Anyone in the market for a tablet for an average user should consider this tablet first. On the hardware side, this 128GB (over the 32GB) is the better option for someone not sharing the device. The power of this iPad will be more than sufficient for most users—you shouldn’t need the pro unless the user will be doing high-end apps like the upcoming Adobe Photoshop. Also, it’s nice to have the fingerprint security. It makes unlocking the device and getting access to things an effortless experience. There’s apps that can truly allow an average computer user to only need this for 99% of their needs. And, if an iPad user wants the best experience, take full advantage of iCloud. It can be better than having a traditional computer.

Our 7 year old iPad was struggling. Memory full, not updating old apps. It was time. Great upgrade! Charges faster, lasts longer, half pound lighter, lots more storage. Great sale, Best Buy!

This is a smaller version of my 2nd generation IPad but much faster and easy to use. I needed to update since my old IPads won't update any longer. Price was great value for an Apple product!

I upgraded to this iPad from a 2 year old iPad Pro that was out of memory. It is nice that the pencil now works with the non-pro version of the iPad. Faster processor and more memory at a decent price point.

Similar to previous versions of the iPad, such as form factor and weight. If you currently have one, this will not feel much different. Battery life, processing speed, and overall performance are better.

I purchased this for me Mother-in-Law. I have a PRO and she wanted to learn. I was pleasantly surprised by the speed, quality of the screen, and ease of first time set up. This is a great tablet.

This iPad has lots of space and is so user friendly. I haven’t got to try the pen yet but I hope to get one. Perfect size. I really like it. .

I spend 2 months debating comparing and reading reviews for a tablet. Thought I originally wanted the iPad Pro, then ended up purchasing a Surface Pro, after a week I decided I totally hated it. I had previously used for the past 5 yrs an I pad Mini with the most recent being an iPad Mini 4. I wanted a bigger screen but also wanted to use for travel. The Surface Pro was way too heavy. I had originally wanted the iPad pro but to be truthful I did not need all the bells and whistles and would not use if for what it really is intended for so I took at look at this. For the price savings it does everything I want, it considerably faster than my mini iPad and it will be great for overseas travel.

This IPad is fast, lots of storage, and easy to use. It is thinner and sleek. I really like the enhancements over prior IPads. As someone over 65 this is easy to use for me and should be easy for all to use

I needed to replace my old ipad mini that had served me well for many years. I really needed the iPad to have a lot more memory for doing classes online and allow me to get the newest ios and apps. I bought the 128 GB version. I also liked the larger 9. 7 inch screen which seems to be large enough for my needs. So far it has done everything that I have needed with some extra benefits. I found I can get some apps for simple programming as well as storing the classes on the iPad for offline use. I've loaded a number of classes and so far still have a lot of memory left for more. So far I have no complaints and can't think why I would need a higher end iPad like the pro. I love it.

You don't need me to tell you that the iPad is awesome. What you might want to know is whether this iPad, which is on the lower end of the price range, is sufficient. I use Adobe products at work, and honestly, I haven't tried them yet on this device. Adobe has recently come out with a new version of Photoshop that has been re-written specifically for iPad. I do not believe that it will run on this device. You need iPad Pro as a minimum spec. There's also a few other new Adobe apps that will probably require iPad Pro. So...if you are a professional designer, you might need to look at the Pro. However, Adobe Spark and Adobe Rush, which are both new products intended for social media influencers and YouTubers. If you are one of those, this should work fine. Rush allows you to quickly edit and post video, and Spark is for quick creation of media pages. This is what I will be using it for. The screen is beautiful, the built-in speakers are sufficiently loud, and the processor is nimble. If you are using this to binge watch your favorite shows, it is perfectly sufficient. What I like about this is it didn't cost a mint (and is considerably less money than my iPhone 10), so I can carry it around, take it on trips, let it get bumped and bruised, and not worry to much about it as an investment (I still put it in a nice case). Therefore, it is perfectly suited for everyday use and some light creative content creation, social media, etc. However, I will continue to use my desktop for all the heavy Adobe work.

The iPad is easy to use and set up. I like the sharpness of the screen and ease of the touch pad. The large memory allows for as many photos as you demean of. For all this is the best and easiest to use.

This replaced a second generation we had for 8 years. Obvioulsly it's an improvement in every way. Lighter, faster and better battery. Apple still has the best tablet on the market.

Bought this on a Black Friday deal and cannot be happier... the processor is definitely faster than my Mini and upgraded my storage to 128gb... set up was quick and easy... I love apple products

I wanted to upgrade to a newer model, and am really happy that I did. It has plenty of storage, and a good camera.Its the perfect size to hold on my lap while watching tv. I use it every day.

Easy to use and many features. Good screen. Great battery life. Pairs nicely with Apple Pencil and other accessories. Great for taking notes and other academic-related activities.

Love this iPad , my old iPad (over 6 years old) was still working but had slowed down due to lack of space. This one has more than enough to last for years to come. It’s lighter and easier to use.

I was looking for a cheap, large GB, bigger iPad than the 16GB mini I won a few years ago so I can download movies... I didn’t need all the high-tech of the pro so this one was just right. It’s not HUGE but it’s bigger than the mini just enough so I can really enjoy movies on plane rides and whatnot. I’m glad it has Touch ID because it was annoying since I have the iPhone 8 forgetting I HAD to type in my passcode...this is a nice feature for sure! I haven’t fully checked out all the new features since I really just got it for the purpose of watching movies (I travel a lot). The Black Friday sale of $329 was a good deal for this 128GB iPad and I’m quite happy with it!

The iPad does everything it's supposed to do. My wife really enjoys using it instead of her phone all the time now. The bigger screen, camera and speed make it great for what she uses it for.

So I bought this almost a month ago as my older iPads were no longer supported by Apple (I still have a Gen 1 lying about, which is good for watching movies and not much else). About a week ago my laptop for work died and I have been using this as a temporary substitute along with a Bluetooth keyboard/case and it has saved the day. I can’t quite do everything on this, but I was surprised at how much I could get done and it forced me to learn some new ways to use this in a work setting. It won’t totally replace my laptop, but I can see myself using this more as a travel tool and leaving the laptop for the more specialized tasks.
