This iPad replaces an iPad 2. It is so much better! Smaller, lighter, sharper, faster. What else can I say?

First of all it is light weight compared to my old one! It is faster, easier to read than my old one.

Has lots of room for movies and has a very fast processor perfect size and very vivid colors

I purchased this during the big apple sale and even price adjusted after. Ive always had android phones and tablets but my tablet was so slow. i am amazed at how fast this ipad is. I even use it to play fortnite with my kids and my ipad loads faster than my sons ps4 that's hardwired into the network. i also got the crayon separately that allows my son to draw and me to use it for note taking and signing documents without printing.

I bought one of these for myself and then 2 for my kids. Shortly after, I "upgraded" to a pro, but hardly notice the difference. The pro doesn't seem any quicker and it is hard to even tell them apart. The laminate screen on the pro is only perceivable to me if I am looking for it. The only benefit to the pro for me is the ability to add the keyboard. Other than that, I say save the money and go with this one. Great value.

decided it was time to upgrade my gen 1 iPad. greats features I like it and glad I spent the money on an upgrade, much more storage, faster processor, sharper display. Only thing I am not liking about it, is there is no switch to silence it. Even when turning the sound setting off, some alerts will still be quite audible. Which I do not like when I am sitting in class and my tablet starts making all sorts of noise...

My previous iPad wasn’t operating at a desired speed and it wasn’t due to the iPad itself other than the fact that as apps are updated and enhanced, the older technology can not perform as well since the upgraded software uses the newer technology. Apps that would take 30-45 seconds to load previously now load in 3-5 seconds! I also enjoy having the fingerprint login and the ease of switching between apps.

First let me say, I am not an apple user. I primarily purchased this so I could download books and music. This iPad can do so many things and it is easy to use. I chose the Gold color, which is very pretty. The machine is sleek and light. It slips in my purse and can be used anywhere. The programs are easy to use and it takes great pictures. I am happy my children talked me into an iPad over the android I had prior. Great purchase!

replaced an older (2012) version ipad with the newest one available. it is definitely much better than the old one. it processes a lot faster, has a brighter and clearer screen, feels lighter and has plenty of storage. for me the upgrade was definitely worth it.

Decided to upgrade to a new 9.7, 128gb iPad since my 9.7 16gb iPad was getting very slow and I wasn't able to make any more IOS updates. I guess you can say it's antiquated but still worked. I love my new iPad. It's quick and the picture quality of the screen is crisp and clear with the new Retina display. I also purchased the slim folio keyboard case and glass screen cover for it. Very pleased with my purchases.

I cannot say enough about this iPad itself except that I personally have arthritus and it easily slipped from my hands. I bought a rubbery case for cheap that immediately solved the problem. I love using it to photograph products for my eBay, Mercari and Poshmark sales, just set the format to SQUARE and wallah, save 50% of the editing time, and I get awesome results. i'D DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT TO FRIENDS.

I’ve been using the iPad for a little less than a week, and I can report that it feels fast, lasts all day (Apple claims 10 hours of battery life, and it gets close), and runs everything I’ve thrown at it well. There is a speed difference between the iPad and the iPad Pro, but it’s not so great that I think anybody who buys this will care — or maybe even notice. (We’re talking an extra half-second to launch an app.)

I was worried that integrating my previous iPad apps and files would be difficult. But the method provided by Apple was easy and seamless. The new iPad has the same size screen but a slightly smaller size. It is much faster, runs more apps and does an excellent job on my primary use, as an electronic flight bag. I really like the file storage size, and have enjoyed it on long trips streaming Amazon Prime TV shows.

I purchased this iPad to replace a Samsung 7 inch tablet. I probably didn't need this much storage, but the Samsung made me decide more is better than not enough. The iPad is wonderful with good battery life and a beautiful screen. The deal included a three month free iTunes package wherein I can download up to fifty million songs so I'm glad I chose this amount of storage, especially since it was on sale.

Fantastic i use it to watch netflix at night. Great ipad.

Is easy to use and take good pictures and the cloud is very good for storage..!!!
