I bought this as an upgrade for my aging iPad 4, and this is my third iPad. It’s nice and fast, and the screen is good and sharp. I decided not to spend the money on the pro models as this one is pro enough for me. It has the FaceTime camera and Touch ID which allows it to have Apple Pay for web sites and apps that support it. If you have or get an Apple Pencil, it supports that as well. It has a faster processor equivalent to the iPad version of the iPhone 7, which means that it is capable of viewing HEVC 4K video (and at least theoretically capable of editing it if you get it on the device), but the camera is an older camera that shoots no more than 1080p. For the most part, it feels very good and solid. The screen doesn’t feel as solid as my old iPad 4, but then again, this iPad is quite a bit less expensive for much more storage space. The screen also seems a bit smaller than the iPad 4, but it’s still big enough. Overall, I’m pleased with it and am really glad that Apple now has a great iPad available for this price.

The title of this review is a bit flippant but that should not dissuade anyone from purchasing this product. We are all familiar with iPads and this is the latest version of the basic iPad. It replaced my wife’s iPad Air 2 and the screen is brighter and sharper and the camera is better in addition to having a faster processor. We purchased the model with more internal memory (128GB) as it will get used for downloading movies and TV series and for photography.

Excellent build quality. Ultra portable. The sound quality is great especially in Apple earpods. The graphics are good and the touch screen is very responsive. I have nothing negative to say about this iPad. It is an amazing product and a very useful tool for creativity and productivity. The processor is super fast and the 128GB storage is more than enough storage for my apps, music and movies. I would recommend getting a screen protector just for peace of mind.

I'd wanted a tablet for awhile and finally pulled the trigger. I've had iphones for the last 10 years so I was already very familiar with iOS. Set up was a breeze as I just needed to have my phone near it and it transferred all my Apple account info. The screen looks amazing. I will mostly use this for web browsing and streaming and it more than fits the bill. I did pony up for the extra storage. If you plan to save movies/tv shows to it, its definitely a necessity.

I’ve had a 16GB Apple Mini 2 for about 3 years, and knew that it was time for an upgrade, but I was so hesitant on switching to a larger screen tablet. I’m SO glad I did because this tablet is AMAZING! It has 8 times more storage space than my last tablet, it’s processing speed is much faster, the screen quality is amazing, and I love how I’m able to have up two apps at once. I could go on and on about how much I love this tablet

I traded in my old second generation iPad due to space requirements and charge cord connectivity. I’m very, very happy with my new iPad snd it’s 128 g storage capacity. The camera, screen resolution, and processor speed are fantastic! I use this for looking up anything and have never had I freeze or loose WiFi connection. The sound quality is symphonic when used with my ear pods. I highly recommended this new generation of iPads!

My wife loves it. Fast response, great screen, lots of memory. Better than my old Galaxy Tab.

We are long time Apple users but this is the first time buying an IPad. So far it has been great! We actually bought three! The screen is a good size and there should be plenty of memory for what we would like to use them for. The price was great too so we couldn't pass them up. My husband plans on using his on his deployment to watch movies and listen to music so hopefully this will work better than a bulky laptop.

this ipad replaced original ipad mini (2014) 16 g. i got this only for 2 reasons, 1 - larger screen but not too big 2 - faster than old mini this ipad is faster and better viewing screen, battery life is great and charging time is good. it's been little over a month and i'm satisfied just like the old mini. old mini was getting bit slow since mid 2017, battery and charging function was still good.

Ample storage. Great camera. Battery life lasts. Easy to use. Speaker is good.

I like the newest iPad. It's easy to use; light weight and has the best camera yet. I have the iPad1 (which Apple no longer supports upgrades on); the iPad2 and now this iPad. I use my ipads mainly for pictures, but learned with the iPad1 I still need to back them up on another external device...the iPad1 won't even upload to the cloud due to the version issue. Anyway, I like this one and am enjoying using it.

What's not to love about an Ipad! This one has lots of memory and a cool color. Having wifi is also a plus. It's definitely an upgrade from my old one. It's easy to use and can sync with my phone. I like using the ipad for the bigger screen when I'm reading or doing work. It's also more comfortable to hold than my phone.

I almost bought the Pro model which has apple keyboard connectivity but upon further consideration decided on this one. Best Buy had a great Black Friday price. I take it to construction job sites and couldn't justify the additional money for the pro model. The screen is good and it works with the old style Apple Pencil which is what I needed. A little heavy and not as fast as the pro but a good choice for me and probably for most people who don't need the advanced features of the Pro model. I strongly recommend getting the 128GB model.

So, my daughter has had an ipad for several years now, and I've resisted just because I didn't want to drink the Apple kool-aid, but I have to say, I wish I'd gotten one sooner. This thing is fantastic, and paired with an aluminum bluetooth keyboard, it's just like a small laptop. Which is exactly what I wanted. I'm a writer, and wanted to have something portable that would let me use my Scrivener program - which ruled out a Chromebook. I'm used to the set up of the ipad from being the troubleshooter for my daughter's whenever it had issues, so the learning curve was small even coming from Windows computers and Android phones. It's also very fast, especially compared to my other devices. I used it while out of town this summer to surf the net and check my email and watch youtube, and it was fantastic. I definitely recommend getting one, if you've been considering it.

This iPad was a birthday gift for my sister. She never owned an Apple product before and was pleasantly surprised by the ease of switching over from Windows O/S. She loved the size, the speed and how quickly she was able to download her favorite apps and pictures from one device to another. A great surprise for her "special" numbered birthday.

I have owned a number of Apple iPads over the years beginning with the iPad 2 which came out in 2011. I own a iPad Pro and keyboard cover. I bought this iPad for my son during the summer sales - $329 as a Christmas present. Whether you enjoy listening to music, reading ebooks, playing games, or drawing, the Apple iPad is wonderful producat.
