My 5 year old iPad 3 was needing a charge every day , I paid 500 bucks back then , this new iPad is faster, smarter and safer with this new ios10 ,that the iPad 3 did not have , and its cheeper too..... good battery life and lighter..... and Best Buy will give me bonus points to help me buy a virtual reality head set..... apple prices are the same every where, so why not Best Buy?

I got this to replace an ipad air. I needed more memory and this fit the bill. It works the same just a little faster and more memory. Works great!

I was in the market for a larger tablet. I found myself using my iPad Mini so much for videos​ that I thought a larger screen would be helpful. I was looking into the iPad Air 2 when the new iPad 2017 was announced. It has a better processing chip and as usual, newer is almost always better with electronics. I didn't see the need to pay for the iPad Pro since I'm just a casual user so this was about perfect. I wasn't​ expecting a huge difference here which turned out to be a good thing because there isn't much. My Mini 3 already had iOS 10 so most the interface is almost identical. After I imported all my settings, bookmarks and apps from iCloud, the only big difference was the size of the screen. Although, I do believe this new iPad has a better display. The images seem much brighter and more colorful. The larger screen has also helped with reading. Otherwise, there's really nothing to complain about here. Web pages load up quickly, videos run smoothly, and there's more than enough power to play any game I can throw at it. In conclusion, I'm perfectly satisfied with this new iPad. I'm not by any means blown away by it, it doesn't make the Air 2 or Mini obsolete and it doesn't set any new standard for tablets but it does everything you could ask or expect it to in its class and surprising price range which should be $329. Highly recommend for casual users.

This is the fastest iPad I have owned. Since I have iCloud account, I do not need a large drive so it is perfect for me. it is light thin and fast.

I only buy apple and this I pad is THE BEST!! It does so much and more it is truly a good product fast and fun and it does so many amazing things.

This is my first iPad and I love it. I was always an Android person until my business required me to switch to all Apple products. The fact that Apple creates the hardware and the operating system puts this far beyond any Android tablet. You don't have to worry if the manufacturer of your tablet or phone is going to release the latest operating system for the model you have. I have had it a year now and it is just as fast as the day I bought it, unlike a few of the tablets I bought in the past that would be almost non-usable after a year of usage.
