I love this. It was about time that I gave him a new iPad. He was still using second generation iPad mini. This one is much faster and the screen is larger which means I can use it as well. Got this for a great price and it serves my basic needs which is browse the web and watch Hulu and netflix and YouTube

IPad mini died following 3 years of use. What to replace it with? After exhausting all the Ipad reviews I was set on the IPad 5. The speed, screen resolution, keypad updates & added sign in security coupled with the ease of transferring my mini backup make this a wonderful upgrade from the outdated mini!

I brought this as a gift for my wife. She was looking for something to read digital books on, play games, surf web, and was portable. She's had an iPhone for several years, so the transition was pretty easy. The screen is vibrant and the Retina display is great. Finger tracking is still the best in the business and it's easy to open apps and navigate the device. Fingerprint login/security is great and works well. Device itself is relatively lightweight and very portable. People with large hands can easily hold device with one hand (great for reading). Sound is good and has decent clarity for a device of this size. Overall, this has been a great purchase! My wife loves it and uses it daily!

I recently purchased this iPad primarily because it was on sale and because I needed an upgrade from my original iPad Mini. I use my MacBook for most everything I do, but was wanting something smaller for quick email checks and web browsing. This iPad takes care of that and a lot more. Processing speed and display are more than adequate. I was considering purchasing the Pro model, but for my needs, this turned out to be a better option because of the savings. If you’re on the fence because you’re concerned about the memory size or processing speed, I would say this model would be sufficient for most users. Especially if you are upgrading from an older generation.

I needed to upgrade my 16GB iPad, so after doing some research and determining my personal needs (I’m not using it for business), I decided on the 32GB with WiFi. I love the space gray because of the black frame around the screen. I also thought the price was reasonable. I would definitely recommend!

Wife had a midlife crisis, and at 43 became a full-time college student. We upgraded from a second-generation iPad and couldn’t be happier! This thing is super fast compared to what we had and the wife loves it! This iPad may not dazzle you with gadgets, but it will delight you with it’s performance!

I originally had an iPad 2, and it finally died on me after 4 years. I waited for this iPad to come out, and had a chance to get it from Best Buy for a good deal. It was cheaper than some of the reliable competitors when it was released. Now this product is just as fast as my iPhone 7 for surfing the web, great clarity, quality size and durability. Its very lightweight, and I'm liking its size very much. I was debating getting an old mini 4 model for travel, but it was more expensive and few options, memory wise, to choose from. I didn't know if the screen would be right, but its perfect for me. Its compact enough for traveling with and do work on, and still nice to read an e-book on.

I purchased this product for my mom having had one for myself for a year. I love it. Screen quality is excellent and love the portability of it. The price has come down with the addition of the Pro models and this item is now a steal. Highly recommend if you don’t need the latest and greatest model.

We have the older IPad and after my wife kept referring to it as a dinosaur (it must have a lead battery in it the darn thing is so heavy) I relented and bought the new IPad. She loves it and all is right in the world once again. It has brighter colors, is faster and wait for it, it's lighter!!!!!

I love my new Apple iPad! It is fast and perfect size. It is lightweight and easy to use. I highly recommend. I used to have the Apple iPad mini 1st generation and this is an amazing upgrade!

As a first time iPad user I'm loving this new tablet. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the more expensive models, like the iPad Pro, but it is sleek and light weight and good for reading, watching Netflix, social media use, and light game play. Which is exactly what I was looking for.

I use this tablet for typing in model numbers on google and pulling up pdf files on HVAC equipment. Yes i could use my iphone, but i like the larger screen to eliminate the scrolling back and forth. Very pleased with the performance and price of this tablet. Bought it on sale and saved 60 dollars

I bought this for my wife who was having issues with her Kindle. She absolutely loves the screen size and the speed of this. She has a laptop but loves having the tablet available at her finger tips quickly to look up recipes in the kitchen or just sit and quickly browse the web or social media.

I got this iPad on black Friday, and it was 100% worth it. Did not need all the high end features of the iPad Pro so this is perfect for surfing the web checking email etc. I was completely surprised at how fast this device is, I would recommend anyone to buy this iPad especially for the price.

While techies, salespersons, and everyone in between is trying to push the Pro models off on everybody, the average person does not write or draw on an iPad on a normal basis so this iPad will do just fine. This is a cheapER iPad but is NOT a cheap tablet by any means and far exceeds most Android tablets. If you are looking for a new tablet that is competitive but still affordable, this iPad will get the job done.

Have had an iPad for a few years. Was looking to upgrade and saw this in an ad. It was a great price. Was easy to set up and use. Use it mainly for emails and reading Ebooks. However after using it to take a picture and seeing the great color and clear picture, I will be using it even more.

This iPad has everything the average user needs a great screen, fast processor and phenominal battery life. It does everything you want and even works great with productivity apps.

I was happy to find this 5th Generation iPad at Best Buy. I couldn’t believe the price too. I wasn’t sure why they discontinued the Air editions, but this one was so lightweight I wasn’t able to tell the difference between them and this version. Great colors and speed, so happy with this one.

When I needed a new tablet, there was no question that I would buy an iPad. It is a lightweight way to red multiple newspapers, watch tv shows I've recorded on my DVR as well as through streaming sources, read library books and magazines, as well as of course web, email, music, and podcasts.

This iPad is light weight. Reliable and with excellent battery life. I was not an apple regular user in the past but their products including this IPad made it clear that when reliability matters the most, you should consider an apple product even if you will end paying more up front
