This model is great and has all the features you could need for school and assignments. Other than the packaging I received it in, I would not have been able to tell it was refurbished. Love it!

I’m sure this model is snappy and lovely to use. Unfortunately, I ordered it by mistake, since the product listing photos and descriptions for this refurbished 5th gen iPad Air (4gb RAM), and the refurbished 5th gen iPad Air I wanted (8gb RAM) are virtually identical. It doesn’t help that tech specs that differentiate the two are only visible on the product page and not while in cart. Otherwise, Best Buy’s refurbished device offerings are great. You may not get an apple official cable, but something that works just fine, as well as a charger block. Most cosmetic scratches to the screen weren’t visible unless it was thoroughly cleaned and shiny, and they were easily concealed underneath a textured screen protector. Battery life is similar to that of my relatively new 9th gen iPad, but I also mainly use word-processors, art programs, and some 3d modeling apps. I can get several hours work out of it on the go, and the usb-c connector is a game-changer in terms of working with my other devices/computers.

when i first purchased this ipad i was kinda being iffy about it because of the fact it was a refurbished device but now that i have it on hand it works great its as if it practically new straight out the box it has great battery heath and all i love it so much

Everything works well, no noticeable cosmetic issues! Battry life isn’t the best, but it’s decent. I’m a satisfied customer overall.

Perfect size and so easy to carry around and use on my commute. Perfect travel companion. A bit slower than I would like, but works great considering its 4-5 years old now. Can’t even tell its refurbished, great job Best Buy!

It’s an iPad, so it is fast and reliable. It’s great if you only need it for web surfing ( considering the amount of ram). I got it for $200 during Black Friday. Great deal for the money.

You can read reviews all over the internet about this iPad. I am only going to review the "refurbished" aspect of this one that I purchased. I sort of expected it come in the retail box, but that was not the case. iPad arrived in a plain brown box, somewhat securely packaged (basically shrink-wrapped to a piece of cardboard in the inner box). It was a little disappointing, but I guess that is the difference between open-box and refurbished, and I should have expected it. The iPad itself was in excellent shape, looked brand new. Works fine. The main problem is that they did not include the charger or charging cable, even though the listing says those are included. Had to trek over to my local Best Buy, where the CS person wanted to argue with me over what is and isn't included in refurbished products, despite me showing her the listing that says what's included. A manager overheard this argument and came over and made it right, providing me with a charger and cable. Still, it was a pain to deal with. Overall, I am not sure I'd go refurbished again, even if it saved me about 17% off the price.

Great condition!! Works like new and came in super fast! Definetly recommend their refurbished ipads!

This review didn’t get 5 stars just because the shipping was terrible. The article was left just like that in front of our building, though I gave my apt number. Fortunately I came on time to take before someone else does. The product itself came as seen online and was good.

I was Skeptical at first on purchasing a refurbished item but I said why not and took the risk and almost a year later 0 issues with my iPad I have no complaints for anyone or everyone who’s thinking or thought of buying a refurbished item it’s definitely worth it I tip my hat to my favorite store thank you Best Buy

I really like this iPad and have never faced any issues since day one. I can utilize it for both my personal and office activities. The iPad has good features for Applications.

I didnt expect it to come in such good condition! Came with a charger and it came with a tiny scuff but none the less its great for its price.

i always buy my electronics through best buy wether new or refurbished i feel like its always good quality and i am super satisfied with the ipad i bought it was affordable and no issues

I absolutely love it it’s perfect for taking notes and works well as a makeshift computer. It came super fast and was a great price! The only issue is it dosnt hold charge very long and I have to charge it alot, still works great though!

This is kind of a mixed review. I was very happy with the iPad itself- when it was working properly. It turned out to have a problem with the screen. It would be working fine, and then it would partially or completely stop responding to touch, and if a keyboard was open on the screen, it would start going crazy typing by itself. I have a hard time blaming Best Buy, because the issue didn't show up until the second day I had it, so it likely just wasn't caught during the refurbishing process (which I'm guessing just entails a factory reset, and a quick screen, button and port check). No hassle with returning it, and I have reordered, so hopefully the next one is good.
