I love that it is always ready to go no need to charge up. It’s sleek and compact. Because of its magnetic strip an Apple genius innovations I just snap it on & go. Complaints is 1st there is no coverage for the back of my ipad which leaves it open to scratched and bruises. And 2ndly there are times when it could sit up more upright than the lean.

My only negative on this is the wearing off of used letters. I’ve had my current keyboard for two years and 8 keys are completely off. and 6 are wearing off. But, I just love it. Without it, I would not have an iPad.

This was a replacement for one that I wore out. It was listed as “refurbished”. It arrived in record time, in perfect condition and works perfectly!! So thankful to the employee who told me I could find it on your website when it was not in the store!

An excellent value. This is my first refurbished product purchase and it exceeded my expectations. Only a small cosmetic blem on the cover would suggest it wasn’t brand new.

I bought a knock-off keyboard from Amazon and I HATED it. Every time my palm hit the pad, it jumped to a new site. Then it stopped working after a month. I decided to try a refurbished keyboard and all seems perfect. I don’t need a separate charger for the keyboard which is a huge bonus

After getting this keyboard it made doing homework easier! I just wish it had the option for the keyboard to light up to be able to type at night.

I'd used a Zagg folio/keyboard for a long time, but since it connected by Bluetooth, I needed to deal with when it connected, its charge level, and a lot of other things. When it finally stopped working (well after its warranty expired), I decided to go with something simpler. The Apple Smart Keyboard connects to the iPad through a set of electrical contacts on the bottom (as in the photo) of the iPad. It is powered by the iPad and doesn't need Bluetooth or anything else to connect to the iPad. It offers a full-function (no numeric keypad) in a footprint that fits the 10.5-inch diagonal size of the iPad. The keys aren't "clicky", but they do provide a bit of feedback. I'd like to see Apple adopt a keyboard layout that includes some extra keys, such as volume controls, but that's more of a suggestion than an issue. Overall this is a good choice for a basic iPad cover and simple keyboard. And its "refurbished" status has not been anything I've noticed - it works just like a brand-new keyboard.

My last keyboard gave out, it was so frustrating to use. This referbished one so far, has a somewhat frustrating feature. Every time I start to type, I have to start the word, then hit shift, then space. After the initial shift and space, I can type ok.

Such a great deal and both were in excellent condition that i ordered. Get one of these or two while you can at this price. Definitely elevates the iPad experience! :)

Replaced a keyboard that was not apple with this refurbished Apple one. I have not had any problems or syncing issues. Very happy with purchase.

I received the wrong item. A later smart keyboard that won't work with an iPad 8th Gen. In addition it was filthy. I returned it a month ago using a Best Buy return label and have not yet received a refund. I am working with customer support on resolving this.
