Great sound for the size. I’m replacing all my Amazon Echos with these due to much better sound and integration with Apple devices and services. Still wish Apple hadn’t discontinued the larger HomePods. Got the mini at a rare discount from BestBuy.

The speaker sounds good enough for me. What I like is that you don’t need to have it connected to your phone in order to play music. Unfortunately the commands for searching music only works with Apple Music, you can still play Spotify music but the commands are only the basic ones.

HomePod is the best smart speaker! Great sound with good amount of bass and it’s pretty loud. Easy to set up. Overall great speaker. Purchased at a good price thanks Best Buy!

I love this HomePod. It’s like a nice companion to your Apple products. I love that you can buy multiple pods and tell them all different things to do. Loud, sounds close to a subwoofer.

Excellent mini speaker if you’re already invested in the Apple ecosystem. But don’t be fooled. This is NOT a Bluetooth speaker in the traditional sense. It works over your WiFi network. You have to manually connect to it with your computer if you use it as a desktop speaker. That said, the sound and ease of use is remarkable. Highly recommend it.

I want sure how well it would work for surround sound for my Apple TV and with my other HomePod mini but it works so amazing

Bought two of these to have a stereo setup in the kitchen/living room. “Hey Siri” works really well, even at loud volumes. Really like how they’re tied into the Apple ecosystem, they “just work.” All that being said, recognize that these are two large orange sized smart speakers…the low end is non-existent. Great for NPR, terrible for The Weeknd.

Really good sound and excellent siri integration. Can do stereo sound with two minis or even if you already have a regular homepod you can still play music from both speakers for a pseudo-stereo effect after playing around with the volume and positioning Well worth the purchase!!

Wow wow wow great sound. Easy to set up and Siri listens well even if you have full volume and you are across the room! No need to shout, just speak and ask Siri for whatever you need.

The sound on this item is really good. It connects readily to my Apple devices, and it looks good on my desk. Overall, very happy with this item.

Excellent sound system fills entire living room while playing the full catalog that Apple Music has to offer including their radio stations. Siri is able to listen to commands easily with her very nice microphone. Also able to control many apps on my iPhone through Siri commands.

Good device all around. The quality to the sound is better than my Echo Dots, but the volume doesn’t go as high as the echo dot, I’m assuming the quality starts to degrade at that point. Overall asking Siri a question it is not as quick and responsive as any of the latest Apple products but gets the job done just the same. When you unbox it and start to play with it I felt like I could tell it came out 4 years ago and really needs a refresh with the newer hardware

Bought this as a gift for our son. Its an apple product so I expected it to be nice. The volume and sound quality that this little thing puts out was beyond what I was prepared for. Not as good as my Sonos products if I'm being honest but close.

Bought this as a gateway router for my Thread network, with the intent to not really use it as a speaker or Siri interface. What a surprise. The speaker section sounds great for its size, and the Siri interface is MUCH better than through the phone. Very happy with this.

I own smart speakers from the other two major companies but wanted to get a Homepod to compare all three. I wanted until it went on sale as I did not think it was worth the everyday price. When it comes to music and audio this be by far the best on the market. The sound is excellent and the bass is a lot better than I could of imagined. When it comes to asking it do searches, turn on the lights (Hue) and other things it is not really good. It tells me the lights are not available all the time, I don't know that one, or something else. All of the other devices not issue. I get annoyed if my phone/ipad is closer than the Homepod the music will stream for the that device. I have to get closer to the Homepod of make sure all other devices are locked. I do like the Homepod but if you not into listening to music or podcast I really can't see a reason to get one.

i already had the big one but the mini is just as grest obviously the big one is louder in all ways but the functions of the mini still holds its own. definitely worth it

I preordered two of these when they first came out. They were a lot smaller than what I thought they were going to be. They sound great for their size. Would definitely recommend having the full size HomePod to go along with these to give an overall better, fuller sound.
