Switched back to iPad after our old Android tablet (Nexus 2013) bit the dust. Takes a bit getting used to the added weight but the screen is great. No complaints about the performance as there haven't been any cases of stuttering or delays (Minecraft, watching videos, etc).

I love my iPad, I purchased this one on sale because my wife and son use mine so much, we needed another. I paid over $500 for a similarly spec'd one 2 years ago. It still runs solidly, running apps, videos, and web browsers smoothly. Much better than my kindle fire.

This is my fifth iPad, (one 1st Gen Mini, which I still use. Great e-reader.) and all things being equal probably the best available. Factor in speed, beautiful screen, (Big deal on the non-laminated screen and anti-glare, virtually non issues. People are even complaining about the 2 vs 4 speakers. Man, they're loud and you can hear BASS!!) and that very attractive price, and it's the winner in my book. I've had it for 1 1/2 months and enjoy it tremendously. You cannot go wrong unless you MUST have the larger 12.9" PRO screen or need the ipencil. A great upgrade unless you have a pro or Air 2. Air? tossup if in nice shape or you go for a refurb. Even then I'll take the new one. Incidentally, I ROUTINELY get 12-13 hours of battery. (Screen at 50-60% so it doesn't blind me!) My guess is apple didn't want to give it more of an edge and move those on the fence buying the 2017. Bigger battery equals more battery life. You can't go wrong.

I used iPad mini 2 before I got this iPad 2017. I loved the mini's portable size but needed a bigger screen to read music sheets better. The inexpensive but still powerful 9.7" iPad 2017 was perfect for my needs. Portable, affordable, and even smart! Thanks, Apple. Well done.

I bought this iPad to replace an older model that was starting to lose functionality. This iPad is very good. I like the increased storage space and the faster processor. This iPad is much lighher than my previous version. The screen is excellent and colors are vivid.

Anyone owning an iPad or iPhone laments the ability to store data (photos, music, etc.) on their device. Luckily for me, my previous edition iPad was experiencing technical issues i.e. the screen was losing its ability to maintain an acceptable level of brightness. Good thing for me, my local Best Buy was offering trade-in credit so off we went to our trusted BB Retailer. After holding/exploring the "new" iPad it was obvious it was time for a change. Our BB sales person (after describing the upgraded features / benefits), we moved forward with the purchase. Although there are many reasons to purchase an iPad, the one that speaks to me the loudest is storage. No more worries about running out of space (prior model had only 16GB of storage) and having to constantly delete data to make room for something new. Having said that, if you're in the market for an iPad, check out the newly improved iPad, you won't be disappointed.

This IPad offers all the basics of an IPad at a competitive price(329$ For the 32 GB model.) I was very pleased with this IPad, and the brighter screen is perfect for watching videos on Netflix and Youtube etc. At this price point the IPad makes a perfect gift for anyone.

I had an iPad through work which I had to give up when I retired. It was difficult not having it to grab when I wanted to look up info. Tried an Android product for 2 days. Could not adjust to it. Returned it and found this at Best Buy for a reasonable price. Love it!

Bought as an upgrade to my 3rd generation iPad.. so much quicker. The price could not be better at about half what I paid for my original iPad. Fits my needs perfectly. I don’t need the extra bells and whistles of the iPad Pro (or the extra cost!) love this!

This iPad is very fast with almost no bloat ware, it's the perfect size, it has the fingerprint sensor (which is super fast), SUPER battery life ( 8,827mah), and well, as a first time iOS user I REALLY enjoy Apple's operating system. Great tablet for first time users!

I am not very tech savvy and was hesitant to purchase the IPad. However, I tried simpler devices and found that those are more difficult to use than the IPad. I have been actually learning and feeling very confident when using this device. It practically is fool proof. More pricey than I wanted but I found a "open box" IPad for a fraction of a "new box" and was pleased with my purchase at $300.00 including a Microsoft office 365 in a bundle. I added a IPad slim folio case which has a key board for an added $49.00 on sale and off I went. So don't think you have to buy high price for n I pad and accessories. I am more satisfied with my new IPad purchase and the money spent. By the way, the box was in perfect condition and so was the IPad. That combined with the ease of use. I feel like an expert! Also , knowing that I have Geek support when I need it is priceless. Will definitely shop "open box" again.

Got this IPad on a Black Friday sale,for my 9 year old daughter's birthday, for a great price! She absolutely loves it and does not put it down! Not only for fun but also helps with her school work because we can download apps that her teacher recommends!

At under $400, this iPad is a jewel! Great screen resolution, very fast, and plenty of "juice". It doesn't have some of the "bells and whistles" (like keyboard and pencil capabilities), but it does the essential things extremely well. This is the best iPad I've owned.

Bought this latest iPad during the Black Friday sales. Great iPad at a great price. Needed something faster than my old iPad 2. I hated that Apple updated the iOS that rendered my old iPad uasless.

Im glad that Apple made such affordable iPad! It is fast, has great screen and price less then $300 with taxes on this holidays. You dont have to spend a lot of money for the Pro version that is priced over $800! Its a great iPad for the price / quality!

This is a replacement for an older iPad 2. Works almost as fast as the Pro and cost so much less. Well worth the money and cheaper than the Air 2 that is slower. Only down side is there are not that many cases that fit it properly. We had to go with a Air 1 case.

I gave this to my mom for Christmas and she loves it. She had a galaxy tablet before and the picture quality was not as great. My mother is an older lady so she enjoys how easy it is to get the hang of apple products. She loves the size to watch movies.

This is our 5th ipad (three for myself over the years, two for my wife including this new one), the price on sale for this iPad was excellent, well below retail on a one day sale at Best Buy. This is the 2018 9.7" iPad, I have the 9.7" iPad Pro, and it is very similar with this iPad at a much, much lower price. I have had iPads since the first generation and have been really happy with them all, it works well integrated with our iPhones, and our Macs, especially for email and messages. The iPads never really wear out (we are still using the first generation iPad with the grandkids), but they definitely become out of date because of an old slow processor paired with the newer iOS and then not being able to update either iOS or applications at all, so a brand new iPad is always a joy because it works with all the current software.

Call it a tablet an Ipad or whatever, this thing is awesome. I prefer many of the apps on this over a regular tablet or PC. Very portable and esy to use. I don't really care for the Apple control of everything, but that does not take away from the functionality.

Bought this for my wife...she had a iPad 2..this thing is way faster..she is amazed on how fast it loads. This model is slimmer and fits her hands better...the weight is better also. Apple makes great products and Best Buy has the best deals on Apple products...
