this was a replacement for a 5 yr old ipad-much faster and better camera

Apple's iPad 6th generation is a great device. I bought it for my daughter and she uses it heavily for entertainment and learning. I would say the iPad gets used more than laptops and desktops. Very handy for Youtube, Movies, TV shows, Music, just about everything. Highly recommend!

Apple has several iPad options available, and this iPad is the lowest priced. I purchased it while on sale for $100 off, making it an even better buy. This iPad has the “older” form factor with the home button and bezels. It’s also the only option left at the 9.7” size, which is a good size for me. While this iPad doesn’t have the latest A12X chip, the A10 Fusion chip is plenty powerful enough to be speedy and handle everything I need. My use cases are mainly web surfing, media and email/texting. I previously owned a 2016 iPad Pro, but gave it to my husband at a point that I didn’t think I’d need an iPad anymore. But, after a year or so, I missed having one. I wasn’t sure how I would feel about buying a non-Pro version. There are some things that they do not have. However, that has not been an issue. The performance is great, the display is beautiful and it’s exactly what I need for my purposes. My iPad is running iOS 12. As expected, It integrates wonderfully with my iPhone XS Max and 2018 MacBook Pro. I’m happy with my purchase, and would recommend this iPad to anyone who doesn’t wasn’t to pay the higher price for a Pro or Air. Unless you really need a Pro model, or have to have the new form factor, this iPad option is a great choice, especially for the price.

Pretty fast and looks slim than my old ipad 3. Camera is lot better now.

lots of space an light and a very fast ipad. the only drawback i would have is if your ordering a keyboard case for it pay close attention to ipad 6th gen ipad pro NOT just ipad pro because that one doesn't fit.

I use iPad for entertainment--email, social media, music, reading, shopping, etc. and this model is great for that purpose. No storage issues with 128 GB. Would love a more advanced model--but this is more economical and serves my needs exceptionally well. Highly recommend for use(s) stated above. I would not recommend for photos--not the best quality.
