Over one year later. I purchased a refurb because I have an aversion for paying full price, especially for something like this. Has worked great since I purchased it and not one issue using this with my iPad Pro 11” 2018. I don’t use the Apple Pencil everyday, but it is a great addition to the iPad and certainly has its uses and can make things a lot easier. I particularly like that I can sign documents with a real signature and email them out. Also great for drawing, taking notes, etc.

There's a huge world of stylus-compatible devices and tablets beyond the iPad, but Apple's tablets are the first choice for many artists and educators because of their ease of use (better than Surface tablets) And serious artists and design professionals should spare no expense for top-quality tools, and the new Pencil's convenient magnetic charging, clever design, and impressive functionality make it my Choice.

I purchased the Apple Pencil 2 Geek Squad Certified Refurbished. It was drastically cheaper then a brand new one, but it did not come without flaws. Best Buy claims that they verify it to work properly however that is not the case. When I got the Pencil it had trouble with simple task such as drawing a line. It would skip or not make contact at all. At first I thought it was my screen protector so I purchased a better quality one. But still had the same outcome. I was bout to return it to best buy, but decided to go to an Apple Store. As it turns out the tip was bad and needed be replaced. Once they did that it was a good as new. So going forward I have servere concerns about Best Buy's claim on refurbished items that they have been tested to work.

Good battery life and easy to use for math and notes

Works great, just like new. I first got a refurbished pencil from Amazon and it didn’t work. Ordered from here after and it came really quickly.

This pen is easy to charge and use however there is times when i touch somethingvin the tablet and it doesnt respond.

I purchased this as a Geek Squad certified refurbished item. The item came in great shape and cannot tell that it was refurbished. In general, I like this design way better than the Apple Pencil that I used on a 10.5” iPad Pro. The sensitivity has been greatly improved and also charging the pencil on the side of the iPad vs. through the lightning port is a no brainer.

My only complaint about this Apple Pencil is that Apple is making it way too complicated to keep up with their monopolization of technology. We had to return the pencil because it didn't work with my daughter's older iPad. Such a hassle as a customer just to fit into Apple's World. Too bad we like our Apple products so much. They have us stuck!

Great just like brand new. It didn’t come in the original packaging but works like a new one.

I almost sent this back after about 3 days of using. First it didnt want to seem to charge. It finally charged. Then it did not want to pair. Next it was draining the battery of the ipad pro a lot. But after 3 days, it finally started to work. I think this may be a flaw for the Apple Pencil. If you leave it off the side of the ipad, and lay it next to the Ipad. It will drain your battery completely. Even if you are not moving the pencil or ipad. I left it in this state overnight and woke up from a fully charged Ipad to a dead ipad. The other flaw is that even if the pencil is fully charged, and you leave it on the side of the ipad, it is still draining the ipad more than before I had the pencil.

Worth the money! I got an open box pen and it was basicallly brand new. Pen writes great and I use it everyday.

Awesome pen that offers an ease of use for those particular tasks that require it.

Love being able to teach my kids on the iPad how to read and write and the Apple pen makes it possible to transfer a digital experience to one that’s essential.

Was surprised how well this tool worked. I’m a Samsung guy but needed an iPad for work reasons. Ive had various Galaxy notes for years and use the S-pen regularly. This Apple Pencil is very responsive and works great. I like how it attaches magnetically to the side of the pro and syncs/charges wirelessly. Only downside is I’m paranoid of loosing it as I imagine it could be knocked off if not careful. As with all Apple products, it is also way overpriced, but I bought mine refurbished and have no issues.

Works perfectly well. The product was delivered fast alongside with my iPad and it was clean, no stains or any visible scratches, it works as a new device.

Purchased on 21 July 2024 while on business travel which appeared new in the sealed box, but with an Open Box sticker packaged 27 Jan 2024 with « excellent «  condition. The pencil would not work when I returned home in EU the end of August. I went to 2 Apple service centers who indicated the Pencil was unusable/defective and had zero guarantee at Apple since it was over 4 years old and originally sold in October 2020. I’m not happy with this Geek squad certified excellent product and hope Best Buy will honor the guarantee if shipped from EU.

The pencil I received was open box and so it was expected that it wouldn’t be perfect. I had the pencil for about a week before it started malfunctioning, during that week, it worked really well and did exactly what it’s been made for. After that week though, it started disconnecting from Bluetooth consistently and would not reconnect, my iPad Pro would recognize there was a pencil on the magnetic strip but it would not show charge status or reconnect, I ended up going to apple who replaced it for free as this was a manufacturer defect and I have the AppleCare on my account for the iPad

Cannot even tell it is refurbished, works and looks perfect!

A MUST HAVE!!! Purchased for my wife for her iPad Pro. The apple pen made the use of her iPad more efficient and productive. Purchased as an open item however feels just like new
