    Great homepod for the money

I love the New HomePod mini. It’s just like the main HomePod but just smaller. The sound quality is amazing for the size. Just as loud as the big one. I can’t tell the difference. The quality is just what you expect with Apple. If you don’t want to spend the money for the big HomePod. Then you sure won’t regret getting this small one.

This is a lot better to use in my office than my Echo. I use this to listen to music as I am working. The sound quality is surprisingly good. I will be getting more to have around the house to use so I can use it as an intercom system.

It’s awesome if you want a speaker with awesome sound get the Apple home pod. I’ve used it for about a month and I haven’t had trouble with it at all it has so much cool features like checking your room humidity and temperature etc. To be honest I didn’t expect the sound to be that loud I love it and I most definitely recommend if your looking to buy one for an office or bed room.

As a person in the apple ecosystem this is pretty awesome. Currently trying to wean off the family from the Amazon ecosystem and over to Apple HomeKit. Unfortunately it might be a 2 ecosystem household. Used the Nanoleaf a19 with HomePod sucked for a bit but now connected without issues. Meross matter plugs work really good with the HomePod. Really nice that it connects with Apple TV obviously if you have enough pods make a surround system.

Sound quality is really good (although it only gets so loud) and you even get some interesting special/3D effects from it. Cut from the same cloth as the larger HomePod. Siri has gotten better and the Home app works fine with all my smart home stuff and the HomePod minis control everything fine despite a little lag from the time you ask Siri to do something until it gets done. I’d rather have 3 of these than 1 of the bigger one for the same cost. I can have these play music at the same time and it really fills the house. And if I ask Siri something, the nearest one will respond (like to set a timer or something). Overall a great product if you’re fully bought into the Apple walled garden. Google and Alexa might be a little more robust, but I don’t want them snooping on me and selling me stuff. HomePod does what I want quite well, plays nice with other gadgets and smart home stuff, and nothing more. And that exactly what I want out of a product like this.

Fantastic sound quality. HomePods also function as hubs for Apple Home (HomeKit). I replaced my Google hubs with Apple HomePods and could not be happier. For home automation, HomePods respond almost instantaneously (unlike the Google hubs). They look better, they sound better, and work importantly, they work better with my smart home devices. Great upgrade.

HomePod Mini - Tiny But Good?!

HomePod Mini - Best Sounding?! Dare I say crisp? The HomePod Mini has some of the best sounding audio in a tiny package for $100. It really can’t be beat. Only qualms I had is that you need to have Apple Music and Apple’s line of online services... such as Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, Apple News. You can use Spotify but Apple made it so it’s much more of a hassle to connect. The HomePod Mini isn’t a Bluetooth speaker because it doesn’t use bluetooth. It uses Apple H1 Chip which is like the Bluetooth for only Apple Products. It works really well when connecting to the HomePod. H1 is in the AirPods and that’s why the experience is seamless. Is apple made a soundbar, that would really put them up there with Sony. I make videos. This product is next. I got a YouTube Channel - https://www.youtube.com/c/techspace27 Video is on Wed of thanksgiving week!

I have two HomePod minis now and while the sound isn't phenomenal, the quality and value together are fantastic. I've tested them in a stereo configuration and it had some bugs but after resetting them, they worked great as computer speakers. I also like that now you can access the humidity and temperature data that was inaccessible before; this is handy for setting up home automations or just if you're curious about the temperature/humidity of a room.

    Better than Alexa

I was having a lot of issues with Alexa, constantly interrupting me while I was talking to people, even if I never mentioned the word, Alexa. And randomly Alexa would just start playing music even if I didn’t even say anything. So far, I’ve had good luck with the homepod device. I also like the sound much better.

I bought this open box and took a chance. I’ve never been one for home automation or smart speakers, but i trust Apple to make a solid product. While the aound isnt the *greatest*, it’s good enough. I personally snjoy having the ability to control my Belkin smart plug with my voice. Still havent figured out the automation part of it, but i’ll get there eventually. Overall a good speaker, especially if you get it on sale.

I had the homePod for a couple months and unfortunately it wasn't for me. I feel that for the price it simply does not compare to a amazon alexa or google home. It really does way less than what any of those two can do and on top of that they are both cheaper. Before this I had a google home mini that I received for free and it did much more than what the homepod could do. After I gave away my homePod I got an alexa and to this day have it and I can say the same. My biggest issue with the homepod was the fact that it really felt incapable of doing things a assistant usually should be able to do without the requirement of using your iphone. Whenever I would try to ask it a fairly simple question that it could pull from the web easily like an alexa or google home could it would always say something like "I found some results, would you like me to send them to your phone?" And yeah that is a great feature to have if I wanted to see the results on my phone but If I wanted that I really would've just picked up my phone and asked siri on there. It may just be my personal preference but I like it when the assistant can read out loud results for the question you ask them. Not force me to grab my phone to see them. I don't know if apple designed it like this on purpose or if there are people out there who prefer it to function like that but I don't really like it. It was the main reason I got rid of it. It really felt like it couldn't do anything I wanted it to. I know some people have a apple eco system that this device probably works very well to sync everything up together but if you plan on buying this thinking it's apple's version of the alexa I would suggest you take a good look at it or try it out first. It did not meet my expectations very well. I don't want to totally bash this thing, I do believe it is a good device for certain things and that there are probably good reasons to buy this device apple probably would've discontinued it if there wasn't. Since then I've gotten myself into ring security which was bought by amazon so I got kinda forced into the amazon eco system which Is why I bought an alexa. Overall the device has it's pros and cons like every other device but this one in particular has room for improvement. I would buy an alexa over this. (I gave it to my brother and I'm not sure what he thinks of it but I'll add some pictures of it.)

I bought two of these, the second because I was so satisfied with the first. I’m deep in the Apple ecosystem and wanted to start automating my house. The HomePod Mini is the cheapest way to start and you also get a great sounding speaker to boot. The quality and feel is at the usual high Apple standards and set up with HomeKit was very easy. The listening range is good enough that if I yell loud enough it was able to hear my voice on the first level but it was better to just buy another for my bedroom, especially at $100. My only wish is that it could possibly connect easily to my TVs. One other thing I liked is the security and privacy that Apple focuses on in comparison to the competitors. Definitely a great option for Apple lovers.
