I have purchased this item 4 times over the last 6 years for myself and family members, and I could not be happier about it. The batteries recharge quickly, the charger provides the status of the charge, and has a compact design. It comes with 6 batteries and the ones that I bought 6 years ago still work as good as the day when I purchased them. We have used them for XBOX controllers, a computer mouse, smoke detectors, and other items that need AA batteries without any issues. I highly recommend these rechargeable batteries to anyone who is looking for excellent value and reliability.

This is a great investment & a much needed item for wireless accessory users. I have a trackpad & wireless keyboard - I just like the esthetic of fewer cords on my desk. But that also comes with replacing batteries on a REGULAR basis. These rechargable batteries are a great solution. The charger indicates when they are charging & when they are fully charged, so there's no guessing.

Got it to replace my old set that I sold with my old Mac. Works great charges pretty quick very easy and compact.

I have had the Apple Battery Charger for 4 weeks now and it's superior to any other charger I've had. It tells the status while charging and once fully charged the batteries outlast previous rechargeable with the same output. Great design, compact and convenient! Charging light is a huge bonus.

Rechargeable batteries make sense when they can easily pay for themselves after one or two cycles. I compared prices and fir the money, I preferred to go with Apples all in one offer ( charger and batteries)

I just love these rechargeable batteries from apple. This purchase was for my second set. I use these batteries for my keyboard, mouse, and trackpad. The unit includes 3 sets of batteries and I wanted charged batteries always on hand and It took all three sets to run all my apple hardware for my iMac.The batteries seem to charge quickly and definitely last longer than the duracells and energizers that I was using in the past. Honestly, I feel that the expenditure for the two sets of apple rechargeable batteries have actually saved me money in the long run b/c I no longer go through batteries for my computer system like water.

I have 3 Apple wireless keyboards, two Magic Track Pads, and one Apple Magic mouse. They all require 2 AA batteries. Apple designed this charger for use by these devices. Each charger kit has 6 batteries: 2 for the keyboard, two for the pointing device and two to be charging. Since the devices use up their charges at different rates, you simply replace the dying ones with a pair of freshly charged batteries. The charger shows the state of the charge and once full charge is reached you can leave the batteries in the charger, knowing that they will draw almost no power and that they will not be harmed by long charging times. I see that Apple recently introduced wireless keyboards and trackpads that have built in non-removable batteries. So for those cool devices you don't require any batteries at all -- simply plug one into USB for a few hours. But if you have the older gear, get the Apple battery charging kit. You will love it.

It is a great battery charger. It came with six rechargeable batteries. Very compact design. Extended battery lift observed.

I bought a second one of these since the batteries seem to last longer and I like the compact design. Pricey, but that's Apple.

I have two of these chargers now. The charger is nice and compact with an indicator LED to let you know the charge state of the batteries. It stops charging automatically when the batteries are full and will periodically turn on after that to keep them at max charge. The only problem with it is that once in a while after you insert batteries into it for charging, the indicator will blink orange indicating that there is a problem. You need to remove the batteries and re-insert them and then it will usually work fine, sometimes though you may have to try a few times before it functions correctly. It isn't a major issue but I expect a lot better quality control from Apple.

Product was well packaged and not broken/opened. Extremely easy to start using it. It work perfectly without any technical problems. All the devices using these batteries work perfectly and for the expected time. I will recommend this product to Apple users.

I bought these batteries to stick with the apple name brand for my keyboard and mouse and I have to say that the lifespand is outstanding. I like that it comes with 3 sets of two ( one for mouse and keyboard) and a spare to back you up while the others are charging. I leave my keyboard and mouse running 24/7 and it has been nearly 4 weeks since the first charge. I am on my computer at least 10 hrs per day.

Love this battery, easy to charge. Has light to show charging. Last along time.

With keyboard and mouse all needing batteries, I decided to check on rechargeable AA batteries. Saw a review for this Apple charger which included 6 NiMH batteries. All charged up although a couple I charged one at a time since for some reason two of them didn't charge together. Both are good, however. Long term, who knows but I'll just have to count on the other review being correct.

Have used my battery and it out lasted regular batteries. Easy to charge.

I haven't had to use it yet, but it is very compact and easy to store.

This Battery charger is great to have, I never have to buy batteries again for any of my equipment . I simply just recharge and always have 4 charged at all times. This is great for someone who can't remember to purchase batteries...

Using a lot of AA batteries in keyboard and mouse. Have been looking at this battery and charger from Apple for a while. Other charger and battery combinations available for less, but I have never been disappointed with any product from Apple. This is no exception.
