I love my laptop. I belong to many Internet forums and read news online. I travel a lot. Where I go, my laptop goes, along with a charging cord, mouse, bluetooth adapter and other accessories. It is heavy and bulky. It is primarily an Internet device. I rarely use Office but I do need it. My wife has a Microsoft Surface RT (from BestBuy) which she uses as a backup to her PC. She convinced me to get a tablet. I chose the iPad Air 2 64 gb based on recommendations from friends. My wife has an iPhone so we can iMessage and Face Time. Neither of us knows Android so I never really considered an Android device. There was a steep learning curve on moving my music and photos to the iPad, as Apple restricts your ability to manipulate the file structure once the items are on the iPad. Several calls to Apple helped get us both on track. The Apple user service was fabulous and reprogrammed our way of thinking about iPad. Once I realized that the iPad Air 2 is basically like a read-only device (you don't create a lot of new anything with it, except photos taken with it) and accepted Apple's way of doing things, I have found using the iPad has been fabulous. Photos look incredible. Music (with a bluetooth speaker) sounds great. The screen is large enough to my surprise. It is incredibly light and portable. I have more than 32 gb of music and photos on it already (in 3 weeks). I love it. Best Buy helped me realize that I needed a tablet. A team leader took the time to show me what the iPad Air could do and relate it to what I like to do with the PC laptop. He essentially gave me a few tutorials to demonstrate that it is not that difficult for a Windows guy to use. He offered opinions that were spot on and saved me some money. I did not get the Apple cover. I found a Belkin (on sale) that is light, sturdy and gives me many positions for watching movies and videos AND lower positions for typing. Great device. Great store experience. Great price.

I have owned an iPad 2 for a number of years and really liked it but thought it was time to look at the new model. This version is thinner, lighter and by purchasing the 64GB model, comes with much more space than my old 16GB iPad 2. The screen is very sharp and apps run more smoothly and quickly. Plus, by purchasing this here at BestBuy.com in the Black Friday Sale, at $100 off the list price this was quite a good bargain. Yes, I am very happy with this new iPad.

I'm still learning to use the device, but it operates very similarly to my iPhone. I have added the apps I desired and used them as I would my phone or laptop computer previously. The display is great and with my wireless system is very quick. It is so much quicker than either a laptop or netbook. Not everything is set up yet, but am looking forward to learning to use the new features. The screen is big and very clear and the unit is easy to operate for a senior.

I was looking to replace my outdated Ipad 2 and was waiting for the right time. When I saw that Best Buy had Apple products on sale for $100.00 off, I knew the time was right. I was able to upgrade to 64GB and am very happy with the purchase. The Ipad Air is much lighter than the Ipad 2 that I had before and the camera is also much better. Even the color on the display seems more vivid. If you like Apple products, you will not be disappointed.

This tablet is the best for school work and entertainment. It has great apps for taking notes, do homework and other great studying tools. For entratainment, it has almost everything you need, from televisions to gaming. Pros Great screen Great speed Great battery life And everything else Cons Is the price but that's no excuse into buying a perfect product

I thought I needed the Pro; but after trying it I found it much too large to be useful as a tablet, even with the great display and the pencil. Then I tried surface, but it is too heavy and windows is just not a stable enough build for my comfort. I settled on the iPad Air 2 and am very happy; using it all the time for reading and marking up pdf's, with a keyboard as a mini-laptop, and for web/email/apps. Perfect solution for me.

First and foremost, I want to say I am not an "Apple person" who buys something just because it features a shiny Apple logo. But I needed an iPad to run the application that remotely connects to the sound board at my church. It does that and does it very well, as I am able to adjust sound levels from anywhere in our sanctuary via this device. Beyond that, however, I have been impressed with the functionality, fluidity, and versatility of the Air 2. I use it to store my entire music library (64GB model). I clip this to a mic stand in lieu of a music stand and paper chord charts. When I am teaching from scripture, this iPad is both my outline and my Bible. The screen is large enough to browse the internet comfortably. I store memos and notes, organize my calendar, and the best part is - I can have 10 or 20 apps open at the same time, and there's really no loss of functionality. Lastly, the screen is bright, vivid, and beautiful. Videos are crisp, clear, and smooth. The Retina display comes as advertised. The price tag is high, as I have come to expect from Apple, but the versatility it offers makes it my go-to for nearly every technical application of what I do. Highly, highly recommended!

I recently upgraded from the iPad 2 to my new iPad Air 2. This is the best iPad ever! It is everything all the reviewers said it was, plus more. It is lightening fast and so light and easy to use. Battery life is great. It has so many new features and I just love the split screen view. I would recommend it to my family and friends.

iPads are great. They have been since day one. I spend a lot of time on the road and the iPad though not a full replacement for a laptop computer is a great machine. I've owned version 1, 3, 4 and now this, the iPad Air 2. Like most travelers I use my iPad for email, browsing the web, paying bills and entertainment. I also use it for video editing (Pinacle Studio) and song writing (mostly Garage Band with an iRig Pro interface). The truth is though I can see a small increase in processor speed, the iPad 4 worked fine. This is something to consider if you don't need to run any power apps. You can save a ton buying last year's iPad Air or even a used iPad 4. The iPad Air 2 only brings a few minor improvements to the table besides a faster processor. It's lighter and a bit thinner. Fingerprint recognition is kinda cool and there are a few added camera features and you can now get 64 gigabytes for the price of the previous model's release of 34. Features like Apple Pay are cool as now every purchase I make with my Amex card is tracked but it's not like I'm going to carry a full sized iPad around instead of a credit card. There are a few other minor additions to the OS but all in all, it's still the same iPad as a few generations ago. In conclusion, if you want to save $100, get last year's iPad Air. If you want to save $300 buy a used iPad 4. They all work great especially if you only use them for email, Internet and entertainment. That said, I still love my new iPad and will probably continue to trade up for years to come!

Amongst my family members we have the iPad 2, iPad 3, iPad mini, iPad mini 2, and now the iPad Air 2. This is truly the best iPad Apple has released to date. So incredibly thin, so unbelievably light. The Retina display is spectacular. Battery life is great. Performance is the best. We have also had Kindle Fires and tried Samsung tablets. They are not even worth a comparison with Apple's iPads.

I upgraded from an iPad 2 to the new iPad Air 2, and I can't believe the difference. The new iPad Air 2 is so much lighter, thinner, and smaller, yet without sacrificing screen size. It is very fast, holds a charge for a long time, and the graphic quality is amazing. It takes great pictures too, and the number of apps available for it means you can do absolutely anything with it, from gaming to movies to work. Good audio, although the location of the speaker on the bottom edge sometimes is not ideal.

I upgraded from an iPad 2 that is now in my wife's hands. I love how light it is compared to the 2. It is fast at everything: Internet and apps. Love the screen; I hardly use my tv anymore! Love reading on it. I loved the 2, and this is a lighter, faster, better looking, and longer lasting version. I am most impressed by how long Apple is still supporting much older products!!

The iPad Air 2 is a stunning tablet when it comes to design. Even thinner an lighter than its predecessor, Apple has managed to pack blistering performance and 10-hour battery life in a tiny package. My wife cracked the screen on her iPad 3 and we had to replace it before it got worse so we opted for the this and man is it really nice! I am not an Apple fan but the design of this tablet is really well done. It is lighter and thinner than the previous version and my wife says it is even more responsive than the iPad 3!

This is the third iPad I have owned and it is by far the best one that Apple has produced. It is very light (slightly noticeably lighter than the original iPad air). I like the touch ID features, improved camera, battery life, and processing speed. Overall, this is the best tablet on the market right now, period!

My girlfriend and I decided to buy one for our trip to Europe for videos, games, etc. Great battery life, good size screen, plenty of storage, easy to use. Like all other Apple products, I'm not disappointed with it in any way. This is our first tablet and we couldn't be happier with its performance.

Lighter than wife's iPad 4. Like how integrates with iPhone. Coming from Win laptop, iOS easy to use and learn. Built in fingerprint sensor is convenient when coming out of sleep, also integrates with my bank's mobile app. Cameras are great. Battery lasts me all day with heavy usage.

I bought my teen-age daughter the iPad Air2 64GB Gold and she LOVES it!! It was extremely fast, takes great pics and is very slim and sleek. Terrific retina display and finger print recognition help make this the absolute Best tablet on the market. Apple nailed this product!!!

This is my first Apple purchase because their products can be very pricey. After much research both online and with friends and family that have Apple products I decided to pull the trigger and get it. I decided on the Air model over the Mini because of the bigger screen and the larger keyboard when typing. It was easy to set up and has very fast response. I also like the Siri feature. It makes the whole process of using the Ipad much more enjoyable. My grand daughter uses Siri to practice her French. My Ipad has 64 GB which is more than enough for what I use it for. Everyone has different opinions about computer related products so I would advise you to do your homework and research before you invest in an Apple product.
