Hi! I bought this open box which knocked off 20 or so dollars but in California that’s tax! I had an old iPad 2 Thick and bulky Thank you Apple i was forced to purchase this because certain apps i couldn’t download because of the new update Was it time for me to make a new iPad purchase? Well yes but NO because it’s not cheap! This is lighter Faster Has many more options Screen is slightly larger I didn’t have to buy a new one But since it was an open box I felt like a got a really good deal from Best Buy!

One of the biggest factors keeping me from buying an iPad was the cost. With the new iPad at a price slightly more than $300, it is finally a good deal. I have been nothing but impressed with the quality of the device. The screen is sharp and the battery life is excellent. I haven't tried the Apple pencil though. I mostly use the iPad for browsing the web, watching movies, some writing and editing word and Excel files. In my opinion, this is the iPad to get as long as you don't need the extra power from the iPad pro.

Love my new iPad. Got it at a great price on sale. Works just like any Apple iOS product , solid. Screen is good size, and the material is top of the line compared to android tablets. Fast and snappy processor. Speakers are great. Easy fast setup . Battery life is great . I mainly use this as my tv remote on Chromecast to steam Hulu sling Netflix espn Apps. Also use it for surfing web, email and YouTube . Great buy , I feel like I’ll be able to use this tablet for years to come!

If you’re anything like me, you’ve never owned an iPad before but you’ve decided that it’s time to buy one. You’re not a professional artist, and you don’t make a living by producing creative content. Maybe you don’t have a specific reason to buy one. Maybe you’re hoping to spark some creative ideas. Maybe you want a more simple, minimal computing experience with less distractions. Maybe you think iPads are just neat to play with and you don’t need a better reason than that. This thing is beyond amazing. It feels like way more power and capability than I’ll ever actually need. If the iPad Pro didn’t exist, the 2018 iPad would be a freaking MIRACLE of modern technology. I am insanely happy with my purchase, and I am insanely happy that I didn’t spend twice as much on the iPP. If I develop a new passion for art, or film editing, or anything that requires more horsepower, I can upgrade later. The 2018 iPad feels like it will grow with you if you need it to, or it'll be just as happy to chill with

I am providing a very biased review especially considering I am a Best Buy employee. After watching several of my fellow associates carrying around their own tablets or convertible devices I decided to make the jump and make this purchase. Cloud storage has become the new thing now and, frankly, if you have access to Wi-Fi then this is an absolutely invaluable tool. I'm able to scan my documents into PDF format by simply selecting in the included Notes app to Scan a Document. Then I can make edits - REALLY handy if you pair it with an Apple Pencil. I have access to all of my files through the cloud even with Microsoft Office 365 - which you can purchase in the store for all Office programs and the additional terabyte of storage through OneDrive. A great daily driver for the professional who doesn't need the "Pro" iPad. Storage doesn't actually matter when you've got the cloud. Pair this purchase with a case and the Apple Pencil and get so much use out of it.

It’s an Apple product, what more do I need to say. While yes sometimes Apple products can be pricey I’ve never had a problem with them. My parents android products always have something wrong with them but my stuff is always working. Battery life is great, the screen is clear and crisp. Super fast and does what I need it to do.

For a long time I’ve thought that getting an iPad would be silly because it’s just a larger version of my iPhone. How wrong I was! I ended up selecting an iPad because I need a portable computer for school, wanted something that was secure against viruses, and wouldn’t break the bank. The iPad seemed to check all the boxes, I already was familiar with the operating system, and it can run all of the apps I use for school. I’ve been using it with a Bluetooth keyboard and it’s nothing like I expected. I was able to set it up without transferring all the apps from my phone, which is a big plus because I could still use my Apple ID. It’s a clean slate that I was able to customize for productivity. It feels like I’m using a laptop, except I can pick it up, rotate it, and use a touch screen. It’s even better than a fancy 2-in-1. The iPad meets my needs perfectly and it’s a clean, user-friendly operating system. I would recommend it highly for people who need a portable computer but aren’t tech-savvy for simplicity and security. I love that I don’t have to worry that something I download will give me a virus!

I use my iPad for religious meetings using our app. The size of the iPad is easy to hold. When I prepare for meetings, it’s easy to play videos and use the online library. I also use the iPad to play games like solitaire and Happy Color. This device is much easier to use for the coloring than my old tablet. The battery lasts much longer too. I would definitely recommend it to others.

From day one my iPad has worked phenomenally! It has excellent battery life, easy to navigate interface, amazing picture quality, amongst a lot of other cool features! I’m in love! I’m a student who realized my 15-inch laptop was not great for note taking. I needed something small for that, and this iPad was more than good enough for that! It has been very easy to deal with and has taken the place of my expensive new laptop in most situations! I recommend this to any students looking for an inexpensive way to take notes, surf the web, watch videos, and even write up papers!

This is my iPad, I really like it, it is fast and I got a great deal on the purchase which I got it on sale! It has plenty space for all your songs and browsing through internet and doing school work is really easy. The screen is big enough that makes it easy to read digital books. I highly recommend it!

This is an excellent iteration on the iPad. I can't think of a better tablet to buy when considering size, hardware, price, and performance. We replaced my wife's iPad mini (first gen) from 2012 with this and she couldn't be happier. That being said, neither of us are tablet power users, mostly use them for watching videos and surfing the internet so your mileage may vary.

The new iPad is smaller lighter, and faster. It is great for portability!

My previous experience with iPads left much to be desired. I always felt they moved at a glacial pace, and didn’t warrant the high price. This one, however, the 2017 9.7 inch model, is fast, effective, the screen is great and, with the right keyboard, works every bit as well, if not better, than the Surface. And for $250…? you see where I’m going with this.
