I bought this newer model after owning a couple of older iPads. I'm enjoying the improvements - faster speed, lighter weight. Seems to be made as well as earlier models - I have no complaints.

Bought this for my wife for primary use as a streaming device while she uses the treadmill. All the apps work so easily and the sync between devices as well. Plenty of memory and a sexy look.

This iPad is awesome is does everything and more I ever expected is so fast and the battery last so long and you can multitask I have an iPad I bought 4 year ago and is awesome but this one is just so much better. I highly recommend to who ever are looking to upgrade to get this model it have eunogh memory for what ever you want to do for the price you can't go wrong.

This one replaced a 3rd generation iPad that was no longer being updated and batteries were weak. The one I just bought is much lighter and faster. If you are an iPad fan I am preaching to the choir. If not you should consider this current iPads are cheaper and you get so much more than before. I bought the 128GB version and a Logitech Keyboard cover. They work well together. I have loaded the memory with videos so I have something to watch on the plane. 5*

I upgraded from a former model. The new one has more storage and is a bit faster. Given I already had an IPad i don’t think the new one justifies spending $500 to do it. If it was $200, then yes. But, I don’t feel the improvements were worth the $500. Given the same circumstances I wouldn’t recommend spending the money to upgrade.

Just got this IPad for my husband. He had the iPad mini for a few years and wanted to get the regular size iPad. He loves this one! Very light weight, perfect size for watching movies, browsing internet,etc. all of the apps and software are updated. It was very easy to transfer all of his data and videos over to the new iPad. Also connected very easily to the Apple TV and other Apple products that we have. Overall, great purchase!

I love this iPad. Have been wanting one for a long time and glad I finally took the plunge. Easy to transport. Long battery life. Dependable and easy to use as are all Apple products.

Prior to buying 5th generation I pad I owned I pad 4. It was terrific but had very little GB and hearing about 5th generation, it was an excellent purchase. With president week end sale and a generous trade in on my iIt is a new and improved version of the original I pad 4 and having 128 GB I don't have to worry about space. It does everything that my other pad did,!But faster, lighter and know it was an excellent purchase

I recieved this Ipad as a gift and it has been an excellent product. The retina display is really nice, battery life is excellent and the camera is much better than my previous Ipad.

Upgraded from a 32GB Ipad 3. This is so much faster with A9 chip and upgraded wifi chipset for 5 Ghz wifi band, as it will download at my max cable modem speed of 80Mhz. This would be a good 1st tablet and a good replacement for an iPad 1, 2, or 3.

needed an iPad that had more storage and bigger screen. so glad i purchased this one!!! and it was on sale too. i have been editing my GoPro videos since i bought this iPad. love it!

I purchased this product because my old iPad was running slow and only had 64 GB of storage space. This iPad is much faster and much lighter to carry around. Highly recommend it.

My first tablet was the iPad Mini. It no longer allows upgrades. This latest iPad is so much faster and the screen so much brighter and sharper. I like the ability to multi task.

I've upgraded from iPad 3 to this current generation model (iPad 5), and it's much much better. It's very light to carry, better resolution, and the best of all, it's very fast.

Bought this IPad for my 80 year old grandmother and we both love it! It’s light weight so she can carry it around with no problem and big enough that she can use it with ease!

Apple keeps doing a good job with their products. This IPad is no exception. Screen Quality is excellent, and camera is excellent. My 12 year old son can now download all the games, apps and movies he needs for a long trip to the East Coast. Battery life was great and lasted 8 hours of constant gaming and video use, and still had 24% remaining when we finally landed. Highly recommend a good case. We have an Urban Armour Case.

Item charges quickly and there is plenty of room for apps. Battery lasts a long time. Keypad is very responsive and is a great tablet if you're looking for an apple product.

I am a big fan of Apple products. It is a little more heavy than the Air but still great. My daughter loves the larger picture than the mini. Nice to see it more affordable.

iPad is iPad. The only aggravating shortcoming is the low capacity 16Gb entry level unit which requires constant space management attention. However, the 128Gb model can be had at sale time at a very decent price. I was able to purchase this unit at $80 off list. Coupled with $130 trade-in that Best Buy offers for a unit in good condition, the new unit was had for $219 + tax. The old unit was just about to come off warranty so it seemed like an excellent deal; 23 month old 16Gb model for brand new 128 Gb model with 8 x the memory, newer processor and upgraded mostly everything else and folks, we've got a winner!
