    Perfect replacement for our family. We had a 2018 iMac with an Intel chip and an older hard drive. It was so slow that it was unusable. The new iMac screams. Solid state drive is a huge step up from a physical drive. It’s a bit larger than our old 21” too. Best desktop Mac we ever owned.

    I love my new iMac. My old iMac was 11 years old and really outdated. Some of my software won’t work with OS Sequoia but I expected that. I’m in process of ordering new updated software to replace what won’t work. I’ve only had the computer about 2 weeks so I’m just getting to know it. But so far I love it.

    I usually purchase older-generation technology just to save some money. Despite the fact that this still has the M3 chip, it works great. I'd recommend an iMac to anyone, but I'd even recommend older models, as I've had no problem with mine.

    In grad school way back when I used the Apple IIe and a dot matrix printer for all my assignments. Over the years I gravitated to other desktops for work and home out of necessity and my pocketbook. I'm now all in on the iMac (I have two), and I cannot say enough about how it pairs with my Apple Watch Ultra, my iPad mini, and my iPhone. Will never go back to the other desktops.
