As expected my new iPad performed and was able to complete any task I threw at it. Images were crisp, speed was excellent, and it does appear to hold a charge well.

Purchased this iPad on sale during Black Friday to use in the home for streaming TV, movies, games, and web browsing. For basic day-to-day tasks this tablet fits the bill. I tested this iPad vs the Pro 10.5 version and the Pro definitely has more power behind it and smoother graphics...I'm also expecting an updated iPad model to be released sometime in Spring 2018. The upgrades on this version are pretty standard but was hoping for a better processor, sleeker design, and bit better graphics. Ideally wish Apple would make a model in-between this and the Pro for ~$499 for people who want more juice in their iPad for movies and games but don't need the bells and whistles for productivity tasks, e-pencil, keyboard, and apps that use high rendering. All in all this tablet is still very snappy for most tasks, Retina screen is best in class, and iOS is the best tablet UI around. I will say the iPad 9.7 is the best tablet value you can get.

Love my iPad 5th generation, it goes everywhere with me. The memory is great and I love the lighter weight and the size. I only carry a purse it will fit in.

The iPad is above all the others in quality and performance. Finally the price is more competitive. The bottom line is there is nothing better for the price.

Great, responsive tablet. Good sounding built in speakers. No lag in any of the games or apps so far. The screen looks very clear, and the camera works well.

Bought this for my wife for Christmas to replace a first gen iPad mini. It’s faster than my iPad Air with more memory and a lower price (seriously jealous)

This as bought for a 5 yr old, and they took to it immediately! Its cameras are great, weight is light, and it’s si simple to use and find your way around.

Upgraded from a 16GB IPAD because of storage issues. Now I can download more games. Also it is much faster and holds the battery charge much longer.

Easy to use. Quick to view my emails and respond to them. Also, easy to view news, etc. Convenient and light to handle and the price is reasonable.

Homework can often be repetitive; however, the iPad has made my sons homework a bit more interesting by allowing him to explore more than a text book can ever offer. The screen size and weight of the pad is great, as it allows him to carry this product everywhere he goes. Great resolution and screen responsiveness. The update offers great options to stay connected to other “Apple” devises and multitask in ways you could never imagine. Apple continues to pave the way for future practitioners in education. Thanks for keeping my sons education interesting.

This iPad is lightning fast and well worth the money. it is thiin and compact and lighter than our last one (2nd generation). Well worth the money

Have had a mini for years but was time to upgrade to a larger pad with updated ios. Lighting fast on my home wifi system and was easy to set up.

I had an older version where I worked so when I retired I bought the newest version. I love it. Nice size screen, light weight, and easy to use.

We are (or were) an android family but I needed a full size tablet that did not weigh much. When the new iPad 2017 came out, although hesitant, I orded it. I LOVE IT!!! It's fast, light, and easy to use. I love the apps (ibooks, numbers, etc) and the templates. I find myself using it every single day. Now I'm working on converting the other family members in apple users.

I have been wanting to get a new iPad for quite some time. I fell in love with my Gen1 years ago, but it was time for an upgrade. I have had multiple tablets over the past few years, Android based, Windows based and now, once again iOS based. The iPad is easily my favorite of the three. Its fast, responsive, has great battery life and I can transfer my settings and apps over from my iPhone. I use it for work and leisure. Great for musicians (online music reading), gamers (online tutorials while playing) and everyone else in between.

Bought this for a grandchild and she loved it. Easy to use and worked great right out of the box...you would expect this from Apple. What made this iPad special is that it was a iPad 2 with all the upgrades built in. This made it a more reasonable purchase with just the right amount of whistles and bells vs. having to buy an iPad with more features then really needed for this youngster such as a pro or generation 3 or 4.

It does anything you want it to, minus the Apple Pencil features that the iPad Pros offer.

An excellent value iPad for less money! I highly recommend the iPad 2017 for anybody that is searching for an iPad with a budget. This iPad reminds me so much of my previous iPad (Air 1), it's very close to the same size of the Air 1,it's a lot cheaper and it's new. The graphics quality on the screen may be slightly lower, but it's not much more than lower screen clarity. I was shopping for a used iPad when I came across this newer model and I'm very glad I did. Saved a lot of money and got to purchase it brand new.

Got this for my 87 year old dad to replace his old laptop. He is really enjoying the great screen, quick action, features. Easy to use.
