I've used the Pro and the Surface; frankly, I like both, but for overall flexibility of use, NOTHING compares to the Pro (12.9). Ease of use, A+; Reliability, A+; Flexibility, A+; Visuals, A+; Functionality, A+. In fact, the only weakness centers on document productivity, which I'd put a B-. However, there are workarounds for that as well. I would encourage looking at the 2015 models if saving money is a priority. They remain highly useful despite being 3 years old.

The resolution is great, and the size makes images even more outstanding. The light weight and thinness are definitely a plus.

Love the bigger screen and it's not much heavier. Got the new pen also to use the new features. Priced nicely for Christmas.

Big enough to feel like a laptop, but small enough to feel like a tablet. When paired to a wireless keyboard, it turns the iPad into a computer. Ease of use is awesome, being able to look at all the documents on my iPhone with the apple cloud storage is really convenient.

I bought this as a gift for my husband to replace the older smaller original iPad that he had had for many years. I was worried that the new larger size would be too big to hold comfortably but my husband loves it! he also loves the screen which is perfect for looking at the many pictures he saves. the only thing that was odd was that when he uploaded his account form apple only about 25% of the photos carried over. he thinks he can restore them from an older backup and I hope he is correct.

I really have no complaints with its performance... It does everything the iPad does. It doesn't fit in my life anywhere. I have the keyboard case and it does the job for writing and excel work, just poorly. As a tablet it's large, heavy, and unwieldly. This item is full of compromise basically. Not a great laptop and an inconvenient tablet. I'd recommend going for the regular iPad or a Surface Pro if you must have a tablet. The Surface Pro is a compromise too, but not nearly as bad as the iPad Pro

This is great for any one that need to read, video, and lisen music, also is great for illustrations and ridding! excelente!

Never own an Apple device because of the high $$ price. Now I know why. It's beautiful with great features and a very productive device. This iPad Pro can do so much! I will be looking at more Apple products from now on!

Big screen - Movies look awesome. Works the same as other iPad's but with more technology, faster, and can use the Apple Pencil

It was a Christmas gift to my wife. She loves it & now she wants the iPad pro pencil to go with it.

I upgraded my iPad to this version. It is terrific. Bigger screen, fast response.not sure how I worked prior to this.

I love this new iPad. I use at work & home so the multitasking is incredible. For fun - the screen resolution is amazing . I learn new possibilities everyday. Seamless sync to my iPhone still is a great advantage for me.

The big screen makes viewing music charts easy while performing on stage. I also love the ability to write the charts using an Apple pencil in conjunction with the Ipad Pro, but the larger screen makes it all possible!

Larger screen, long lasting battery, and very little problems. My wife loves it more than playing her games on the desktop.

Replaced my iPad 2 with the new iPad Pro. It is fast and the screen is incredible. It is a great replacement for the iPad 2.

Love the size for reading sheet music and not having to use a stand light. Speakers are also great for listening in stereo.

Great purchase. The iPad Pro has great battery life. I also like that it has speakers on both ends of the iPad...great sound.
