    Open Box Excellent Condition meant Unusable

    Bought it open box as a Christmas present for my son. "Excellent condition" meant unusable. It was synced to someone else's iCloud, nothing could be done and had to be returned. It would have taken an employee less than one minute to check to be sure the watch was in sellable condition before shipping out. Accidents happen, but apparently this has happened to others, so there are clearly quality control issues. No extra help from Best Buy for their mistake either, just reshipping another, not any faster than normal. Not a great experience to say the least.

    Not worth money

    I was rly excited to see this item on sale because I love my iphone and ipad and figured I would love the watch as well. Unfortunately it was not what I expected. I charged my watch completely before using and yet it lost 15% of battery in an hour while I just sat and watched tv, only glancing at the watch a few times. Also, when I received a call I was unable to answer it because pushing the accept call button was not not working. Also, there are not a lot of apps for the watch yet and its capabilities are not worth the price tag. Hopefully the next generation watch will be an improvement from the first. I returned my watch after one day and was not sad to let it go.

    Not useful for boot camp fitness

    I spoke direct with an in store Apple rep who stared this watch was equal to or better than its competition for fitness. Promised accuracy would amaze me, disappointed because it doesn't come close to other products do via a wrist application. Mine is always way off in comparison to several other gym partners who were similar devices, wouldn't suggest this for a true fitness person wanted good info output. Apple disappointed me on the watch so far, going to buy a Garnen.

    Broken Screen

    I bought this Iwatch for my fiance, When her and I open the Box it looked like it had a little crack. When we ripped off the plastic off the screen the crack went from little to shattered. We didn;t know that it was cracked it just looked like there was a line going through the watch. Took it back to best buy and they told me they did not sell me the product this way. It was literally 5 days after I had bought it and the day after my annv. Best BUy did not take it back and I will never shop here again.

    This Apple Watch is great in so many ways. One feature I think is great is the iPhone finder. You just press the button that has the phone icon and my phone beeps. I never lose my phone now with this option. I use the apps for counting my steps when I exercise and it shows how many calories are burned with designated exercise that is done. It is pretty much like your iPhone but on your wrist. I absolutely love it.

    This product is totally useless. Why it is a trashy product? first, the screen is so small. second, it is pretty much a slave of iphone. Limited use cases by itself. third, the quality is so bad. Because of 1 & 2, this watch was kept in the drawer for 100 days. on day 101, hubby want to use it, and it just could not be powered on. Apple store said: battery is dead, dead?, dead?! Can you change it? no. please pay 199 to "exchange" for a new one. DON'T BUY APPLE WATCH.

    Do Not Buy Open Box

    Received open box Apple Watch for a Christmas gift and it was attached to someone else's Apple ID. It was completely unusable. Considering it was guaranteed in excellent condition, there's really no excuse. Who exactly checked it before classifying it as "excellent"? Called Best Buy and they apologized and said they would send another but it wouldn't arrive for 5 days. The person who bought it for me felt horrible...not a positive experience...

    The I watch doesn't really do anything the phone can't do. If you ask me you're just wasting your money. I don't know maybe in the future they will come up with apps to make it more useful. As far as tracking activity goes I suggest you save yourself $100 and go with a simple activity tracker. Also I'm not a big fan of the activity tracker app on the watch either. It doesn't really give you any good information.

    I received my Apple Watch for my birthday in October last year and my glass screen has separated from its body the glue did not hold. I have never had a Watch come apart like this. I should of ready the reviews apple should of had a recall on these as it looks like it is common with there watch

    I have many problems with the watch at first... Phones Calls could not be heard ;I'm very disappointed with the batterys lasting the activity tracker is way off all of the app's take forever to load is not as functional as expected but i love the ability to see my messages as they come in. i want to return the watch back to bestbuy but with the new os 3 update i think will work better i just need to wait

    Love all of my other Apple products... MacBook, iPad and iPhone...was very excited to add the watch to the mix. Sadly, it was a huge disappointment. I'm returning it in hopes that the next generations will give more bang for my buck. It's also very large on a small wrist... It's not "pretty". I bought a couple other bands too... Kind of like putting lipstick on a pig. Really bummed that I didn't love it.

    I have read and followed the instructions for this watch to get started. I put it in my wrist, tried to pair it with my phone and nothing.... It won't even light up. Nothing. So I put it on the charger thinking maybe I needed to charge it first. After several hours, nothing.... I plan to contact Apple and see if I can get help. If not, I am going to take it back. I need easy, not complicated.

    I was so excited to get this watch and I have to be honest and say, I'm not impressed at all. The battery dies by the end of the day. Using anything voice activated don't work well. It's hard to type on with big fingers and the band is not comfortable at all. Sure wish I hadn't sold my fit bit for this. Not worth the money.

    I recieved an open box Apple Watch it said it was in excellent condition. Opened the box and it was excellent until I begin to pair it to my iPhone and found out it was paired to someone else's Apple ID. VERY ANGRY. AND DID RETURN IN STORE, but they did order me a brand new one. Still can't understand why they didn't check everything before they accepted as a return???

    I have no idea what happened to my watches. The first watch, dead, black screen after 9 days. Replacement watch dead after 16 days, black screen. I don't know if it's an apple problem or if Best Buy has a bad "batch" of watches. I've got a feeling that the charger has something to do with it. Going to Apple Store.
