I love how lightweight and easy is it to put in my backpack. It’s really easy to use. I can even do basic things on word, excel and PowerPoint! I am able to access all of my online schoolwork and complete assignments and tests. The screen is very clear and seems big. For me, an iPad is a must have item, in addition to my laptop and phone.

Much Improved Over iPad Mini It's Replacing

I was replacing an older iPad mini with a cracked screen. The larger screen is so much better than the mini. Great for emails, internet browsing, and of course shipping! Decent battery time and it charges more quickly than my old iPad. Sound is not great but decent, and it works fine for e-book reading from the library. Haven’t used the camera much yet, but with 32gb of storage and the cloud, space should not be an issue. I understand it can be used with the Apple Pencil but I may not setting it up that way. Hooked up to WiFi quickly and without issue. Overall very happy with my selection and a great step up from my older iPad mini. Also, I want to comment on the great assistance from the staff at Best Buy.

    Nice Upgrade from the Mini

I had wanted something slightly bigger than my mini iPad as I use this for everything, including designing and reading. It continues to work and still receives the occasional upgrades. It was easy to put and transfer stuff from my old mini on here by restoring from a backup file I had in the Cloud. No issues so far and so easy to use and navigate.

We needed an IPad with speed and ease of use, specifically for FaceTime and simple uses like bill pay, word games and surfing the net. Super easy, super fast - couldn’t be happier with our purchase. Plus, the price was just over $300. We assumed we would have to pay $500 - $600. And it is full size; not a mini. We plan to purchase a second sometime soon.

    Best iPad So Far

As always, Apple is kown for putting out consistently high quality products and this no exception. Unless you have need for the capabilities or screen size of the Pro, then this iPad will do everything and more. The screen is amazing in quality and it is super light (compaed to earlier versions). Keeps a charge for a long time too!

We bought one of the original iPad Minis several years ago for our daughter and it has gotten a lot of use, but it doesn't support the latest version of iOS. So we decided it was time to upgrade. The cost of the new iPad versus iPad Mini was about $70 and for what our daughter uses on the iPad, we didn't feel the need to spend the extra money on an iPad Mini for the extra storage space, so we decided on the regular iPad. 32 GB of storage is plenty to store quite a few apps and she only uses it at home on our Wi-Fi. The screen size is perfect, the resolution and color is spectactular... she loves it. Overall, it's an excellent tablet and will be able to handle anything she needs to do on it, but for educational purposes and for fun. The only downside I've seen so far is the battery life... the battery drains relatively quickly and has to be charged much more often than the iPad Mini. I expected that to some extent, being that it has a bigger screen, so I knew it would use a bit more battery power. But it seems to use a lot more battery power than it should despite the bigger screen and increased resolution. But, it's not a showstopper.

Unless you absolutely needed a bigger screen than this. I'm defintely not seeing a need to get the ipad pro over this model. This will absolutely suit the needs of the average consumer (aka 90% of people). Everything runs buttery smooth and all the apps I've thrown at it run like charm. Save some money and get this over the Ipad pro.

Glory, glory halleluJAAAHHH! Behold, the sickest of sick pieces of awesome tech. I'm a digital artist, and I wanted something of quality that was somewhat affordable to draw on the go. I settled on this, paired with the Apple Pencil. It was worth every cent. Every. Single. One. I thought it would take me awhile to get used to drawing on the smooth screen, in comparison to the textured screen of my Wacom Cintiq, but it only took me a several minutes to become fairly comfortable with it. And all of it together cost just over $400. That is preposterously cheap for a quality art monitor/tablet. I would highly recommend this even as a primary digital drawing interface to professional and beginner artists alike.

I had a Samsung tablet that I was given for free with my wireless provider and needed a replacement when I lost it. for around the same price, you will find clunky low-resolution tablets that make it a chore to use. This has a beautiful screen with the highest resolution that you will find at this price. It's not laminated meaning there is a gap between the touch surface and the actual pixels that you can only notice if you start to research some of the other pads that are laminated (seriously you will not know unless you know exactly what you are looking for ). the processor is lightning quick and not even a comparison to alternatives at this price point, go search benchmarks and see for yourself. The battery lasts me 10 hours plus and very easy to use. the built is classic apple quality. I find myself using this over computers when I'm on the couch or watching movies. I wouldn't have purchased this when the prices were through the roof but I'm glad they made this affordable to anyone.

Decent battery life, camera quality, and runs smoothly. I haven't purchase the Apple Pencil to try so I can't comment on how that feature. Overall, good basic tablet for daily use (browsing, streaming, messaging, e-book reading, listening to music), but I would recommend 128GB for those who play mobile games.

I love this iPad. I use it every day, several times per day. I traded up to this model from the last generation. There is little difference that I can see between them except for ability to use the pencil. It has a beautiful, bright screen and a very fast processor. Very easy to use. A great price.

So, I have mostly used Android to date but decided on this iPad for business and school notes. No complaints about the weight, portability, screen quality or speed. The only complaint I had was it not connecting properly to a school network at first but the campus tech support solved that problem. The ecosystem is more unified than Android, allowing a more consistent experience. Basically, if you know your intended uses and want Apple on a budget, I recommend this. If you have more customization in mind and so want Android, there are good tablets, just at higher cost than this.

I love my iPad. It is a great improvement over my old one. The screen is amazingly clear. It synced with my iPhone for easy sign in. Very powerful and fast. Screen size is great for face time and Skype. The quality is obvious when you hold it in your hand. Very sleek and attractive.

Small and light, but more useful than an iPad mini. Highly portable - so consider getting a protective case. Great screen, adequate battery life and a strong processor. Haven’t tried an apple pencil yet - nice to know that it is compatible. Wish that Mophie would make a powerstand for newer iPads.

I’m a student and I use this to review all the time. Matches with Apple Pencil and is easy to bring around. Very great improvements from the last model and comparable to an iPad Pro but cheaper! If all you do is basic stuff like Netflix stream, take notes and study, this is the student must have.

Paid $249 during the sale. Originally $329, I feel I got a great deal. the 32GB was more than enough to satisfy my needs as I do not use that many apps. iPad is easy to use, pairs with my iPhone and overall a great quality device. Very happy with my purchase
