This was my first iPAD, I've always had Android (or FireOS) tablets. I'm sold on it, at least for a while :). It's very fast and though not nearly as customizable, that aspect of Android no longer holds the allure that it once did. There doesn't seem to be as many free apps as on Android, but I'm not big into apps anyway, other than those provided by businesses I use, and they are free. The rest I'll either live without or if I really need them, pay.

Bought this for my wife as she had been using the iPad 2 for years. So much faster and better storage!

The ol' ball and chain was nagging me about wanting an iPad of her own. Since I'm the best husband ever, I bought the exact one she wanted. Been almost a year and it's still one of the best purchases yet! Bought the 128GB.. Because you never know. She stays in the living room and plays on that while I go to the Mancave and watch sweaty men wrestle each other for championship belts. Win-win.

Bought one which had a defective LCD (common enough to see others report it) but functionally I was impressed. For $330 when it was on sale I must say that if you get your full use out of it then you will be perfectly content as the screen resolution and quality are great performers along with good sound. Is it the best? No. Is it above average? Yes! Add in the security of iOS and you've got a great little daily driver. It was snappy, had good battery life and was all around a great value unless you're someone who wants a $500 tablet for $100. It is a great value and I recommend everyone to consider this over Android devices as many low end Android Tablets are more susceptible to being exploited or hacked so your trust with them can only go so far which is why I say if you buy Android then spend a lot of money or limit your use. Apple tends to get it right with tablets unless you have a defective unit like I did.
