Bestbuy sold me a stolen IPad, not two days after I activated it, the carrier service stopped working where I was on a work trip. Initially I thought the problem was with my carrier, only to find out that it has been reported stolen and I spent 10 hours going between T mobile, Verizon, BestBuy and Apple trying to figure out who can unlock it. At the end the BestBuy agent said “you are beyond return and we cannot replace it” tough luck.
