needed to update old ipad. mostly used by child. much faster, more memory, and screen is incredible. highly recommended.

I purchased this to replace an IPAD Air II that my son had broken and very happy with it. I use this for work and personal use. Works great as a second monitor to my laptop when I am traveling using the DUET App. I definitely recommend a case (Targus Versaview and similar options on Amazon from FINTE work well. I also recommend the ZAGG Glass Screen protector, they work great...have the Geek Squad put it on and save the aggravation. This is my 3rd IPAD and I use it daily.

I am in 100% with Apple. Phones, TV, Tablets and other sundry items. I move my new IPad. It is a replacement for a cracked IPad Air that is almost 5 years old. The screen is like magic in comparison between the two. I no longer use my PC. This is my computer, TV and everything media based. I even make and take phone calls on it. Getting it on sale was even more special.

I bought this on a recent sale, chose it over the iPad Pro because it is the first iPad to work with the pencil. Pencil, Logitech keyboard case and iPad cost just over $500 and has become a replacement laptop for me. With cloud storage for docs, 128GB is a lot of space, can carry most important reference docs around with me. I tether to my iPhone, saved a lot not buying LTE model. Very responsive and sharp screen, brighter and crisper than laptop, much less obtrusive in meetings.

Always wanted an iPad. I decided to buy a new 6th gen. I love it. Easy to set up and use. Very fast also and plenty of memory

This is my third iPad and has the fastest processor and great battery life. The 128G storage seems to help a lot too.

Apple makes great user friendly products. Lots of storage for downloading movies. Speed and screen quality are great.

Great iPad. This is my 3rd iPad over the years, and I am very happy with the upgrade. If you don’t need the latest and greatest, ie:the pro, this definitely fits the bill. Very fast and the battery lasts a long time. It is replacing an older iPad 2, so it is like a rocket compared to that. I also have a mini, and it “was” my fast one. Very satisfied with it and would highly recommend. Not as fast or capable as the pro, but at roughly a third of the price, great value.

The ipad continues to benefit from evolutionary development, and the newest model with the A12 is no different. This was purchased to replace an older, damaged A8 model and the major upgrade was a boost to performance and storage (16GB -> 128GB). Apps open and run much faster (understatement) and the additional storage is a plus since the older model was offloading to icloud daily as the 16GB had long been filled. All in all, it performs as expected.

I know, I know: fancier iPads do exist. But I do believe this device is Apple's best value for a tablet. It's smooth, runs extra fast, and with an Apple pencil, is an absolute game-changer regarding creative expression. Taking notes during meetings with the pencil is incredible, while using it to scribble thoughts while deep in a project keeps me focused and on task. A must buy for anyone wanting a powerful, portable device that's reliable and won't break the bank.

IF you are like me- the average joe who doesn't need the Ipad Pro but wants the pencil - get this IPAD The screen is beautiful and very bright and clear (retina) and the IPAD pencil makes it enjoyable to use. I find myself taking notes and drawing and coloring because of it. I've had previous IPads before and it felt like using a giant Iphone but having the pencil really does wonders. For the price of this versus a pro- get this if you are not a animator or artist.

I'm a College student that was in search of a fast, portable, and durable tablet to hold all my ebooks and other documents for class. After looking at other tablets, I found the Apple Ipad to hit all the marks. Great sized Tablet with a beautiful display and with a lot of storage if you invest a little more into that area. Overall great student tablet.

Outside of my computer, I have everything else Google (phone, now TV, router) but there is just not a tablet out there that compares in quality to the iPad. In an ideal world, I would get the Pro or Air, but since these do get slow over time, no better investment than the standard iPad... in fact, trying to buy another one to replace my 5 yo mini, but everywhere is sold out of the 8th gen ipad!
