I tend not to want to write a review for a product that gets so many reviews, unless I had something I thought worth mentioning. There are enough posts on performance and elegance so I am only going to mention one aspect that I think I appreciate most about this product that is somewhat absent in other tablets I use. I understand other options are less expensive, much of that expense comes at the expense of privacy and advertising. I receive no system level adds, few app-based adds. I know that some applications try to get you to upgrade, but I do not want my OS harvesting my information. Nor do I want a full page add (sometimes with audio) when switching between system applications (e.g. lingerie because I looked and stuff for my wife) when using my device. Nor the competing applications from the OS maker and the device manufacturer (e.g. two mail, message, calendar, memo, notes, music, video, etc.). I am not anti-Android or Samsung, etc. I use many of those products and recommend them at times. This is just one difference that makes a difference for me.

I love my new Ipad! If you have other Apple products then you'll know what to expect. Looks the same works the same etc. It so super thin! Great for portability but get a case! I am not even comfortable handling this product without the case. It seems so fragile. It may not be but I'm not trying to find out!

I upgraded from my 4th Generation to this and it is night and day. Best tablet on the market. Fast, liget, thin and great screen to boot. Adding the touch ID is also a wonderful Ideal.

Love this iPad! Definitely recommend opting for the extra space. Apps alone take up so much space on my iPhone that I learned the extra space is necessary. Esp if you're using this for work and need to run various programs for docs, photo editing, PDFs, etc. I got tired of deleting things on the iPhone to clear up space. Now I won't have to. excellent price this holiday season at Best Buy and the hard case w/ keyboard I bought was perfect to replace my lap top. So tired of buying new software. Became an iOS and app fan late in the game but glad I made the jump. Thought about the iPad pro but the reviews made me nervous. Might have to wait until a later generation on that. Don't need a screen that big and I won't have a need for the pen. This should last me as long if not longer than my last laptop. Love it!!

I purchased this iPad during Black Friday, which lead to it being highly discounted. It is a great tablet that we use almost as a second laptop (Laptab?) around the house. I also purchased an LG bluetooth keyboard and holder, which I believe really adds to the tablets versatility. The speed is fantastic, the apps are very useful, and the memory at 128 GB is more than enough. The iPad pro may be a better choice for those looking for the most powerful tablets available, besides the Microsoft Surface, but this is a good choice for someone who is not necessarily looking to work consistently on it for work, drawing, etc. Great purchase and great product

If you have already bought into the apple Ecosystem then there isn't another option. It's fast, stable, simple with a clean OS. Screen seems to finger print more than my older iPad 3 and the battery doesn't seem to last as long. But I love the smaller form factor. It so light and thin. I recommend at least 64 gig model though I did 128 this time. My 32 gig iPad 3 ran out of space in two years with moderate photo and movie usage.

I researched online and then visited Best Buy to see the model I wanted. This IPad Air is exactly what I wanted and I use it every day. It has wonderful picture quality. I enjoy the larger size (vs the mini); so easy to read, and the thin size of the IPadAir. Nothing but good to say for this product.

I previously had an iPad 2, and an iPad 4 after that, both of which were fantastic devices. I enjoyed them both for reading and leisure computing, and would not have imagined the experience could be improved to any significant degree. The iPad Air 2, however, does what I wouldn't have thought possible - it blows away those previous generations of Apple's tablet. Lighter and more comfortable with a much, much crisper display, the Air 2 is what (I believe) the tablet form factor was always meant to be. If your tablet has been any iteration of the iPad before the original Air, or any other manufacture's half-baked attempt at a tablet computer, then you have not yet truly used a "tablet" computer!

I love the I-Pad. I can use it at lunch time to play games and check my email. I also take it with me when I know I will be sitting in a waiting room passing time. It was easy to set up to my wi-fi at home and other places with wi-fi.

I love my iPad Air 2! I use it every day. I read ebooks on iBooks, Kindle and Nook. It runs all of these apps with no problems. I have written a book and done the edits on the iPad. I’ve also sent the book to my editor and love that I can convert my documents to any format.

I traded in my "New iPad" (3rd gen) for a new iPad Air 2 a week after they were released. I loved my 3rd gen iPad, but lots of use and years had taken their toll. It was getting slower and the battery life had fallen off pretty hard recently. I took the opportunity with the introduction trade in offer to upgrade to the 128gb version (previous was a 32gb). I find that I still stay active in data management, but I can now keep more of my music on it without sacrificing too much storage. The iPad Air 2 is quick and very responsive, as an iPhone 5s user I appreciate the touch sensor. My reasoning for 4 star vs. 5 is that as others have stated, you can feel the speaker vibrate through the iPad. At times (watching a movie) it's not too bad and can add to the effect. When listening to music it can be a little bothersome. If you are an original iPad Air user I wouldn't upgrade yet. If you are using any other previous generation iPad it's definately a worthy upgrade.

I am a loyal Apple customer and have numerous apple products. This iPad Air 2 is as good as all the others and then some. It's the perfect size for someone on the go that travels. I fly a lot and don't want a bulky tablet, so this is perfect for me. Another great Apple product in a perfect size.

Looked at the newer iPads, but just could not see enough of a difference to pay the extra money for them. Fast, great screen, and plenty of storage. Battery life is great, too.

I play ASL videos all the time and the quality of the videos is very clear. I can also watch other videos and movies without using headphones because the volume is awesome! I also like the long lasting battery, i can keep using my ipad without having to worry about the battery going low quickly.

Had a ipad 3 retinal display. The new iPad air2 puts it to shame. So light! So fast!, So cool! You will not be disappointed! Battery last long and display is so detailed!. Always worth the money

Upgrade from IPAD 4 very happy that I did. Much faster, great display and significantly more memory (128 gb). Really like the size and weight and have nothing negative to say.

Using it on all my international travels and the wifi option is enough for me as there are always free wifi hotspots available. I opted with the 128 GB size as that allows me all the video and music to be stored. One draw back of the iPad is thrust it doesn't have USB nor micro SD expansion slots.

Coming from the iPad 2, this is definitely a faster, lighter, and sleeker device. Large capacity keeps all media onboard without having to swap out apps and music to accommodate new downloads

I knew what I wanted I knew exactly what make and how much I wanted to spend.. It was a no brainer. I did my research. It could of taken 10 minutes to get in there and purchase it right?? Well not one sales associate approached me. Not one. Nor did they say HI, HELLO. Or better yet, "I'll be with you in a minute".. Nothing. I actually had to stop somebody and say, excuse me but can I buy an iPad????? His reply? " what one??" I pointed .. "What color" .. I told him. His reply? Oh, well let me see if we even have it".. Comes out 5 minutes later, and said okay found it. No product knowledge, no asking me if I needed a cover ( which I did) no helpful useful tips any buyer would need to know. Nothing.. Rang me up and said thanks.. I spent 900.00 by the way. I bought my cover at another best buy because I just wanted to get out. The store was not busy, so that was not the detractor here. Just bad customer service. Retail is tough, I know, I work in retail. I don't expect a lot I really don't. But I just expect common simple courtesy, it's not hard to fake it. I love my iPad though.

This is a replacement to my previous iPad. I like this one just as much as the 1st generation. I was shocked how much better the picture was. I did not really think the Retina display would make a huge difference, but I was wrong. I love my iPad and would recommend it to anyone looking for a tablet
