The new Apple EarPods are a vast improvement over the original Apple Earbuds. More comfortable and better sound.

 These are the best headphones for my mom. She loves them. I bought these for her. This is actually our second pair of headphones I got her she lost her other ones because these are the only ones she likes overall I would recommend.

I do not usually spend more than $10 on earbuds because I only bought cheap Philips earbuds that have pretty good sound quality for the price. I used to think those were good, but now that I have these apple earpods, I realize how cheap my other ear buds actually were. I absolutely love these earbuds and I now listen to music probably double what I used to because I'm falling in love with songs now that I can hear the full, rich sound from the bass.

Bought these for her to use with an ipad mini as headphones only. I did not realize they can do so much more. The sound from the buds are pretty good and acoustically accurate (balanced) not overblown bass sounding. They have wide spacious (spatial) sound but you can also realize a distinct center channel. Nicely done once again Apple.

Purchased this by price matching and for $10 this is too worthy... The volume and effect is good..

I've bought three pairs of these, and I may buy more and save them for the future. Before I bought these, I bought a highly rated set with multiple fitments to adapt to any ear. No matter which ones I used, the bass was virtually non-existent. I tried playing them for hours to break them in, with no improvement. These sounded great out of the box. The only reason I am on my third pair is because two were destroyed with blatant abuse. My only complaint is that they don't stay in my ears well, if I'm active or change position. Also, the nice case they come in isn't really practical for reuse as storage.
