Great product and easier to travel with than my computer

I was debating between a laptop and the iPad pro to augment the iMac desktop i currently use as my main device. It was not an easy decision but I eventually went with the iPad pro and i am very glad I did. The lightweight, the split screen, and the computing power makes this the perfect travel addition to my iMac. I did not need the extra horsepower of a laptop so this has suited my needs perfectly - I will not likely buy another laptop - the iPad pro serves all my needs.

I love the size of the iPad. its like have a laptop on the go and I take it everywhere i go.

It's speakers are way better quality then I thought and the large screen is great for work.

This is by far the best iPad I have owned. It is lightning fast and the screen is gorgeous.

The larger 12.9 Retina display makes text and video feel crisp and vibrant. The massive screen Realestate is second to none when watching movies or simply fitting more information in split screen. The A9x 64 bit processor and 4GB of ram makes the iPad Pro lightning fast.

It works perfectly! Allows me to read my e-textbook and take notes at the same time in split screen view! It also works well with WebAssign which is usually unfriendly with tablets. I definitely recommend for students who want to condense the amount of supplies that they carry around! I also definitely recommend the Apple Pencil!

A beautiful piece of tech, worked lovely, but I took it back and got the smaller size. The 9.7 is a bit smaller than I would like, but the 12.9 is as large as a MacBook Air and more difficult for me to handle. I am sure professionally it would be the pad of choice, but for home use, the smaller size works best for me. Hopefully some time in the future there will be a mid-sized unit available. I do love the pro features - my previous unit is an iPad 9.7 Air 3 and it has been really nice to work with. I can definitely feel the speed boost and additional responsiveness in the pro version. The pencil adds another dimension and is the real reason that I upgraded. I have had iPads since the first generation and still feel them to be unequalled in the marketplace. In fact I still have my 2nd gen iPad - it still works like a charm - I love the longevity of Apple products - nothing else compares...

I have an Apple iPad Air with 64 gigs - but this new unit has a much larger screen, faster processor and beautiful sounding speakers. I chose a 128 gig Wi-Fi unit and also purchased Logitechs Smart Case and I the Apple pen. Both have proven their value to the iPad.

I use my iPad for everything, work, play, games. It's so convienent to use & carry around.

i have long been an ipad user and after three different versions over the years, this is my absolute favorite. fast, efficient, love the larger screen...it's the first update i've had that not only is great for entertainment but really takes the place of a laptop.

Excellent large screen with great video and audio. Nice bright images. No problems so far.

The new Apple I Pad Pro was supposed to supplement my computer but instead it replaced it.

I had a second gen IPad that I used for two years and loved. I wanted a bigger screen and more memory. This one certainly meets those requirements. It has some oddities, like not downloading all of a web site. I seem to have to reboot it from time to time. The visuals are crisp and clear for sure. I also use it for ebooks and music and the dual speakers are pretty impressive. I am doing most of my computer time on this unit now and highly recommend it, but I do like Apple products. It syncs with my phone.

Fast, great display-sharp and colorful images. Touch screen a little too sensitive though.

In this case, it's too big. I guess I was just going for the most screen real estate. Overall, seems like it's good. As for cameras on it I have no need for cameras on a tablet. I got it for work-related use. It does everything I could imagine it should. I was fairly disappointed to find out that there are apps that are not built for iPads and are displayed in a much smaller window and not scaled at all. Unfortunately I do feel my next purchase in this category would probably be a Microsoft Surface, or something else comparable. For some the iPad would be perfect especially if you are an iPhone user. However the cost of accessories is absolutely ridiculous and through the roof. The 'Pencil' is something that I will have to save money to get if I want it. Performance, flawless so far. Price is where I took a single star away. Apple products are very pricey and in my opinion probably should be sold at about 20% less than where they are currently on. The cost of the name shouldn't be that much of a mark up.

Great size to stream and play video games. Enjoy it anywhere without squinting your eyes.

I had recently purchased an IPad Air 2 for my wife. I saw this bigger IPad and really wanted to get it but I knew she would say this was to big for her purse and for her routine use. After getting this for me a few weeks later, I have found that at times, the big size can be a little more inconvenient. But, if you don't mind the extra weight and size, it is really nice for email, web, and watching videos.
