The digitizer on my old iPad started flaking out, so I went and got this as a replacement. It is just the right size for reading a book or surfing most websites. The 9.7” format is easy to hold and not to big to thumb out an email or place a Best Buy online order. My family is 100% Apple, so setting up was a breeze. I don’t have much music or photos, so 32 GB is plenty. I’m back on the couch enjoying my evenings with my iPad.

I bought this for my husband who survived a stroke 6 years ago. He had trouble with a PC and I knew from my own experience how easy Apple products are to navigate. Because he can't do some of the things he used to do he does research on things and this was a perfect match and he has no trouble and really enjoys using it. I originally bought him an iPad mini but decided to go with the bigger iPad. Glad we did.

I've had a few iPad's in the past, and you always seem to get what you pay for. If you pay for the lower end model, you're missing out. However, this is the first iPad where I've been glad I didn't pay for the higher end model. It works great, it's quick, and you can use the apple pencil with it. Unless you need the bigger screen, 4g, or more on-device memory, use the cloud for storage and go with this model.

Let me start by saying I have never been a fan of Apple. Keep that in mind. I purchased this iPad for my daughter with special needs as a replacement for a 2nd gen that finally met the black screen death. All I can say is WOW! Yes, I realize that is quite a jump going from a 2 to a 6, but still... WOW! Everything you know and expect an iPad to do is right here. I appreciate the lighter design and man, is this baby fast! (Again, that could be since I'm used to a dinosaur with half the storage capacity, but still...) I haven't tried the Apple Pencil but I'm loving that all the familiar features remain. Now I can't say I'll be giving up my Android anytime soon, but this is definitely an amazing purchase for the price. As always, Best Buy is on top of things with their speedy shipping (I don't have a store nearby and make all of my purchases online). Kudos to Best Buy and kudos to Apple for this fantastic product!

Shortly before Christmas I finally shattered part of my IPAD 2 screen. Although I taped the screen and it still functioned I decided to gift myself with the newest IPAD. I’m thrilled with the performance and beautiful display. It’s a thrill to be able to reliably play my online games now - Words with Friends and Trivia Crack. It’s a great product - much more affordable than the original IPAD as well.

Although I'm mostly in the "Android" camp, I decided to get an iPad because iPads are supported by Apple for WAY longer than Android competitor tablets. Samsung makes good tablets too but they're either priced too high (their flagship models) or crappy (their low- and mid-range models). Overall, I've been highly satisfied with this iPad 9.7" model. The screen is crisp, bright, and sharp. Performance is fantastic. And all the apps I've been using are well-designed & run beautifully. Despite not having 4 speakers, the sound level is very satisfactory and definitely good enough for my personal usage. I share the iPad with my 4-yrs-old daughter and she has no trouble using it despite starting with an Amazon Fire HD 8 tablet (Android-based). In fact, she likes using the iPad more because of the bigger and better screen and faster performance. She used to get SO frustrated at the Fire HD 8's jankiness, lag, and sometimes SLOW loading times. XD I purchased this iPad when it was on sale for $250 and it has proven to be a worthwhile investment. I use to have a google nexus tablet that i use some but not a lot. I gave it to my kids and just used my smartphone for everything. However the iPads lowered their prices and i got one for the wife and I. I have to say i use it all the time now for watching shows, sports, and movies to typing documents for work, and facebook. Its a great device, great size and weight as well.

Bought this to replace my mother's old iPad bought back in 2012 or so, which finally died after 7 years - no complaints here about iPad longevity. This was well constructed, obviously faster, and seemed a bit lighter than the old one. Mom was happy to get it since her's was slowing down in the past year or so.

Small, thin, light, and convenient. Works perfectly with my lifestyle.
