While these phones are priced pretty good, Geek Squad certified refurbished is a false promise. I picked up one phone, brought it home, and there were two big scratches on the screen. I returned it and got a second one. It looked fine initially, but when I turned it on, the battery settings show the battery at 79% health maximum. These phones are definitely not refurbished, they are inspected to be of acceptable quality, then boxed up and sold.

I was bent on getting a refurbished iPhone, and BestBuy had the BEST price and FREE shipping! However, the negative reviews about the GeekSquad quality of inspection made me a bit nervous, plus the product page made no indication about the condition (fair, good, or excellent). But I bit the bullet and bravely made the purchase, thinking to myself that I can easily return it if I run into any problems. And boy, I'm glad I did! The phone came swiftly within a couple of days. It was well-packaged and secured, and it came with a BestBuy-branded Lightening charging cable. The phone itself is in EXCELLENT, NEAR-FLAWLESS cosmetic condition. Everything booted up and works smooth as warm butter. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the phone is actually unlocked (I purchased what was advertized as a Verizon-locked phone). No complaints there! The battery is at 85% maximum capacity. Activiated no problem on US Mobile, Warp Speed. I'm sorry for the bad experience other reviewers had. I can only assume they got a lemon. As for my case, I got a diamond! I'm VERY satisfied with my purchase!

I like the iPhone 14 Pro Max, BUT spent an hour with Verizon tech-support over the phone trying to activate it, spent another 30 minutes at the Verizon store, and spent another 30 minutes at the Best Buy store, we found out that it was locked by a different carrier. Not Verizon as advertised. Huge disappointment and letdown. I did get a refund but no compensation for frustration and wasted time. You think that the geek squad refurbished iPhone would have the original Apple packaging, but not (only generic packaging). I really questioned geek squad quality inspection and integrity. 

Great performance. Excellent telephone. Very satisfied.

My iPhone 11 Pro Max accidentally gotten wet so I needed a replacement. I wanted to keep the lightning cable charging so after shopping around Best Buy had the best deal and price. FedEx it the next day came in pristine condition. Packaging was well done battery life was at 85%. Probably paid less than half vs the latest comparable iPhone definitely 50% less than a refurbished model at Apple store only difference its battery was replaced. Overall very satisfied hopefully will last as long as my old IPhone.

Arrived in like new condition. So far so good. I hope it continues to work like a new one.

It had a lot of scratches and marks on the screens and it came really greasy. Had to wipe it muliple times before I felt comfortable to put the screen protector on jt.

Phone is great condition but I’m having issues registering phone with phone provider and nobody can help so I’ll have to replace this with a new phone not used.

I’m very happy with phone and condition of phone was disappointed in the fact they sent wrong charger.
